Matter is anything that has mass and takes up space. What is a property? Property is a characteristics that helps identify an object. Properties of Matter 1. How it looks (shiny, dull, color etc) 2. How it feels (smooth, rough, hard, soft etc) 3. How it smells (sweet, sharp, terrible, no smell etc) 4. How it sounds (loud, quiet, soft, echo etc) 5.
