Özet
DAĞCI, Yusuf. Yahyalı (Kayseri) ve Yöresi Ağızları, Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Niğde,
2012.
Bu tez Kayseri’nin Yahyalı ilçesinin coğrafî durumunu, kısa tarihini ve dil
özeliklerini içermektedir. Tezin sonunda yer alan bölümünde ise Yahyalı ağzında
kullanılan kelimeler ve anlamları yer almaktadır. Çalışmamıza kaynaklık etmesi için
15 köyden derlemeler yapıldı. 26 kişiyle yapılan konuşmalar kasete alındı ve bölge
ağzını yansıtan konuşmalar seçilerek yazıya aktarıldı. Çalışmamız, ‘’Giriş’, ‘’Ses
Bilgisi’’, ‘’Şekil Bilgisi’’, ‘’Metinler’’ ve ‘’Sözlük’’ bölümlerinden oluşmaktadır.
Çalışmamızın giriş kısmında, Yahyalı hakkında genel bilgiler bulunmaktadır.
Yahyalı’nın coğrafî durumu, iklimi, ekonomisi, Yahyalı adının nasıl oluştuğu ve
tarihi ile bilgiler bu bölümde yer almaktadır. Ses Bilgisi bölümünde, Yahyalı’dan
derlediğimiz metinlerde yazı dilinden farklı olarak tespit ettiğimiz ünlüler ve
ünsüzler yer almaktadır. Bunların özelliklerinin ayrıntılı biçimde incelenmesi ve ünlü
ve ünsüzlerle ilgili ses olayları da yine bu bölümde bulunmaktadır. Şekil Bilgisi
bölümünde; Yahyalı ağzındaki isimler, zamirler, sıfatlar, fiiller, zarflar ve edatlar
özellikleriyle birlikte ayrıntılı biçimde ele alınmıştır. Tezimizin bölümlerini ses ve
şekil bilgisi oluşturmaktadır. Sonuç bölümünde; Yahyalı ağzının tespit ettiğimiz
özellikleri maddeler hâlinde sıralanmıştır. Çalışmamız sırasında yararlandığımız
kaynakların künyeleri Kaynakça bölümünde yer almaktadır. Metinler bölümünde
Yahyalı bölgesinden derlediğimiz ve yazıya aktardığımız, çalışmamıza kaynaklık
eden metinler bulunmaktadır. Sözlük bölümünde ise yazı dilinde kullanılmayan veya
ses olayları nedeniyle zor anlaşılabileceğini tahmin ettiğimiz kelimeler ve bunların
anlamları yer almaktadır.

This thesis consists of the geograpical situation, a brief history and the
linguistic characteristics of Yahyalı district of Kayseri. In the ‘Glossary’ section at
the end of the thesis, the words used in Yahyalı dialect and their meanings are given.
Data was collected from three municipality and 15 villages in order to be used as a
source to our study. Conversations with 26 people were recorded in cassettes, and
the conversations reflecting the regional dialect were selected and written down. Our
study consists of the ‘’Introduction’’, ‘’Phonetics’’, ‘’Morphology’’, ‘’Conclusion’’,
‘’Texts’’ and ‘’Dictionary’’ sections. In the ‘Introduction’ section of our study, There
is the general information about Yahyalı. The geographical situation, climate,
economy of Yahyalı, the origin of the name Yahyalı, and the historic information
about the district are presented in this section. In the ‘Phonetics’ section, the
consonants and vowels we determined in the text collected from Yahyalı as different
from the standard written language are included. The in-detail investigation of tehese
consonants and vowels and the phonetics relating to them are also given in this
section. In the ‘Morphology’ section, the bouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs and
prepositions in Yahyalı dialect are dealt with in detail. The examination sections of
our study consist of the phonetics and morphology. In the ‘Conclusion’ section, the
determined characteristics of Yahyalı dialect are listed item by item. The names of
the sources we used in our study are given in ‘Bibliography’ section. In the ‘Text’
section, the text we have collected from Yahyalı district and we have written down,
for using them in our study as the source, are given. In the ‘Glossary’ section, the
words which are not used in written language and are considered to be difficult-tounderstand and their meanings are given.
