Please request a minimum possible number of parking permits due to the very limited parking space at the top of Sljeme Ski Resort. You may leave earlier or later to Sljeme by your own arrangement and at your own responsibility, with the parking permit, however you may risk heavy traffic in the city centre and heavy spectators’ bus traffic on the road to Sljeme on the race days, when the traffic will be stopped for 15 minutes for the team convoy. Directions to the ski resort and back to the hotel will be marked on the roads and are shown on the enclosed maps. Transport of the team members from the Zagreb Airport to The Westin Zagreb Hotel (15-20 minute drive) and back will be organised upon the request of all interested team members from January 2 until January 7, 2015. I N SU R A N C E Competitors compete at their own risk. The National Ski Associations are responsible for an adequate insurance coverage for all their competitors (Art. 204.2 of the FIS ICR Rules). I N V I TAT I O N FOR ACCOMMODATION • Audi FIS Ski World Cup “Vip Snow Queen Trophy” will be held in accordance with the Rules for the Alpine FIS Ski World Cup 2014/15 and the FIS ICR Rules. T E A M EXP ENS ES After the Team captains’ meeting, team captains will receive a voucher with the maximum number of nights according to the Rules for the Alpine FIS Ski World Cup 2014/15. Team captains will present this voucher at the front desk at the check-out and will pay all extra nights for additional officials (if any) directly to the hotel at the rate of 120 CHF per person per night for full board, in accordance with the Rules for the Alpine FIS Ski World Cup 2014/15. Team captains are responsible for covering all team extra charges (telephone, mini-bar, pay TV, etc.). Payments for the accommodation with the arrival before January 2, 2015 for the ladies’ teams, and with the departure after January 7, 2015 for the men’s teams, will be made independently of the issued vouchers and will be paid directly at the hotel front desk. T R AV E L EXP ENS ES Travel expenses will be paid by bank transfer to the accounts of respective National Ski Associations, in accordance with Article 5.4 of the Rules for the Alpine FIS Ski World Cup 2014/15. Filled-out OC travel expense forms will be sent by E-mail not later than seven (7) working days after the end of the competition to the respective National Ski Associations together with the bank transfer confirmation. 19 20 O F F I CI A L P RI Z E S A N D PR I Z E MONEY Winners of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup “Vip Snow Queen Trophy” 2015 races for ladies and men will get a crown and a cloak. In addition, names of the winners will be engraved on the transitional crown, which is being kept in the premises of the Croatian Ski Association, and during the races will be exhibited in the lobby of The Westin Zagreb Hotel. Both runner-up and third-place winners of the ladies’ and men’s race will get a statue with a snowflake, feature of the winner’s crown. Prize money will be paid by bank transfer to the competitors’ accounts, in accordance with Article 6 of the Rules for the Alpine FIS Ski World Cup 2014/15. The bank transfer confirmation and the prize money calculation forms will be sent to the competitors’ E-mail addresses not later than seven (7) working days after the end of the competition. T E A M I N V I TAT I O N All racers, apart from the racers who were ranked in Zagreb in the top 30 from 2010 until now, must submit to the Race Office two copies of the filled-out and signed Special Power of Attorney, authorising the Croatian Ski Association to get a Croatian Personal Identification Number (OIB) on their behalf for the Croatian Tax Administration needs. Special Power of Attorney forms may be picked up in one of the Race Offices and will also be distributed to the team captains at the Team Captains’ meetings. It is also sent to the teams by E-mail together with the Team Invitation. Competitors, who did not already submit the forms to the FIS office, may submit the filled-out and signed official FIS forms for electronic payment of the prize money containing necessary information, together with a photocopy of their passports either to the Race Office at The Westin Zagreb Hotel or on the race days to the Race Office in the Jezero Restaurant in the finish area. 21 22 O F F I CI A L P RESS C E N T R E S , CO N F E R E N C E S & M ED IA MED IA INFO The Main press centre will be located at the Crystal Hall (1/3) at The Westin Zagreb Hotel. The Sub-press centre on the race days will be located at the top of Sljeme Ski Resort in the Hotel Tomislavov dom. There will be also a Mini-press centre and Photo corner organised on the race days, both located in the finish area in the tents below the Restaurant “Jezero”. From there, the media will be able to reach the finish area and return by a triple chairlift. Chairlift will not slow down for loading pedestrians in the following times during the inspection and the race: - for the ladies’ race: - on January 4, 2015: - 08:15 – 08:55 - 10:00 – 11:15 - 12:00 – 12:20 - 12:45 – 13:30 - for the men’s race: - on January 6, 2015: - 12:45 – 13:00 - 13:15 – 14:05 - 15:05 – 16:35 - 17:25 – 17:50 - 18:10 – 18:55 T E A M I N V I TAT I O N The use of the chairlift by pedestrians in the aforementioned times is exclusively on one’s own responsibility; therefore we recommend that the pedestrians do not use the chairlift in the aforesaid times! It will not be possible for media representatives to drive their own cars to the site due to the limited parking space on top of Sljeme and in the finish area, as well as due to the special transportation system, however TV vehicles and radio commentators’ vehicles will be exempt from this restriction. TV station vehicles with broadcasting or recording rights, as well as the vehicles of radio commentators commenting the competition from their booths, will get drop off parking permits for the finish area and parking permits for Krumpirište (1,3 km from the finish area), and from there and back the shuttle transportation by official vehicles of the Organiser will be arranged.
