It is produced from SBS modified bitumen which exhibits impressive elasticity and enhanced viscoelastic properties even at extremely low temperatures (-40 °C), and special additives that give the membrane self-adhesive properties, hence the ability to stick very easily to a suitably prepared substrate without the need of a torch. EshaStick 3000-X, is 1.5 mm thick, has a top cover of High Density Polyethylene Sheet (HDPE) with enhanced mechanical properties also functioning as its reinforcement, and a bottom cover of silicon release paper. STORAGE Membrane rolls should be stored in their original package, in vertical position, protected from direct sunlight, rain, snow and ice. APPLICATION PROCEDURE  Surfaces should be smooth, dry and dust free, clean from oil, rust and foreign matter.  The surface is primed with ESHALAC 50S. Primer is cold applied as supplied, by brush, roller or spray gun and is allowed to dry. Primer consumption:  -Metal surface : 150-250 gr/m2 in one layer -Concrete surface : 250-450 gr/m2 in one layer ESHASTICK 3000 x self-adhesive waterproofing membrane is then applied and pressadhered onto the dry and primed surface, after peeling off its protective silicon release paper.  Overlapping of the membrane sheets should not be less than 5 cm. Waterproof sealing of the seams is achieved by applying local pressure with a seam roller or rounded wood piece. EN ISO 9001: 2000 At temperatures below 5 oC, the adhesion properties of ESHASTICK 3000 X are enhanced EN ISO 14001: 2004 by gently heating the membrane's tacky surface with a hot-air gun or torch. Application notes  Application temperature should be higher than 5 °C.  The waterproofing should be carried out by technicians, properly trained and certified in the bituminous membranes application.
