Annual Community Barbeque
Sunday June 29th
The Community is hosting a barbecue to celebrate
our patron saints, the Apostles Peter and Paul on
Sunday, June 29th at the South Leisure Centre
(170 Sunset Drive). Festivities are set to begin after
11:30 A.M. immediately following the Sunday
Liturgy. There will be plenty of food, drink, music
and activities for the children. Children are
welcome to bring their swimsuits to play in the
splash park. The gym is rented, so no matter what
the weather has in store for this day, there is
plenty of room for everyone.

The George Kodas Memorial Scholarship
was awarded to PANAYIOTIS TSAGOURIS
for being the top student of the
graduating class of 2014 with an average
of 100%. Panayiotis has his named
engraved on the main plaque, a keeper
plaque for himself, as well as a cheque for
$300. The Kodas family is very proud of
you, Panayioti! Congratulations!
Ladies of Philoptochos Society
Our next meeting will be on
Monday June 16 t h 2014, 7:30 p.m.
This will be the last meeting before the
summer break. Our Potluck Dinner will
follow immediately after the me eting.
Please make sure you bring lenten food
(nistisima).

join the Evening in Greece Organizing
Committee. Preparations for 2015 are
already getting underway and we need
your help.
This is a great opportunity to take part in
one of Regina’s premiere fundraisin g
events. “An Evening in Greece ” has raised
more than $1,800,000 over the past 20 years
to
benefit
worthwhile
charitable
organizations such as Regina Palliative Care
Inc., Hospitals Foundation of Regina and
many more.

MOSAIC 2014
Thank You
Mosaic 2014 is almost upon us and we need your help! If
you can give an hour or two of your time, we would
appreciate it immensely! We have a great community full
of wonderful people who help out each year. Please
contact the committee heads below in the area(s) in which
you would like to help out on June 5th, 6th, and 7th.
Please note that the Food Line and Coffee and Dessert
Line desperately need volunteers and we ALWAYS need
people to clean tables!
