Grand collectionneur, principalement de voitures victorieuses dans les grandes épreuves comme Le Mans,
Bonneville ou l’Indy Car, Bruce a remporté nombre de prix à Pebble Beach ainsi que dans d’autres concours
aux quatre coins des Etats-Unis. Les modèles de son éclectique collection vont de Duesenberg aux Dragsters,
des Cobra aux Corvette, des Indian aux Indy cars…
Sa passion, doublée d’une grande culture automobile, l’a tout naturellement conduit à faire partie du board
de nombreux musées et à recevoir moult récompenses telles ‘Le Collectionneur de l’Année Meguiar’s’, ‘La
Personnalité Automobile’ du Musée Petersen dont il a été le premier président; tout comme son intérêt pour
la voiture américaine lui a valu de faire partie du Dry Lake & du Grand National Roasdster Show Halls of
Fame.
Pilote également, il a fait ses débuts en 1964 avec sa première voiture de collection, une Mercedes 500
Gullwing. Il a ensuite continué avec le meilleur du meilleur, et dans le monde entier, en participant aux Mille
Miglia, au Tour Auto, au Goodwood Festival of Speed, tout comme aux principaux rallyes américains. Il est
même devenu membre à vie du très prestigieux 200MPH Club, grâce à son Hot Rod durant la Speed Week
de Bonneville.
Du Nouveau-Monde à l’Ancien Continent, il n’y a qu’un océan à franchir que Bruce traversera allègrement
pour dispenser ses connaissances à Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille.
A renowned collector of historic winning race cars from Le Mans to Indy to Bonneville, Bruce has won multiple awards at
Pebble Beach and other Concours from coast to coast. From Duesenbergs to Dragsters, from Cobras to Corvettes, from Indians
to Indy cars, the best are represented in his stunning collection.
His passion, along with an extensive automotive knowledge, led him to serve in numerous museums boards and to receive a host
of awards such as the Meguiar’s Award for the Collector Car Person of the Year, the Automotive Icon Award by the Petersen
Automotive Museum of which he was the first Chairman, the Lee Iacocca Award for his dedication to American automotive
tradition, as well as The Grand National Roadster Show Hall of Fame for his tireless work and promotion of historic hot
rodding.
He began his collection in 1964 with a 300SL Gullwing and has had extensive experience driving the best of the best
worldwide. He has participated in the historic Italian Mille Miglia, the French Tour Auto, the English Goodwood Festival of
Speed as well as all the important US rallies from the Colorado Grand to the Arizona Copperstate. He races his own hot rod
at Bonneville where he became a lifetime member of the prestigious 200 MPH Club.
From the New World to the Old Continent, there is only one ocean that Bruce will cross cheerfully to provide his knowledge to
