情報アクセス分野の第一線で活躍している研究者を招
聘し、分野の基礎から最新動向までを３日間で学べる
サマースクールを開催致します。今回はその第1弾と
して、主に情報検索やウェブ検索に焦点を当てると共
に、クラウドソーシングやE-Discoveryなど近年重要
性が増しているトピックも講義します。アジア圏の大
学、研究機関、企業に在籍する学生や若手研究者が主
な対象ですが、情報アクセス分野の知識をブラッシュ
アップしたいベテラン研究者の参加も大歓迎です。講
義は全て英語で行われますが、質疑応答では座長がサ
ポートします。参加者によるポスター発表会も行いま
す。

We’re pleased to announce a 3-day summer school
to learn the foundation and advanced topics in
Information Access from the world-class
researchers. As the 1st ASSIA, we focus on
Information Retrieval (IR) and Web Search, but
also include recent topics such as E-Discovery and
Crowdsourcing. The main audience is research
students, young faculties and researchers in Asian
countries but experienced members are also
welcome to brush up relevant knowledge. Lectures
are given in English support by session chairs
during discussions. We also plan to have Poster
presentation session during the summer school.
