Under the theme “The World’s Test Market for Entrepreneurship: Tohoku” these students will be spending two weeks in Japan mainly to (a) conduct volunteer work in Fukushima and Onagawa and (b) work with eight entrepreneurs and companies in Tohoku to help them grow their business including overseas. The students (one Japanese and 42 non-Japanese students) will be sharing what they learned through these experiences with members of the ARK HILLS CLUB and the Harvard Business School Alumni Club on the last day of their stay in Japan. This so-called Capstone session will be facilitated by Professor Takeuchi in English on January 13 from 15:00 to 17:00 at the club room. This Capstone session will consist of two parts. The first half will consist of a two-minute presentation by each of the 43 HBS students on their personal reflections of the 2017 Japan Immersive Field Course. The second half will be an interactive Q&A session where Members of the ARK HILLS CLUB and the HBS Alumni Club will be invited to engage in a dialogue with the students.
