以下の英文を和訳せよ。
1. Great Britain emerged triumphant but exhausted from the ordeal of
the Second World War. Hitler was dead, and Germany, broken and
defeated, lay at the mercy of the victorious Allied Powers. That the
victory was dearly bought was quickly apparent.
2. There are some people who maintain that Robinson Crusoe is not a
very real character, and that it is in his adventures rather than in
himself that we are interested.
3. There is no doubt that adults, and even highly educated adults, vary
greatly in the speed and efficiency of their reading.
4. All of us speak at least one language with fluency. Speaking and
understanding our first language seems to be such a natural process
that we hardly notice its complexities.

“The trouble with old-fashioned computer was that they never did
what you told them to do. The trouble with modern computer is that
they do precisely what you tell them to do, and not what you meant to
