以下は、欧州の自動車メーカーが、2008年春以降に欧州市場で発売した新型乗用車の、主要装備の設定概要であ
る。
走行安定性装備で、車速感応型パワーステアリングや連続可変ダンピングコントロールの採用が拡大している。視認
性確保で、走行状況に応じて多様な配光から最適な配光を選択する、ヘッドライトシステムの採用も始まっている。

ンカーやステアリング操作に応じて進行方向内側の路面を照らす cornering light function, 前から接近して来
る車との距離に応じてヘッドライトの照射範囲を調整する Adaptive High Beam Assist 等の機能を持つ。
6.Pre-Safe は、高速走行時の緊急ブレーキやステアリングの急な動き等により、危険な状況を予測し、事故が起こ
る前に、シートベルトを巻き取る、サイドウインドウを自動的に閉める、等の予防的措置を実施する。
7.Active bonnet は、フロントバンパーに設置したセンサーが衝突を検知すると、ボンネットを 50mm 持ち上げて、
エンジンとの隙間を拡大し、歩行者の頭部が衝突した場合に、その傷害リスクを軽減する。
8.Adaptive brake light は、30mph 以上で走行中に、ドライバーが強くブレーキを踏み込むと、ブレーキランプを
自動点滅させ、後続車に危険を知らせる。後続車のいち早い対応を促すことで、追突等を防ぐ。
9.Attention assist は、ステアリング操作を中心とするドライバーの行動を絶えず分析し、居眠りの兆候がないか
監視する。兆候を検知すると、光と音で警告する。
10.PARKTRONIC は、駐車時に、前後バンパーに設置した超音波センサーで障害物を感知して、接近状況をイン
ジケーターとアラーム音で知らせ、運転操作をサポートする。Advanced parking guidance は、22mph 以下の
走行時に、付近をスキャンして車両より 1.8m 以上長い駐車可能スペースを識別し、駐車のためのステアリング
操作をガイドする。
11.Blind spot assist は、18～155mph で走行中、ブラインドスポットに他車が入ると、検知した側のドアミラーに警
告マークを表示する。ドライバーがそれを無視して車線を変更しようとすると、警告音を発する。
12.Lane keeping assist は、ドライバーが無意識に車線を逸脱すると、ステアリングホイールを振動させて、注意を
喚起する。意図的な車線変更の場合には、システムが区別するため、警告を発しない。
13.Night views assist plus は、夜間走行時に、前方からの光に惑わされずに、前方の状況を容易に確認できる。
赤外線ライトと赤外線カメラにより、前方の物体を認識し、中央コンソールの画面に画像を表示する。歩行者に注
意を喚起するハイライト機能付き。09年末より搭載予定。
14.Dynamic multi-contour seats は、操舵角、加速度、走行速度に応じて、シートのサイドボルスターの空気圧が
自動的に変化し、前席乗員に最適なサポートを提供する。背もたれは、マッサージ機能を備える。
VW：SciroccoとGolfに Adaptive chassis control、Audi Q5とA5に Lane assistを設定
VW は、道路状況や走行スタイルに合わせてダンパーの減衰力等を制御する Adaptive chassis control を
Scirocco に標準装備、Golf にもオプション設定した。Golf には、アイドリングストップシステムの Start/stop
function を一部仕様に標準装備し、縦列駐車のハンドル操作を自動化する Park Assist system をオプション設定
した。

3.Polo は、5代目。4代目より全長・全幅とも約 30mm 大きく、安全性・快適性も向上させた。
4.SEAT Exeo は、5人乗りセダンの新モデル。Audi A4 の旧モデルをベースとしているが、サスペンションとエンジ
ンは変更。
5.Adaptive chassis control は、ダンパーの減衰力や電動パワーステアリングの特性を、道路状況や走行スタイ
ルに合わせて、瞬時にコントロールするサスペンションシステム。日常走行に適した Normal、快適な乗り心地を
維持する Comfort、俊敏性を高める Sport の 3種類のモードを選択可能。
6.Tyre pressure (Flat tyre) indicator は、タイヤの空気圧の変化が生じた場合、Multifunction display に警告
マークを表示し、注意を喚起する。
7.Front fog lights with static cornering function は、低速でカーブを曲がる時に、ウインカーと連動して fog
light が点灯。交差点での歩行者の確認が行いやすく、また歩行者側にも注意を促す。ロービームの際、時速
40km以下で作動。
8.Rear seat side airbag system は、後席のサイドエアバッグに加え、後席乗員がシートベルトを着用していない
場合、警告マークを表示して、ドライバーに通知する。
9.Parking sensor - front and rear は、フロント、リアバンパー付近の障害物を感知すると、警告音と表示でドライ
バーの注意を喚起する。
10.Park Assist system は、縦列駐車する際、フロントとリアの超音波センサーにより、ステアリング操作を自動で行
う。19mph 以下の低速走行で適切なスペースの前を通過すると、ドライバーがシフトを R にした後は、自動でス
テアリング操作を行い、ドライバーはアクセル/クラッチ/ブレーキ操作のみを行う。
11.Optical Parking Display は、Parking sensor によって障害物を感知すると、車両と障害物との距離・位置関係
を、わかりやすいイラストでオーディオ・ディスプレイに表示する。
12.Heat insulated rear tinted windows は、B ピラーから後の窓で、車室に入る光線を 65% カットする tinted
glass を使用。車室の気温上昇を抑制するとともに、外観をスポーティにした。
13.Multifunction computer は、外気温、平均燃費、現行燃費、平均時速、次回給油までの走行可能距離等、走
行に役立つ情報を表示する。MT車の場合は、燃費を最適にするためのギヤチェンジの推奨タイミングも表示す
る。
14.Multi Device Interface により、iPod や USB ケーブルの接続および再生が可能。曲名の表示・選択は、車両
のラジオ・システムによって行う。
Audi ブランドでは、Q5 と A5 Cabriolet に、斜め後方のブラインドスポットをモニターする Audi side assist や、車
線逸脱を警告する Audi lane assist をオプション設定した。

9.Electromechanical parking brake は、ボタンで操作できるパーキング・ブレーキ。
10.Audi side assist は、車線変更支援システムで、リヤバンパーに装着したレーダーセンサーにより、車両斜め後
方のブラインドスポットに他車が入るか急速に接近しているのを感知すると、ドアミラーの警告灯を点灯する。
11.Audi lane assist は、フロントガラス上方に装着したカメラで前方の道路をモニターし、意図的にではなく車両が

9.Drive dynamic control は、ドライバーの好みに応じて走行スタイルを自由に切り替える。コンフォート, ノーマ
ル, スポーツ, スポーツ・プラスの、いずれかのモードを選択すると、サスペンション設定、ATのシフト・タイミン
グ、パワー・ステアリングのアシスト量、DSC の設定が連動して調整される。
10.Adaptive drive は、Active Stabilizer と無段階の Electronic Damper Control (EDC) を組み合わせ、あらゆ
る速度でダイナミックな走りと快適な乗り心地を可能にする。SPORT ボタンを押すと、サスペンションの設定をス
ポーティにすることも可能。
11.Dynamic damping control は、車の走行速度と加速度、ボディの動きを絶えず解析し、そのデータを 0.0025

12.Integral active steering は、前輪の切れ角を車速に応じて可変制御する Active steering に、後輪のステアリ
ング機能を組み合わせた新開発のシステム。中低速域ではステアリング操作に対する前輪の切れ角が大きくな
り、後輪は前輪に対して反対方向に操舵されるため、最小回転半径はより小さくなり、俊敏性を発揮する。高速
域ではステアリング操作に対する前輪の切れ角が小さくなり、後輪が前輪と同方向に操舵されることで、走行安
定性を向上。
13.Side view camera は、フロントバンパーに装着した 2つのカメラが捉えた映像を、コントロールディスプレイに表
示し、見通しの悪い路地や駐車場の出口等での視認性を高める。
14.Lane departure warning system は、ルームミラーとフロントガラスの間に設置したカメラで、車線表示と車両と
の位置関係等をモニター。意図せず車線から逸脱すると、ステアリング・ホイールを振動させてドライバーに知ら

援する。時速 70～150km で走行中に作動し、速度に応じて危険となる車間距離を検知して、警告マークを表
示する。
9.Automatic electric parking brake は、車両を発進させるとハンドブレーキが自動的に解除され、エンジンを切

3.Cruise control with speed limiter は、上限速度を設定できる機能があり、cruise control を作動すると速度計
のディスプレイに緑のアーチが表示され、speed limiter を作動するとアーチが白色に変わり、上限速度を超え
ると赤色に変わる。
4.All mode 4x4-i は、日産が X-TRAIL で開発した。ETC (電動トルクコントロール) 付 4WD システムが、路面
状況によってトルクを自動的に前後配分する。ドライ状況では 100% 前輪に、グリップ力が落ちるにつれ自動的
に 50% まで後輪にも分配する。泥, 砂, 雪など路面抵抗が低い状況下では、前後に均等配分する 4WD ロック
が可能。
5.Hill descent control は、4WD LOCK モードを選択中、下り坂に差し掛かった時にボタンを押すと、時速 7km
に維持する。ブレーキを踏む必要がなく、ハンドル操作に集中できる。

5.FlexRide は、continuous damping control により、ダンパーを最適制御する。Sport, Tour, Normal の 3種の
設定を選択できる。

10.City Safety は、渋滞時や交差点で発生する時速 19マイルまでの低速走行時の追突を未然に回避、または追
突ダメージを軽減する。レーザーセンサーで、約 6m 先の前方車両の走行状態をモニターし、追突の危険性を
感知すると、ブレーキをプレチャージする。ドライバーがブレーキを踏まないと、自動的にブレーキをかけ、同時
にエンジン出力を抑制する。
11.Pre-prepared Restraints は、レーザーセンサーで前方車両をモニターし、衝突の危険を察知すると、エアバッ
クやロードリミッター付シートベルトを事前に作動準備し、衝突の被害を軽減する。
12.Blind spot information system は、ドアミラーに設置したデジタルカメラが車両斜め後方の死角をカバーし、死
角に車やバイクが入ると、ドアパネルの警告灯が点滅して注意喚起する。
13.Lane departure warning は、40mph 以上で走行中、デジタルカメラで白線と車両の位置をモニターし、車両が
車線を離れると、警告音を発する。方向指示器を出して意図的に白線を横切る場合は、警告しない。
14.Driver alert control は、疲労したドライバーに注意を喚起するシステムで、40mph 以上で走行中、道路状況
やステアリング操作等から、通常の運転スタイルとは異なると判断すると、警告音を発する。
