A Web HUB létrehozása: Ennek végrehajtása két részben zajlott – Content Management System és a Web Conferencing system. Mindkét részt teszteltük és használtuk a projekt alatt az installálás után több találkozó alkalmával. Interaktív elıadáshoz való felhasználást tervezünk. A hub-ról részletes információ a mellékelt „Web Hub reportban” található. 2. Az elsı workshop elıkészülete: Az elsı workshopot információcserével készítettük elı a partnerek korábbi tapasztalatai és kutatásai alapján. Az elıkészítés keretében a Johanneum kutatói tettek látogatást a Pannon Egyetemen 2012. július 8-án. Az elıkészítı megbeszélés jegyzeteit szintén mellékeljük. Az elıkészítés második szakasza a web hub felépítéséhez tartozott (lásd. fentebb). 3. Workshop 1. A második workshopot Kapfenbergben tartottuk 2012. október 2-án és 3-án. Ennek keretében a partnerek kutatási/oktatói érdeklıdésüket vázolták fel egymásnak, bemutatásra került a Web-hub, valamint az FP7-PEOPLE-2013-ITN felhívásra beadott pályázati anyag véglegesítése, pályázati anyag elıkészítése az FP7-PEOPLE-2013-IRSES felhívásra. Ennek részletes bemutatását szintén mellékeljük. 4. Follow-up Workshop 1. A web hub tesztelésével egy idıben számos kutatási és oktatói témát határoztunk meg, melyek a következık: • Regional energy supply integrating renewables Combined Heat and Power generation considering footprints WWTP (Waste Water Treatment Plants) – achieving neutral ot net positive energy balance WWTP with added substrates from additional organic waste – in this way they can be turned into comprehensive WTE processors, in a way reverse biorefineries (“Energy Knots”) 5. A második workshop elıkészítése: A második workshopot is két szakaszban készítettük elı. Elıször az FP7-PEOPLE-2013-ITN felhívásra küldtünk be közös pályázatot 12 partner részvételével. A pályázat címe „Industrial & urban smart technologies for sustainable integrated energy, waste and resources management”. A teljes pályázati anyagot is mellékeljük. 6. második workshop: A második workshop két napos volt Veszprémben, melynek keretében elıadásokat tartottunk. A Pannon Egyetem és az FH Joanneum kutatóin kívül három fontos intézmény – National Technical University „Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (Ukrajna) és a University of Zagreb (Horvátország) kutatói is részt vettek. A következı témájú elıadások szerepeltek: Introduction to planning of energy systems with high share of renewable energy sources (1 lecture) • Alternative energy for cooling in the Adriatic region (1 elıadás) • Fundamentals of Process Integration – 7 elıadás web hub • Grid simulation for water/gas/heat/power • A presentation of demonstration results for use and integration of renewable energy resources in the city of Hartberg – Austria • Compressed Air Energy Storage A web hub jövıbeni felhasználását is tárgyaltuk illetve a Pannon Egyetem és az FH Joanneum közti együttmőködés folytatását. Elhatároztuk, hogy a bemutatott elıadásokat feltöltjük oktatóanyagként a web hubra a regisztrált felhasználók részére, valamint elérhetıvé tesszük a két intézmény érdeklıdı hallgatói részére illetve harmadik partner hallgatói részére, amennyiben beiratkoznak a Pannon Egyetem vagy az FH Joanneum valamelyik szakára. A workshop programja szintén külön mellékletben található. 7. A második workshop Follow-up: A második workshop utána megbeszélésre 2013. március 14-én került sor. A vendéglátó Mr. Uwe Tratting volt a Joanneumnál, a Pannon Egyetem részérıl Dr. Petar Varbanov és Ujvári Orsolya vettek részt. Megegyeztünk, hogy az elızı szakaszokban meghatározott kutatási témákkal pályázni fogunk. A lehetıségek között szerepel a Horizon 2020 címő EU-s keretprogramban és kétoldalú pályázatok. A nyugatbalkáni térség számára 2013 ıszén kiírásra kerülı NATO tudományos program lehetséges pályázat lehet. Publikációs jegyzék: Publikáció: További kérdések az eredményekkel kapcsolatban: 1. Az eredmények felhasználása és disszeminációja: A legfontosabb eredmények a következık: • Ígéretes kapcsolat kiépítése a Pannon Egyetem és az FH Joanneum között számos európai partnerrel kutatási és oktatási területen az energia,-víz ellátás és kezelés területén, ezeket a területeket a „4-es Follow-up Workshop 1”-ben határoztuk meg. • Tudás átadás alapú hub létrehozása és sikeres tesztelése a Pannon Egyetem – leírás az „1. Web Hub létrehozása pontban” 2. Végrehajtás Mindkét intézmény kutatóinak a tapasztalatának köszönhetıen, nem volt szükség meghatározó változásokra a projektben. Minden feladatot a terv szerint teljesítettünk. 3. Értékelés Mindkét workshop sikeresen zajlott, és pozitív visszajelzéseket kapott a résztvevıktıl. A létrehozott WEB hubot használni fogjuk mind az oktatásban, mind a kutatásban annak érdekében, hogy csökkentsük a költségeket és a felesleges utazásokat. A hubból még mindig hiányzik egy fontos tényezı, nevezetesen az interaktív felület, amely lehetıvé teszi a távoli hallgatók számára, hogy interaktívan hajthassák végre a feladatokat a tudásuk elmélyítése érdekében. Ez a felület azonban komoly fejlesztést igényel, amelyhez forrást keresünk együttmőködési pályázatokkal a partnerhálózatunk által. 4. További kilátások A Pannon Egyetem és a 12 partnerintézmény a jövıben is ápolni kívánja a kapcsolatot, fejleszteni a web hubot, annak érdekében, hogy az mind a kutatást, mind az oktatást teljes körően kiszolgálja. Az ehhez szükséges anyagi forrást támogatásokból szeretnénk elıteremteni. In terms of particular tasks: 1. Building the Web HUB. It has been installed as planned and consists of two parts – a Content Management System and a Web Conferencing system. Both components have been tested and used for the project activities after the installation – including several meetings. A use for an interactive lecture is planned. A detailed information about the hub is given in the attached document „Web Hub report.pdf”. 2. Preparation of Workshop 1. Workshop 1 has been prepared by a thorough exchange of information between the partners about their previous activities, as well as their research and teaching interests. Part of this preparation has been the visit of the colleagues from FHJoanneum to University of Pannonia on 18/07/2012. The minutes from the preparatory meeting are attached (meeting_18_July_2012_FHJ.pdf). The second stage of preparation has been the building of the web hub reported above. 3. Workshop 1. Workshop 1 has been held on 02-03/10/2012 at the premises of FH Joanneum in Kapfenberg, Austria. It consisted of a discussion on research/teaching areas of interest to the partners, report on the Web-hub, discussion about final submission of a proposal to the FP7-PEOPLE-2013-ITN call, discussion about and preparation of a proposal to the FP7-PEOPLE-2013-IRSES call and making of a decision which of the calls to apply for. A complete set of minutes is provided as a separate attachment (HU-ATWorkshop_minutes_20121005.pdf). 4. Follow-up of Workshop 1. A number of complementary topics for research and teaching have been identified while at the same time testing the hub. The topics include: Regional energy supply integrating renewables Combined Heat and Power generation considering footprints WWTP (Waste Water Treatment Plants) – achieving neutral ot net positive energy balance WWTP with added substrates from additional organic waste – in this way they can be turned into comprehensive WTE processors, in a way reverse biorefineries (“Energy Knots”) 5. Preparation of Workshop 2. Workshop 2 has been prepared at two stages. Firstly, a joint proposal to the FP7 call FP7-PEOPLE-2013-ITN has been submitted with participation of total 12 partners. The proposal title is „Industrial & urban smart technologies for sustainable integrated energy, waste and resources management”. The full submitted proposal is provided as a separate attachment (SmartRes_ITN 2013 - Part B.pdf). 6. Workshop 2. The second workshop has been held in Veszprém, Hungary during two days: 7-8 March 2013. The programme included a cycle of lectures planned to be offered via the hub as initial teaching materials. Beside the project partners University of Pannonia and FH Joanneum, also participants from three more institutions have been attracted - National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” – Ukraine as well as the University of Zagreb. The topics discussed in the lectures are: • Introduction to planning of energy systems with high share of renewable energy sources (1 lecture) • Alternative energy for cooling in the Adriatic region (1 lecture) • Fundamentals of Process Integration – a cycle of 7 lectures • Grid simulation for water/gas/heat/power • A presentation of demonstration results for use and integration of renewable energy resources in the city of Hartberg – Austria • Compressed Air Energy Storage There have been two discussions concerning the future of the web hub and the continuation of the collaboration between the University of Pannonia and FH Joanneum. Regarding the first issue, it has been decided to upload the presented lectures as teaching materials available for users registered to the hub and to offer the materials to interested students from both partner organisations as well as to students from third parties, based on official enrolment in University of Pannonia and FH Joanneum as well as potential further partner agreements for knowledge management cooperation. The complete workshop programme is provided as a separate attachment (AT_83öu25 workshop and DISKNET Training Course_Programme_v_004). 7. Follow-up of Workshop 2. The meeting has been made on 14/03/2013. It has been hosted by Mr Uwe Tratting at FH Joanneum. Dr Petar Varbanov and Mrs Orsolya Ujvari from the University of Pannonia have visited FH Joanneum in Kapfenberg. It has been discussed that the research topics identified during the previous tasks will be further pursued in project applications. The funding opportunities to investigate include the new EU framework programme Horizon 2020 as well as the bilateral funding sources.
