エールフランス航空およびＫＬＭオランダ航空日本支社、東日本大震災の被災地の復興に向けて、
昨年に引き続き、20,000 本の植樹プロジェクト【寂光の森】に参加。
10 月 5，6 日、パートナー企業とともに石巻市法音寺、及び西光寺にて第２回目の植樹
エールフランス航空とＫＬＭオランダ航空では東日本
大震災の被災地の復興に向けて、被害を受けた石巻
市およびその沿岸部に 20、000 本の植樹をする、
【寂光の森】プロジェクトに参加、第一回目の植樹は
10 月１４日の日曜日、宮城県石巻市にある法音寺に
て行われました。
エールフランス航空 KLM オランダ航空日本支社長
のリュック・ドゥラプラスは “去年植樹した桜はしっかり
と根付いていました。これからもエールフランス KLM
グループが目指している環境に配慮した CSR 活動に、
長期的な視点で日本支社として取り組んで生きたいと
思います。”、と述べました。
今年は 10 月 5 日、6 日の週末に、ヨーロッパ企業の
アコーホテルズ、エールフランス航空 KLM オランダ航
空の社員が、NPO 法人・いしのまき環境ネットのスタ
ッフや、日本各地から参加したボランティア、地元ボラ
ンティアと共に約 525 本の植樹を行いました。
今回の植樹は、昨年に引き続き石巻市内で、震災時
には高台に位置し被災者の避難場所となった法音寺
に加えて、今年は被害の大きかった地域にある西光
寺でも実施しました。現在も市民がピクニックなどで訪
れることの多い法音寺には昨年の枝垂れ桜に引き続
き、秋には紅葉を楽しめるよう、紅葉を 25 本植えまし
た。また同じ石巻市内で災害時に大きな津波の被害
を受けた西光寺の敷地内にある、犠牲者の鎮魂と復
興への願いを込めたスペース「祈りの杜」にはイヌツ
ゲを 500 本植樹しました。同時に、引き続き苗木を育
てていくための樹木の種子の植え付けを、ビニールハ
ウス内で行いました。
【寂光の森】プロジェクトはインターナショナルホテルチ
ェーン、アコーホテルズの世界的な CSR 活動、
PLANT FOR THE PLANET 植樹プログラムの一環と
して、このプログラムのグローバルアンバサダーであ
る、PUR PROJECT 代表のトリスタン・ルコンテが地元
の NPO 法人と共に立ち上げたプロジェクトです。日本
の復興を祈念し、フランス、タイ、ハイチなど世界中で
19,200 本の植樹を目指しています。
アコーホテルズの日本支社、アコージャパンの呼びか
けに応えて、エールフランス航空 KLM オランダ航空は
2012 年よりこのプロジェクトに参加しています。
エールフランス航空、および KLM オランダ航空では今
後も【寂光の森】プロジェクトへの参加を予定しており
ます。
On October 5 & 6, the Japan Branch of Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, with their
corporate partners in the 20,000-tree Jakko No-Mori project, carried out the second treeplanting to support recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake. This took place at
Ishinomaki’s Houon-ji and Saiko-ji Temples.
To support recovery from the Great East Japan
Earthquake, Air France and KLM are participating
in the Jakko No-Mori project to plant 20,000 trees
in the city and coastal region of Ishinomaki. The
first planting was made on Sunday October 14 at
Houon-ji Temple, Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture.
This year, on the weekend of October 5 & 6, staff
members from the European company Accor
Hotels, Unilever, Air France and KLM joined
members of the Ishinomaki Environmental
Network NPO and volunteers, both local and from
all over Japan, to plant 525 trees.

greenhouses in Ishinomaki’s satellite township of
Monou.

Japan remarked: “The Sakura planted last year
have taken firm root. I want our Japan Branch to
take a long-term view of future Air France and
KLM CSR activities to create the environment we
seek.”
As in the previous year, trees were again planted
at Houon-ji Temple which, built on higher ground,
had served as a refuge for those fleeing the
tsunami. This year, trees were also planted at
Saiko-ji Temple, located within an area that had
been severely damaged. Houon-ji Temple already
attracts many local picnickers, and last year’s
planting of “Weeping Cherry” (Sakura) trees was
supplemented this year with 25 Japanese Maples
for the pleasure given by their autumn colors. The
grounds of Saiko-ji Temple, also in Ishinomaki city,
were devastated by the tsunami, so 500 saplings
of Japanese Holly (llex crenata) were planted
there in the hope that they would form a grove of
trees inviting prayer to comfort and restore the
victims. At the same time, to grow the saplings for
The Jakko No-Mori Project is part of the “Plant
for the Planet” tree-planting program, a worldwide CSR activity of the Accor international hotel
chain. Tristan Lecomte, head of Pur Projet and
Global Ambassador for the entire program,
initiated the project in cooperation with the local
NPO. The aim is not only recovery within Japan
but also to plant 19,200 trees at locations around
the world including France, Thailand and Haiti.
Air France and KLM have been cooperating in
response to calls from Accor Japan, the Japanese
branch of Accor Hotels, since 2012. Air France
and KLM Airlines intend to continue participation in
the Jakko No-Mori Project.
