ＫＬＭオランダ航空、東北被災地の山田町の日蘭青少年交流プログラムに協力。ＫＬＭオランダ航空ではCSR活動の一環として、岩手県下閉伊郡山田町とオランダの姉妹都市、ザイスト市の日蘭青少年交流プログラムでの渡航の全面協力をいたしました。２０１３年1月7日にKLM862便で成田空港を出発した11名の中学生、高校生は空港でエールフランス航空 KLMオランダ航空旅客営業本部長のマーク・アークスフック、ならびにエールフランス航空 KLMオランダ航空成田国際空港支店副支店長の村松安の歓迎を受け、機内見学の後、アムステルダムに飛び発ちました。姉妹都市のザイスト市では、ホームステイ、ザイスト市庁訪問、アムステルダムでは日本人学校および日本大使館訪問などのプログラムに参加、現地の人々との交流を深めて帰国しました。帰国の折にはヨーロッパ有数のハブ空港、スキポール空港の見学がKLMオランダ航空本社スタッフによって行われ、空港内のアムステルダム国立美術館、ビジネスクラスラウンジ等様々な施設を訪れました。彼らの旅の思い出が詰まった旅の写真はメッセージと共に、KLMオランダ航空の日本語フェイスブックサイトに２０１３年2月4日に発表されました。是非ご覧ください。 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines cooperated in a student exchange program between Japan and the Netherlands of the town of Yamada, a disaster area in Tohoku region by the Great East Japan Earthquake. KLM sponsored the students’ tickets between Japan and the Netherlands for the exchange program between Yamada-machi, Shimohei-gun Iwate prefecture and the city of Zeist, sister city of Yamada as one of CSR activities of KLM Japan. On 7 January 2013, 11 junior and high school students were welcomed at Narita International Airport by Mark Arxhoek, Sales Director for Japan, Air France KLM, and Yasushi Muramatsu, Deputy Station Manager for Japan, Air France KLM. Thereafter they were invited into KLM aircraft for observation. They joined several programs such as: staying with local families, and visiting the City Hall in Zeist, and in Amsterdam, visiting the Japanese School and Japanese Embassy, where they strengthened mutual friendship with local people. Upon departing The Netherlands, a tour of Schiphol Airport which is one of the best hub airports in Europe, was organized by KLM staff from KLM headquarters. They visited several aspects of the airport including business class lounge and the Rijksmuseum.
