Membership Rules 2016
Entrance fees and conditions for membership are subject to review by the council of Ballyliffin Golf
Club and should be confirmed should application be successful.
All members must spend a minimum amount per annum on their club swipe card. This is currently set
at €50.00 and is subject to change.
Special Offer:

5-Day Membership:




Membership will be Monday to Friday only excluding Bank Holidays.
Such members may get a handicap at Ballyliffin Golf Club.
Applicants must be proposed and seconded by 2 Full Members of 5 years standing.
Annual membership is subject to Payment of GUI Levy.
5-Day Members:
(a) Will not have voting rights within the club.
(b) Will not have Green fee concessions.
(c) Will have a Swipe card.
(d) May play in weekend opens at visitors’ rates.
(e) Cannot play in Captains /Presidents Prize or on club teams/match play events.
Residency:
Applicants must be permanently resident in the locality for a minimum of 6 months when making an
application for membership under the category ‘Local Member’ as defined by the club.
Proof of permanent residency may be sought and would include:
Utility bills, tax affairs, electoral register and vehicle registration.
