Papers are presented in twelve sessions. We will run two parallel sessions at a time. Each sessions will normally have three papers. Sessions will start sharply at the time previously announced in the programme. Presenters will have up to 20 minutes to present their papers, with another 10 minutes allowed for discussion. The Chair will take care that no paper will exceed the overall time limit of 30 minutes. The Chair will also provide an introductory discussion based upon the presentations. All speakers are heartily invited to read the other papers which are going to be presented in their session and in the other sessions so that they may actively contribute to the general discussion. Each session discussant is kindly asked to provide a five-minute discussion of each single paper that is to be presented in the session in which he/she has accepted to act as discussants. The discussant will normally intervene at the end of each presentation. Then, the Chair is expected to ask the floor for questions and comments and guide the discussion. In all rooms speakers will find a beamer for PowerPoint presentations and a projector for slide presentations. All papers will be uploaded on the EIASM dedicated Website as soon as they are available. We are looking forward to seeing you in Catania this Summer! 5 ACCEPTED PAPERS THAT WILL NOT BE PRESENTED AT THE WORKSHOP Alliances Between Competitors and Consumers Information Paolo Garella and Martin Peitz Emergence and Development of Value Networks Peki Oksanen, Jukka Hallikas, Heli Sissonen Coopetition as a Selective Win-Lose Strategy: Professional Motivations of Regional Logistics Operators Song Dong-Wook 6
