Create a Module

Select Content from the Navigation Bar.
Enter a name in the Add a module… text field.
Press Enter.
Edit Module Properties

Select Content from the Navigation Bar.
Select the desired module from the Table of Contents.
Select New.
Select New Document.
Enter a Title.
Enter the content.
Select Publish (or Save as Draft to hide the topic from students).

Select Content from the Navigation Bar.
Select the desired module from the Table of Contents.
Select the module title to Edit Module Title.
a. Press Enter when finished.
Select the module description to add or edit the Description.
a. Select Update when finished.
Select the restrictions area to Add Restrictions.
a. Add or edit the Start Date.
b. Add or edit the End Date.
c. Add or edit the Due Date.
d. Add or edit Release Conditions.
e. Select Update when finished.
Edit Topic Properties
Course File

Select Content from the Navigation Bar.
Select the desired module from the Table of Contents.
Select New.
Select Add Course Files.
Select the course file from the list.
Select Done.

Upload New File

Select Content from the Navigation Bar.
Select the desired module from the Table of Contents.
Select New.
Select Upload Files.
Select Upload (or use drag and drop).
Select the file to be uploaded.
Select Open.
Select Done.
Add a Link

Select Content from the Navigation Bar.
Select the desired module from the Table of Contents.
Select New.
Select New Link.
Enter a Title.
Enter the URL.
Optional: Select Open in New Window. Note: Students may need
to change pop-up blocker settings to open files in a new window.
Select Create.
Reorder Modules and Topics

Select Content from the Navigation Bar.
Perform one of the following:
a. Select the module you want to move or reorder from the
Table of Contents.
b. Locate the topic you want to move or reorder on the
Table of Contents page.
Select Move Up or Move Down from the module or topic’s context
menu.
Note: You can also reorder modules and topics using drag and
drop. More information can be found here:

Select Content from the Navigation Bar.
Locate the desired topic on the Table of Contents page.
Select Edit Properties from the topic context menu.
Select the topic title to Edit Topic Title.
a. Press Enter when finished.
Select the Publish Status menu.
a. Select Published or Draft.
Select the restrictions area to Add Restrictions.
a. Add or edit the Start Date.
b. Add or edit the End Date.
c. Add or edit the Due Date.
d. Add or edit Release Conditions.
e. Select Update when finished.
Select the Change Completion Method menu.
a. Select Automatic Completion, Manual Completion, or
No Completion Tracking.
Delete a Module

Select Content from the Navigation Bar.
Select the module you want to delete from the Table of Contents.
Select More Actions.
Select Delete Module.
Select Remove everything from Content but keep all
associated files and activities or Delete everything, including
all associated files and activities.
Select Delete.
Delete a Topic

Select Content from the Navigation Bar.
Locate the desired topic on the Table of Contents page.
Select Delete from the topic’s context menu.
Select Remove everything from Content but keep all
associated files and activities or Delete everything, including
all associated files and activities.
Select Delete.
