Resident Of The Month
Cecelia Antelman
Cecelia was born on November 23rd, 1936, on a snowy Thanksgiving
Day in Des Moines, Iowa. She was the third oldest out of 9 children. Her
brothers and sisters were: John, Jim, David, Maxine, Rita, Joe and Mary.
One other sister passed away during the mother’s pregnancy.
She lived in Des Moines, Iowa for many years. Cecelia attended
grade school at St. Anthony’s Catholic School then graduating from Sadel
High School.
After graduating high school, she did a lot of traveling. Through her brother John, she met
the love of her life- a man named Richard whom she married in 1953 and had four lovely boys.
Their names are: Mike (Jan), Pat (Nora), Tim (Carla), and Alan (Monica).
Richard was in the Navy for many years, therefore, Cecelia was able to stay at home to
raise their children until they reached school age. She worked at K-mart on Hubbell doing many
different things when she returned to work.
Cecelia has had many different hobbies throughout the years, including: writing a book
about parents communicating with their children, making ceramic statues, likes to walk and meditate including healing others. Cecelia is a very unique and amazing person, please take the time
to get to know her. She is such a pleasure to be around and we love having her as part of our
family.

Maria’s Activity Corner...
My absolutely favorite month of the year “November”. This is the month to give thanks for
all that we have. Be grateful for the past years and look forward to the many beautiful years that
we have ahead of us. Great memories are created with family and November is the perfect
month to have a gathering and enjoy each others company.
November Fun Facts
This month we will be having a Thanksgiving Church Service with Pastor Glenn from
Cross Point United Methodist Church on Wednesday, November 24th at 7:00pm. On Thursday,
Thanksgiving day, we will be having our yearly family style Thanksgiving lunch during regular
lunch hours. If you have any family members coming to join you please inform Wanda by Tuesday, November 3rd. We will be taking no late reservations so it is imperative that you inform
Wanda as soon as possible.



