for children – RETURN TO THE CHILDHOOD
KOTORSKI FESTIVAL POZORIŠTA ZA DJECU će devetnaesti put otvoriti vrata grada
Kotora djeci i umjetnicima, a time i novom izdanju Internacionalnog festivala KOTOR ART.
Velike ljetnje umjetničke svetkovine u Kotoru započeće najprirodnije, sa djecom.
Pod motom Povratak djetinjstvu ove godine na KOTORSKI FESTIVAL
POZORIŠTA ZA DJECU će, među ostalim, sletjeti Ptice selice, izniknuće Italijanska
bašta u kojoj će jedan Kralj da prisluškuje, sakriće se Ulcinjski gusar, odjekivaće
Vesele flaute i Raspjevane violine, kao i salve dječjeg smjeha. Dođite da Govorimo o
mogućnostima i čitamo Knjigu lutanja, da se mijenjamo na Velikoj trampi i učimo u
Cirkusferi, da guramo Kotorolu i da sanjamo Beskrajne snove, a na kraju da skačemo na
Rock&Roll koncertu za djecu.
Simboličnom predajom ključeva glavnih gradskih vrata djeci i umjetnicima cijeli kotorski
Stari grad će postati prostor djetinjstva: prostor igre, identiteta, mašte i sjećanja. U devet
dana Festivala će se održati pedeset i jedan program na dvadeset lokacija u gradu. Oko
1.000 učesnika (djece, mladih i profesionalaca) iz 13 zemalja će se predstaviti u svim
oblicima umjetničkog stvaralaštva. Glavni program Festivala čine predstave koje govore
tajnim scenskim jezikom poznatim jedino „najnovijim klincima“, bebama i mladima, kao i
svima onima koji su sačuvali djetinjstvo u sebi. Vratimo djeci bar dio onog blaga koje nam
ona neprestano daruju.
THE KOTOR FESTIVAL OF THEATRE FOR CHILDREN opens its gates to
children and artists for the 19th time this year, marking the start of a new edition of the
International KotorArt Festival. The great summer art activities in Kotor will start in the
most natural way – with children.
Under the slogan Return to Childhood, the Migrating Birds will land, the Italian Garden
will grow, where a King will listen, the Ulcinj Pirate will hide, the Merry Flutes and Singing
Violins will echo, in the KOTOR FESTIVAL OF THEATRE FOR CHILDREN this
year, as well as the laughter of children. Come here to Talk about the Opportunities and read
the Book of Wandering, to exchange things at the Great Swap and learn from Cirkusfera,
push Kotorola, and dream Never Ending Dreams, and to skip and dance at the Children’s
Rock&Roll Concert.
After a symbolic handing over of the keys to the town gates to the children and artists,
the whole Old Town of Kotor will become a childhood zone of games, identities, fantasy
and memories. During the nine festival days, fifty-one programmes will take place at
twenty different locations in the town. Around 1,000 participants – children, young
people and professionals – from fourteen different countries will present themselves in
all forms of artistic creation. The main program will consist of plays which use a secret
scenographic language, the one that the “youngest kids”, babies and young people are
familiar with, and also to those of us who have preserved the child within themselves. Let
us return to the children at least some of the treasure they keep giving to us.

Ako je „glavni pozorišni program glava Kotorskog festivala, a prateći njegovo srce“, kako
je ranije rekao glumac i pjesnik Dejan Đonović, onda će to srce i ovog ljeta kucati iz grudi
djece i mladih, a talasi muzike, plesa, glumačkih vještina, likovnih kreacija, video poruka i
cirkuskih podviga zapljuskivaće vas na kotorskim trgovima i ulicama.
Među zidinama starog grada Kotora događaće se XIX Pozorišni festival „đeteta“.
Obradovaće se prvenstveno najmlađi, ali i čitav grad, primorje, cijeli svijet koji se zadesi u
Kotoru tih julskih dana; turisti, slučajni prolaznici, gosti koji baš namjerno planiraju svoje
ljetovanje u to vrijeme, svi koji vole čari kotorskih predvečeri, noći i jutara u tonovima
pozorišta i osmijeha.
Gradske pjace i pjacete biće raznobojne, raspjevane, razigrane... radosne, a trgovi
ispunjeni beskrajnom dječjom maštom. Očekuje nas puno igre, pjesme, plesa, veselog
druženja svih ovih dana, pa se gledamo po cijelom gradu!

If we assume that the “main theatre programme is the head of the Kotor festival, and the
side programme is the heart” as the poet and actor Dejan Djonovic said earlier, then, this
heart will beat this summer from the chests of children and young people, and the waves
of music, dance, acting bravura, art creations, video messages, and circus stunts will flood
the squares and streets of Kotor.
Between the walls of the Old Town of Kotor, the 19th Theatre Festival of the “child” will take
place. The youngest will be the happiest, but the entire city, the seaside, the entire world that
happens to be in Kotor during these July days will be happy as well: tourists, chance passersby,
guests who plan their vacation to be here during the festival, all those who enjoy the spells of
the Kotor evenings, nights and mornings colored with theatre and laughter.
The city piazzas will be full of colours, songs and games …full of joy, and the squares
crowded with the endless imagination of children. Lots of games, dancing, joy, and
friendship is ahead of us in all the days to come, and we’ll be meeting each other all over
town!

Jato ptica žarkih boja slijeće na ulicu. Dotjerujući perje zakrivljenim kljunovima, kljuckaju se i glasno kriješte jedne
na druge, što je karakteristično za čin udvaranja. Iznenada, sasvim rašire krila i bogatstvom svojih boja potpuno nas
zasjene. Vatreno crvena, blještavo žuta, plava i purpurna... More boja se zakovitla u spektakularnom plesu, a zatim,
uz posljednji udar krila, ove izvanredne ptice odlete...
A flock of brightly coloured birds descends on the street. Grooming their feathers with crooked beaks they pick and
screech noisily at each other; a characteristic courtship ritual. Suddenly they fully spread their wings and a wealth
of colours meets our eyes. Blazing reds, glowing yellows, aqua blues and deep purples. A sea of colour whirls in a
spectacular dance, then with one concluding beat of their wings, these extraordinary birds fly away…

doba, rađanje i smrt. Lutanje predstavlja ono što se nalazi između: kako sjeme izrasta u biljku, kako iz oblaka nastaje
kiša, kroz koje sve faze razvoja prolaze živa bića. Lutanje se u ovom slučaju postavlja kao cilj. Ispituje se besciljno
lutanje, pretapanje, dolaženje, odlaženje, traženje, prepuštanje, kroz razne spise, bajke, ali i kroz intimne doživljaje
izvođača.
The dance performance The Book of Wandering uses the synergy of recognizable elements such as human beings,
animals and other unreal creatures, to create the impression of constant change and the blending of scenes and
identities. The metamorphosis it tries to convey is related to the flow of energy, the change of seasons, and the creation and dissolution of life. Wondering is what happens in-between, when seeds grow into plants, clouds become
rain, and all living creatures go through the different phases of life. Wondering is postulated as the main goal. What
is being researched is aimless motion, the blend of identities, entrances, exits, quests, surrenders, to various types
of texts, fairytales, and to the performers’ intimate experience as well.

velikom odgovornošcu i donose pravu odluku! To je onaj trenutak kada napravimo presudan korak koji nas dijeli od
toga da postanemo odrasla osoba... Šta je to prijateljstvo, šta je ljubav, a šta odgovornost? Čim sebi počnete da
postavljate ta pitanja, znači da se u vama već krije jedna odrasla osoba. Ipak, nikada toliko odrasla da joj nestanu
pjege sa nosa ili iz džepa prestane da viri praćka!
The best recipes for mischief were written by Mark Twain through the character of Tom Sawyer, a freckled boy from
the Mississippi River banks. However, in his works on Tom, there are also recipes for building sincere and devoted
friendships, for bold approaches to girls, and of course, for the successful manipulation of adults which can sometimes be very useful! One big and strong motif will surface: the moment when the three boys become the holders of a
secret directly linked to the life of one man, when they face such great responsibility and make the right decision! It
is exactly that one moment when we make that crucial step toward becoming an adult. It will also raise the question
of what is shame, what is love, and what is responsibility? And as soon as you ask yourself that question, it means
that there already is an adult hiding in you but never too old to lose your freckles or not to have a slingshot in your
pockets!

već 1967. godine snimljen je i film. Temom su obuhvaćeni problemi neprihvatanja i sukoba mlade nastavnice u novoj
sredini, odnosa nastavnika i učenika, zanemarivanja djece od strane roditelja, uglavnom oni problemi za koje društvo često misli da ne postoje ili jednostavno ne želi da ih primijeti. Komad, istovremeno prožet i humorom i tugom,
prepun je čudesne muzike i namijenjen tinejdžerskoj publici.
Room 304 is a musical based on the Bel Kaufman novel that, soon after publishing in 1964, became a bestseller,
and by 1967 it was already a film. It deals with the problems of non-acceptance and the conflicts a young teacher
faces in a new environment, relations between teachers and students, parent neglect, mainly the problems society
tends to fail to notice or simply does not want to notice. The play is at the same time humorous and sad, full of amazing music, and targets a teenage audience.

U kratkoj priči Kralj prisluškuje Italo Kalvino opisuje kralja koji u paranoičnom i neprestanom strahu od gubitka vlasti danonoćno sjedi na prijestolu, čuvajući ga. Jedini kontakt sa životom na dvoru su zvuci koji se slivaju u njegove
odaje: koraci slugu, šapati i govorkanja, jutarnje fanfare prilikom podizanja zastave, svečanosti, gradska buka s
druge strane palate, meteži, topot vojničkih konja… On ne vidi odakle oni dolaze, ali je opsjednut njihovim značenjem i sudbinom koju mu donose. Suludo ispitivanje tih mnogobrojnih zvukova prestaje u trenutku kada ga jedan
od njih potpuno očara. Kroz prozor vjetar nosi glas žene koja pjeva, glas čiste ljepote, jedinstven i neponovljiv. Za
kralja je to glas slobode.
In the short story A King Listens, Italo Calvino describes a king who lives in never-ending paranoia about losing his
power. He is sitting on his throne night and day to protect it. His only contact with the outside world are the sounds
coming to the throne form different parts of the palace: the footsteps of the servants, whispers and conversations,
fanfare trumpets at the raising of the flag, ceremonies, the sounds of the city at the outskirts of the palace, riots, the
rumble of cannons, etc. He cannot see their source but is obsessed by interpreting their meaning and the destiny
they are predicting. This paranoia only seems to stop when he hears something that completely enchants him.
Through the window, the wind brings in the singing of a woman, a voice of pure beauty, unique and irreplaceable.
For the king, it is the sound of freedom.

Dr Samoobmanović je mađioničar, vlasnik cirkusa talentovanih čudaka. Tu je Arnoldo, nesrećni snagator, Kauboj Bil
i njegovi svjetski plesači, Rita, njegova pomoćnica za stepovanje, Poli, švedska ptica pjevačica i Klovn Mendi.
Onda kada Mendi pogubi svoje rekvizite, ne prestaje da se sudara sa drugim umjetnicima, i konačno upropasti tačku
rotiranja, a dr Samoobmanović ga protjeruje iz cirkusa. Kako bi se osvetio trupi, klovn u knjizi dr Samoobmanovića
otkriva magične čini kojima se oduzima moć govora. Baca čini na svoje kolege umjetnike, i cio cirkus ostaje nijem.
Da stvari budu gore, kidnapovaće Poli i odnijeti je u Klovnovgrad, gdje će je zatvoriti u kavez kako bi pjevala samo
njemu. U očajanju, cirkuski umjetnici iznalaze antidote i putuju svijetom da pronađu sastojke za njega, povrate svoje
glasove i izbave Poli. Magični cirkus talenata dr. Samoobmanovića osmislila je i realizovala grupa od 13 glumaca
studenata, 15 -18 godina starosti iz četiri škole iz Santa Barbare u Kaliforniji. Produkcija ovog mjuzikla je dio kulturne
razmjene koji sponzoriše program Santa Barbara Sister Cities, Santa Barbara Fondacija, SJL Fondacija, Jurkowitz
Centar u Granada Teatru i drugi velikodušni sponzori.
Dr. Delusion is a Magician and the owner of a circus of talented misfits. There’s Arnoldo the hapless strongman,
Cowboy Bill and his Round the World Dancers, Rita his tap dancing assistant, Polly the Swedish Songbird and Mendy the Clown. When Mendy fails to keep track of his props, keeps bumping into other performers and finally fluffs his
plate spinning act, Dr. Delusion banishes him from the circus. Taking his revenge on the company the clown discovers a magic spell to take away the power of speech in Dr. Delusion’s magic book. He casts it on his fellow performers and renders the circus speechless. To make matters worse, he kidnaps Polly and carries her off to Clowntown
where he keeps her in a cage to sing to him alone. In desperation, the Circus performers find an antidote to the spell
and travel the world to find magic ingredients to restore their voices and rescue Polly. Dr. Delusion’s Magical Talent
Circus was conceived and is performed by a group of 13 talented student actors, dancers and musicians aged 15
-18 from four different high schools in Santa Barbara, California. The musical theatre production is part of a cultural
exchange program sponsored by the Santa Barbara Sister Cities Program, the Santa Barbara Foundation, the SJL
Foundation, the Jurkowitz Center at the Granada Theatre and other generous supporters.

Naša predstava je kompilacija dvije klasične priče, u kojoj tri praseta, zajedničkim snagama i pameću, pobjeđuju
vuka koji želi da ih pojede. U početku, svako prase gradi svoju kuću: prvo malo prase gradi kuću od slame, koju
mu zao vuk lako oduva. Drugo gradi kuću od drveta, koju zli vuk takođe lako uništi. Treće malo prase bira kamen
za svoju kuću, ali nema ni krova, ni vrata. Konačno, oni se udružuju i zajedno grade lijepu kuću. Vuk, međutim, ne
odustaje od lova na svoju željenu večeru. Ali, prasići su pametniji od vuka. Kada ga opeku, on ponižen bježi. Tako
posramljen, vuk smišlja osvetu i okuplja vojsku vukova, zbog čega su tri praseta ponovo u nevolji... Na kraju, bistar
um i dobre namjere trijumfuju.
This play of ours is a composition of two classical tales, in which the three little pigs, through joint force and cleverness, defeat the wolf that wants to eat them. In the beginning the little pigs build houses separately: the first little pig
uses reed for building, but the evil wolf blows it away easily. The second little pig tries to use wood, but it is also easy
for the wolf to destroy. The third little pig builds his house from stone, but it has neither a roof nor a door. Finally they
join forces and build a nice little house. The wolf, however, does not give up, and tries to hunt down his future dinner.
But the little pigs are too smart for the wolf, and the humiliated and scalded wolf runs away. In his shame, the wolf
wants to take vengeance on the little pigs, and so recruits an army of wolves. The little pigs get into big trouble, but
at the end of the story a clear head and good intentions triumph again.

Pink Panter je jedan od najneobičnijih likova našega vremena i jedan od najdužih i najsmješnijih filmskih serijala,
jedna od najljepših ikona crtanog filma i najupečatljivijih melodija ikada komponovanih. Poznat je svima: djecu opčinjava, odrasle intrigira, smješan je i ozbiljan, apsurdan i običan, kičast, ali sa stilom; on je blještavi sjaj bogatstva
i opsjednutosti materijalnim vrjednostima, prljavi sjaj prljavog novca, sjaj onog „još i još...“, koji ljude pretvara u grabljivice i svrake. Kriminal i policija dva su lica istog problema koji govori o ljudskoj pohlepi, nezasitosti i nemoralu.
Pink Panter je lik – alegorija koji uvijek i apsolutno izmiče takvoj bolesnoj ambiciji i sugeriše njen poraz. S druge
strane, Inspektor Kluzo, do blesavosti nesposoban policajac, jedini uspijeva da izađe na kraj sa kriminalcima jer je
čestit i dobronamjeran. Njegovim katastrofičnim i urnebesnim akcijama upravlja neka viša sila (deus ex machina),
uvjeravajući nas da etika (dobrota) mora prethoditi svakoj ljudskoj vještini, aktivnosti i znanju. Da li je ta sila Bog,
optimizam, humor, apsurd, sudbina, sreća ili pravičnost, svejedno je. Bitno je da u nju vjerujemo.
The Pink Panther is one of the most extraordinary characters of our time, and one of the longest and funniest film series,
one of the most beautiful cartoon icons and features one of the most memorable melodies ever composed. Everyone
knows him: he mesmerizes children, intrigues adults, he is both funny and serious, absurd and ordinary, tacky, but
with style; he represents the glitzy glow of wealth and obsession with material things, the dirty glow of dirty money, the
glow of the “more and more…” that turns people in predators and magpies. The criminal and the police are two sides
of the same coin: human greed, insatiability and immorality. The Pink Panther is a character – an allegory that always
and absolutely escapes that kind of sick ambition and suggests its defeat. On the other hand, inspector Clouseau, a
policeman whose incapability borders stupidity, is the only person capable of dealing with criminals, being honest and
benevolent. His catastrophic and hilarious actions are governed by a major force (deus ex machina), and that enhances
our belief that ethics (goodness) must precede each human skill, activity and knowledge. It does not matter if this force
is God, optimism, humour, absurdity, destiny, luck or righteousness. What matters is that we believe in it.

Kao da život ima početak i kraj predstavlja jedinstven primjer sveobuhvatnog pozorišnog stvaralaštva osoba sa intelektualnom ometenošću, budući da se u ovoj inkluzivnoj predstavi, sedmoj po redu u produkciji programa Umjetnost
i inkluzija organizacije Per.Art, pojavljuju ne samo kao izvođači na sceni nego i kao stvaraoci tekstualnog predloška, koreografskih i scenografskih rješenja. Predstava je nastala i u saradnji sa Srpskim narodnim pozorištem, što
takođe predstavlja jedinstven primjer inkluzivne prakse u oblasti kulture i savremenih izvođačkih umjetnosti, kako
u Srbiji tako i u regionu. Grupa okupljena u Per.Art organizaciji od 1999. godine kontinuirano i sistematski istražuje
i objedinjuje teme važne za osobe sa intelektualnom ometenošću i procese inkluzije u oblasti umjetnosti, kulture i
slobodnog vremena. Svojim aktivnostima program utiče na ostvarivanje prava osoba sa intelektualnom ometenošću
na uživanje i stvaranje umjetnosti i aktivno učestvovanje u kulturnom životu društvene zajednice.
As If Life Has a Beginning and an End is a unique example of a versatile theatrical creation of people with intellectual disabilities, given that they appear, in this inclusive show, the seventh such show produced by the Art and Inclusion program of the Per.Art organization, not just as performers, but also as screenwriters, choreographers and
scenographers. The play is made in cooperation with the Serbian National Theatre, which is also a unique example
of inclusive practice in the field of culture and contemporary performance arts, both in Serbia and the region. Ever
since 1999, the group gathered around the Per.Art organization, has continuously and systematically explored and
unified topics of importance for people with intellectual disabilities, and the processes of their inclusion in the field of
art, culture and leisure. Through these activities, they influence the exercise of the rights of people with intellectual
disabilities to enjoy and create art, and their active involvement in the cultural life of their communities.

Uzbudljivo putovanje koje govori o nizu običnih i neobičnih događaja iz Života adolescenata i Životinja. Iskoristivši
motive slavne bajke Braće Grim Bremenski svirači, nastaje originalno djelo, nošeno temeljnom porukom bajke da
saradnjom i razvijanjem imaginacije moŽemo ostvariti i najluđe snove. Dječak Kuna mašta o osnivanju rok benda,
koji će zavladati svijetom muzike. Poslije neuspješne audicije, on sa prijateljima iz škole formira bend. Pojavom talentovane pjevačice, kreću nevolje u grupi. Hoće li se tek oformljen bend VIS ŽIVOTINJE raspasti već na početku
karijere, ili će se članovi ipak prijaviti na lokalno takmičenje i postati slavni? Predstava ni na koji način ne kritikuje
izrabljivanje Životinja i ne edukuje gledaoca kako da se prema njima odnosi. VIS ŽIVOTINJE je prije esej o tome šta
mi ljudi moŽemo naučiti o samima sebi od Životinja, na koji način moŽemo spriječiti kulturalni nestanak Životinja,
koji je gotovo strašniji od njihove tjelesne marginalizacije. Posebnost ove predstave je i upotreba specifične tehnike
glume, koja nastaje iz studije anatomije i kretanja Životinja i omogućava glumcima da svojim tijelima naglašeno,
maštovito i zabavno prenesu publici univerzalnu ideju predstave.
Exciting journey involves the stories of a series of ordinary and unusual events from the lives of adolescents and
animals. The original play is based on the motifs of the famous Brothers Grimm fairy tale The Bremen Musicians,
carrying the same message, that cooperation and the development of imagination can help us make even the craziest dreams come true. The boy Kuna dreams of joining a rock band, and conquering the music scene. After failing
at an audition, he sets up a band with his school friends. A talented lady singer appears, and the troubles for the
band start. Will the newly formed band VIS ZIVOTINJE (ANIMALS) split at the very beginning of its career or will
they apply to the local competition after all and become famous? This play is in no way a criticism of the abuse of
the animals, and it does not educate viewers on how to treat them. THE ANIMALS is more of an essay on what we
as humans can learn about ourselves from the animals, in which way we could prevent the cultural disappearance
of the animals, which is more horrifying than their physical marginalization. What distinguishes this play is also the
application of a specific acting technique, based on studies of the anatomy and the movements of animals, enabling
the actors to convey the universal idea of the play with their bodies, in a pronounced, imaginative and funny way.

Ulcinjski gusar nije priča o tome kako ljubav sve pobjeđuje. Ako čovjek nema volje, snage i hrabrosti da se izbori
za sebe – ljubav uvijek gubi. Ulcinjski gusar je bajka o Aiši, ponosnoj i plemenitoj djevojci koja ne pristaje na manje
od života kakav želi. U jednom davnom vremenu, kad su žene bez izuzetka bile podređene i obespravljene, Aiša
vjeruje da su život i sudbina pitanje ličnog izbora, te da se za sreću treba boriti uprkos svemu i svima. Nažalost, ljudi
prečesto žrtvuju sopstvenu sreću zarad praznog i tjeskobnog života u što većoj udobnosti. Zato je Ulcinjski gusar
bajka. Ne zbog kakvih vila, vještica, krilatih konja i čarolija, već zato što junakinja priče ne pravi kompromise u borbi
za sreću.

The Ulcinj Pirate is not a story about how love conquers everything. If the man has no will, strength and courage to
fight for himself – love always loses. The Ulcinj Pirate is a fairy tale about Aisha, a proud and noble girl who would
not settle for less in her life than she wishes for. In a distant time, when women were, without exception, subordinated and disempowered, Aisha believed that life and destiny were matters of personal choice, and that one needed
to fight for happiness in spite of everything and everyone. Unfortunately, people sacrifice their happiness too often
for the sake of an empty and anxious life that offers greater comfort. That is why the Ulcinj Pirate is a fairy tale. Not
because of some fairies, witches, winged horses and magic, but because the heroine of the story makes no compromises in her struggle for happiness.

Crnogorski bendovi nastupiće sa kompozicijama za djecu – od poznatih dječjih evergrina do hitova sa domaćih
dječjih festivala (Naša radost, Male skale, Zlatna pahulja). Koncert partnerski realizuju Kotorski festival pozorišta za
djecu i NVO Kompas – Centar za informisanje i savjetovanje mladih, u okviru projekta Mnogo buke ni oko čega koji
je podržalo Ministarstvo kulture Crne Gore.
Montenegrin bands will play music for children – starting with famous evergreen songs for children all the way to
hits from local children festivals (Naša radost, Male skale, Zlatna pahulja). The concert is a result of a partnership
between the Kotor Festival of Children’s Theatre and the Kompas NGO – Youth Information and Counseling Centre,
within the Much Ado About Nothing project, supported by the Montenegrin Ministry of Culture.

Likovna radionica je dio likovne škole NVO Art Duga koja već deset godina okuplja veliki broj djece, od predškolskog
uzrasta do pripremnika za upis na likovne škole i akademije. Mnogi od njih danas su uspješni studenti ili diplomirani
slikari. Voditelj radionice je dugogodišnji likovni pedagog Dragan Đurišić. Radioničarsko stvaranje odvijaće se i na
ulicama grada, pa će polaznici dobiti priliku da animiraju prolaznike i prezentuju svoje umijeće. Najbolje predstave
Festivala biće nagrađene njihovim originalnim radovima.
FOTOGRAFSKA RADIONICA

Uzrast: 12+
Svijet fotografije predstaviće Stevan Kordić, umjetnički fotograf iz Kotora, čija se djela prepoznaju po isticanju
čarobne arhitekture grada. Zbog toga će u fokusu fotografske radionice biti cijeli Kotor, a učesnici će naučeno
moći odmah da primijene. Bilježiće najuzbudljivije i najljepše momente tokom Festivala, a svoj cjelokupan rad
prezentovaće na izložbi povodom zatvaranja Festivala.
CIRKUSKA RADIONICA
10.00 h, Pjaca od kina
Uzrast: 7+
Cilj ove radionice jeste prenošenje spoznaje o cirkusu kao forumu i alatki koja omogućava društvene kontakte i premošćuje granice nacionalnosti, starosne dobi, pripadnosti određenoj etici, estetici i profesiji. Voditelji, Milan Manić,
Vladana Erdeg i Ivana Koraksić, članovi su Cirkusfere, nezavisne, savremene cirkuske inicijative iz Beograda. Oni
su mladi artisti koji poznaju vještinu žongliranja, rukovanja objektima, akrobatiku, ekvilibrizam i tehniku klovna, vode
računa o životnoj sredini, aktivno učestvuju u kreiranju svijesti o svejedinstvu živih bića i zalažu se za cirkus u kome
ne učestvuju životinje. Već drugi put su na Kotorskom festivalu!
FILMSKA RADIONICA OD DOKUMENTARNOG KA DRAMSKOM

Prvi put, a skladu sa Konvencijom o pravima djeteta i principom participacije koji priznaje i garantuje pravo djeteta da
izrazi svoje mišljenje u svim stvarima i postupcima koji ga se tiču i da se to njegovo mišljenje uzme u obzir, umjesto
uobičajenih kritičarskih rasprava o predstavama, Festival će staviti akcenat na interakciju i otvaranje prostora za
dijalog sa dječijom i omladinskom publikom. Razgovori će biti organizovani u jutarnjim satima nakon večernjih predstava, a u njima će učestvovati stvaraoci predstave, odabrani gosti, u zavisnosti od teme kojom se predstava bavi,
te članovi Dječijeg žirija i ostali zainteresovani gledaoci. Djeci i mladima će biti omogućeno da javno iznesu svoje
mišljenje, da budu saslušani, da im bude odgovoreno, te da tako utiču i na neke buduće pozorišne produkcije koje
im se obraćaju kao ciljnoj grupi. Moderatorka pozorišnih razgovora je Maja Mrđenović.

The art workshop is a part of the art school belonging to NGO Art Duga which has been gathering for already ten
years a great number of children, from preschoolers to the students preparing for the entrance exams at art schools and academies. Many of them are successful students and graduate artists today. The workshop leader is an
experienced art pedagogue Dragan Đurišić. Workshop creation will be carried out in the town streets as well, so
the participants will have the opportunity to animate the passersby and to present their skill. The best plays of the
Festival will be awarded with their original works.
PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

The world of photography will be presented by Stevan Kordić, an art photographer from Kotor, whose works are
recognized by the highlighting of the charming architecture of the town. For this reason, the focus of the whole workshop will be on the entire town of Kotor, and the participants will be able to apply what they have learned immediately. They will keep the record of the most thrilling and the most beautiful moments during the Festival, and their
complete work will be presented at the exhibition at the closing of the Festival.
CIRCUS WORKSHOP
10.00 h, The Cinema Square
Age: 7+
The aim of this workshop is the transfer of the cognition of the circus as a forum and the tools for facilitating the
social contacts and bridging the borders between nationalities, age differences, ethical, aesthetical and professional affiliations. The leaders, Milan Manić, Vladana Erdeg i Ivana Koraksić, are the members of Cirkusfera, an
independent, contemporary circus initiative from Belgrade. They are young artistes who know the skill of juggling,
acrobatics, equlibrism and the clown technique; they are eco- conscious, participate actively in the creation of the
consciousness of the unity of all living creatures and advocate the circus without animals. This is already their second time at the Kotor Festival!
MOVIE WORKSHOP FROM DOCUMENTARY TO DRAMA
11.00 h, Vida Matjan School of Music

This is an interdisciplinary art workshop of the applied writing for children where the material shot by video camera
beecomes the starting point for the introduction to the contemplation, analysis and connection of life situations into
drama. The leaders of the workshop are Dragan Nikolić, a playwright, a set designer, a documentary director and
a key grip and Jovana Nikolić, a producer.
TALKS ON THEATRE
10.00 h, Cultural Centre
For the first time, in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the participation principle which acknowledges and guarantees the right of a child to express their opinion in all matters and actions which are
concerning them and that this opinion of theirs should be taken into account, instead of usual debates on the plays,
the Festival will emphasize the interaction and the opening of the space for the dialogue with the children and youth
audience. The talks are going to be organized in the morning hours, after the evening performances, and the participants will be the makers of a play, the selected guests according to the topic of a play, as well as the Children Jury
and other interested members of the audience. The children and the young will be enabled to express their opinion in
public, to be heard and replied, in which way they could influence some future theatrical productions which address
them as the target group. The moderator of the talks is Maja Mrđenović.

Djeca i mladi sa smetnjama u razvoju i umjetnost
Šest decenija Gradskog pozorišta
Kotorski festival pozorišta za djecu pridružuje se ove godine kampanji Govorimo o mogućnostima. U saradnji
sa Unicefom Crna Gora, grupa Per.Art iz Novog Sada izvešće inkluzivnu predstavu Kao da život ima početak i
kraj, nakon koje će, uz organizacionu podršku Centra za prava djeteta, biti organizovan okrugli sto Djeca i mladi
sa smetnjama u razvoju i umjetnost, gdje će se govoriti o značaju, konceptu i primjeni inkluzije; o umjetnosti kao
prostoru slobode i generatoru ličnih i društvenih promjena; ulozi institucija kulture u promociji inkluzije; trenutnom
stanju u Crnoj Gori; te dobrim praksama, modelima i strategijama djelovanja u inostranstvu i Srbiji, koji bi mogli
biti primijenjeni i u Crnoj Gori. Ako je neka „zajednica jaka onoliko koliko je jak njen najslabiji član“, cilj okruglog
stola jeste senzibilisanje javnosti o problemima sa kojima se susreće ova posebno osjetljiva grupacija (djeca i
mladi sa smetnjama u razvoju), podsticanje crnogorskih umjetnika da pokrenu projekte u koje će ih uključiti, podsticanje produkcije umjetničkih djela koja bi afirmisala, demistifikovala i stvarala optimističnu sliku o osobama sa
smetnjama u razvoju, stvaranje mogućnosti za njihovo institucionalno umjetničko obrazovanje, razvoj kulturne
politike koja bi dala okvir, smjernice i podršku pojedinačnim inicijativama u ovoj oblasti... Ciljna grupa projekta su
djeca i mladi sa smetnjama u razvoju, njihovi roditelji i pedagozi, tvorci kulturnih zakona i strategija, predstavnici
određenih NVO, studenti, rukovodioci i predavači umjetničkih akademija sa Cetinja, upravnici pozorišta, umjetnici različitih profila, predstavnici medija, kao i sveukupna crnogorska javnost.

Kotor festival of theatre for children and UNICEF Montenegro
This year, Festival is joining the campaign Let’s talk about possibilities. In cooperation with UNICEF Montenegro,
the group Per.Art from Novi Sad will perform the inclusive play As if Life Has a Beginning and an End, after which,
with the organisational support of the Centre for the Child’s Rights, the round table Children and Young People with
Disabilities and Art will be organised, where the following topics will be discussed: the importance, concept and the
application of inclusion; art as a space for freedom and the generator of personal and social changes; the role of
cultural institutions in the promotion of inclusion; the present state in Montenegro; as well as good practice, models
and operational strategies abroad and in Serbia, which could be also applied in Montenegro. If “a community is
as strong as its weakest member“, the aim of this round table is to make the public sensitive to the problems this
particularly vulnerable group is faced with (children and young people with intellectual disabilities), the incitement
of Montenegrin artists to start the projects which will include them, the incitement of the production of such works
which would affirm, demystify and create an optimistic image of the persons with intellectual disabilities, the creation
of the possibility for their institutional artistic education, the development of a cultural policy which would create the
framework, guidelines and the support for individual initiatives in this field...The target group of the project are the
children and young people with intellectual disabilities, their parents, pedagogues, the makers of cultural laws and
strategies, certain NGO representatives, students, directors and lecturers at Cetinje Academy of Arts, theatre managers, artists of various profiles, media representatives, as well as whole Montenegrin public.

Kotorski festival pozorišta za djecu i Gradsko pozorište Podgorica
Gradsko pozorište iz Podgorice u sezoni 2010/2011. obilježava jubilej – šest decenija postojanja i kontinuiranog
rada. Od osnivanja 1951, Gradsko pozorište prešlo je dug razvojni put i brojne transformacije, ali je do danas ostalo
jedino profesionalno pozorište u Crnoj Gori, koje pored večernje scene za odrasle ima i dvije scene za djecu, dramsku i lutkarsku. Do sada je ovo pozorište izvelo 247 premijera, i rad njegovih ansambala pratile su brojne nagrade.
Okrugli sto povodom jubileja Gradskog pozorišta jeste prilika da se izrazi zahvalnost svima onima koji su omogućili
njegovo uspješno trajanje, ali, takođe, obilježavanje jubileja zahtijeva i kritičko vrednovanje postignutog, otvaranje
nekih novih, bitnih pitanja, i stvaranje svijesti o neophodnosti neprekidnih promjena. Na okruglom stolu biće riječi o
razvoju Gradskog pozorišta i njegovoj vezi sa Kotorskim festivalom pozorišta za djecu; o poteškoćama sa kojima
se u radu susreću njegovi poslenici, kao što je nedostatak matične scene. Osim umjetničkog, biće podvučeni i edukativni i društveni značaj, koje bi pozorište za djecu i mlade moralo da ima u svakom društvu, u mnogo većoj mjeri
nego pozorište za odrasle. S obzirom na karakter vremena u kojem živimo, obilježen ogromnom brzinom protoka i
posvemašnjom dostupnošću informacija, što utiče na brže sazrijevanje „novih klinaca“ i njihovo ranije percipiranje
društvenih problema, biće predstavljeni i jasno definisani pozorišni pristupi i vizije, koji karakterišu tendencije pozorišta za djecu i mlade u svjetskim okvirima, sa ciljem pozitivnih promjena i otvaranja novog poglavlja pozorišta za
dječiju i omladinsku publiku u Crnoj Gori.

Topic: The Position, Significance and Perspectives of Children’s and Youth Theatre in Montenegro
In the season 2010/2011 City Theatre in Podgorica celebrates the jubilee- six decades of its establishing and continuous work. Since its founding in 1951, City Theatre has come the long way of development and numerous transformations, but to this day it has remained the only professional theatre in Montenegro, which, besides the main stage
for grown- ups, has got also two children scenes, for drama and puppetry. This theatre has performed 247 premieres
so far, and its troupe’s work has brought numerous awards.
The round table dedicated to the jubilee of City Theatre is also a chance to express gratitude to all those who
made its successful standing possible, but the celebration of the jubilee also requires a critical assessment of what
has been achieved, the posing of some new, important issues and the creation of consciousness of necessity for
permanent changes. The round table will discuss the development of City Theatre and its link with Kotor Festival
of Children’s Theatre; the difficulties its members are faced with in their work, such as the lack of a home scene.
Apart from artistic, the educational and social significance will also be underlined, on a much larger scale than the
theatre for grown- ups. Considering the character of the time we live in, marked by the great flow and free access
to information, which affects the earlier maturation of “new kids“ and their perception of social issues, the theatrical
approaches and visions characterised by the tendencies of children’s and young people theatre within world’s scope will be presented and clearly defined, with the aim of positive changes and the opening of a new chapter in the
children’s and youth theatre in Montenegro.
