and S.S. starting times from February
7. Worship will begin at 10am and
S.S. will begin at 11.30am. This will be
for a trial period of 3 months.
8 FLY & BUILD TO THAILAND
ORPHANAGES
It was a pleasure just before
Christmas to meet 70 volunteers
who came from Australia to assist
with many programs at our ICC
run Orphanages. These orphanages take in babies and children
who have lost their parents or their
mother or father just cannot support
them.
The Volunteers did much
needed concreting, painting, making wardrobes for the children and
generally assisted the staff at the
orphanages. I was amazed that

from one church alone in Victoria
twenty two volunteers came and
did a wonderful professional work.
Seddon is to be congratulated for
its fine workers. Other Victorians,
Queenslanders, Western Australians
and yet others joined them. Young
and old enjoyed the experience of
assisting in many needy areas and in
Thailand we wish to thank them. I am
a member of the ICC Board here and
the Board has been very impressed
the work carried out.
There are always needs like this
in Thailand and we hope that in the
future we may say more volunteers
coming. The Lord loves his little
children at the orphanages and He
has put it into the heart of many to
sacrifice their time and funds to do
this volunteer work and to raise the
money to carry it through.

Be Passionate About It!

‘...I am doing a great work...’ Nehemiah 6:3 NKJV
Nehemiah was passionate about rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls. So
when his enemies tried to sidetrack and discourage him, he answered,
‘...I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down...’ Passion is
the starting point for all achievement. There has never been anyone
who achieved anything of value, who wasn’t passionate about it. It’s
the energy that fuels your dream. The road to success is cluttered
with detours, problems and disappointments. And if you don’t have
the right mindset, your dreams can die there. Indeed, there are days
when the needle on your passion meter will be on empty. On those
days you need to remember that God gave you your dream to begin
with; go back to Him and ask for the strength to keep moving toward
it. The Psalmist wrote, ‘For You will light my lamp; the Lord my God will
enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, by my
God I can leap over a wall.’ (Psalm 18:28-29 NKJV) Who gives you the
power to run and leap? God! But you can’t sit back, fold your arms
and think that He will do it all for you. Between your dream’s inspiration and its manifestation, there’s going to be a lot of perspiration.
As every new parent finds out - it’s much harder having and raising a
baby than conceiving one. But if you have the passion for your dream,
the price tag won’t stop you. You’ll get up every morning, draw on
God’s grace and take one more step in the direction of the thing you
know God put you on this earth to do.

Crkveni odbor donio je zaključak
da drugi dio Bogoslužja s propovijedi
počinje u 11.15 sati, a svi oni koji
uzimaju učešća zamoljeni su za kratka
izlaganja jer propovijed je uvijek
imala središnje mjesto pa želimo da
se tako i nastavi. Slično se potrudimo
u u Subotnjoj školi jer duža izlagaja
poput malih propovijedi (15 do 20
minuta) ne uklapaju se u jutarnji
dio programa.

PROGRAM
What is CHIP?
The Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP) a lifestyle
enrichment program designed
to reduce disease risk factors
through the adoption of better
health habits and appropriate
lifestyle modifications. The goal is to
lower blood cholesterol, hypertension, and blood sugar levels and
reduce excess weight. This is done
by improving dietary choices, enhancing daily exercise, increasing
support systems and decreasing
stress, thus aiding in preventing and
reversing disease.
Next CHIP Facilitators Training Program, which qualifies you
to conduct CHIP programs in
Australia: The weekend of 18th and
19th of April, starting at 2.30 pm
on Sabbath afternoon and finishing on Sunday at 1.00 pm. Meals
provided.
