to collect in one place all information about relevant companies in the woodworking
industry that have already achieved significant results in export performance. Bosnia and
Herzegovina has extensive possibilities for production of wide variety of solid wood furniture
and panel furniture either in sets or individual pieces (living rooms, bedrooms, children
rooms, kitchens, school furniture, office furniture, dining rooms, furniture for lobbies,

Babilon manufactures tailor-made kitchens, sliding and
classic closets, wardrobes, bedroom and children’s
bedroom sets, living room cabinets, bathroom furniture,
furniture for business premises and office furniture as well
as a broad range of specialized non-standard items. The
company uses top quality materials originating from EU
countries in the manufacturing process and sources the
hardware for furniture from manufacturers recognized
within the industry from across Europe.
In der Herstellungsanlage werden maßgeschneiderte
Küchen, klassische Schränke und Gleitschränke,
Ankleider, Schlaf- und Kinderzimmer,
Wohnzimmerkommoden, Badezimmermöbel,
Inneneinrichtungen für Geschäftsräume, Büroausstattung,
sowie eine ganze Reihe von besonderen, nicht
standardisierten Elementen geschaffen. In der
Herstellung werden die besten Stoffe aus EU-Ländern
verwendet und die Beschläge werden von eminenten

Kompanija Boksit a.d. Milići – Sektor Drvoprerada počeo
je sa radom 2010. godine, kada je Kompanija Boksit na
licitaciji kupila preduzeće Šesti avgust Milići.
The Boksit Joint stock co. Milići became operational in
the wood processing sector (Drvoprerada) in 2010 after
the company had purchased the former 6. Avgust Milići
through an auction.
Die Firma Boksit AG Milići – Abteilung Holzbearbeitung
beginnt mit dem Geschäft im Jahr 2010 als die Firma
Boksit während einer Versteigerung die Firma Der
6. Avgust Milići gekauft hat.
Immediately after the purchase, the Boksit began a
process of rehabilitation and reconstruction as well as
the procurement of new equipment. Thus, in addition
to primary processing the company was able to launch
the production of solid floors and parquet as well as the
production of glued solid panels (joined lengthwise or
width wise) and furniture panels. The company launched
the manufacture of solid wood furniture in 2014. Primary
processing at the sawmill is conducted using a timber
cutting line with an annual capacity of 25,000 m³,
steaming and drying chambers for artificial wood drying
and dry wood/board tailoring and rough mill/trimming
and edging line. Manufacture is based predominantly on
the processing of beech, oak and ash, yet other types of
wood can be processed dependant on upon customer
demand.
Sofort danach wurde mit der Sanierung und der
Rekonstruktion der Firma angefangen. Mit Hilfe der
neuen Ausstattung hat es die Firma in der kürzesten Zeit
geschafft, neben der primären Bearbeitung (eine Linie für
den Durchschlitz der Baumstämme der Kapazität 25.000
m³ jährlich; Kapazitäten der Wasserdampfanlage und
der Anlage für die künstliche Trocknung des Bauholzes,
sowie der Trimm- und Einfassungslinie für das Design
des trockenen Bauholzes), mit der Herstellung von
Massivböden und Parketten, sowie der Herstellung von
geleimten Massivplatten (Holzverbindung der Breite
und der Länge-Breite nach) und Möbelelementen
anzufangen. Seit 2014 beginnt die Firma auch mit
der Massivmöbelherstellung. Die Herstellung erfolgt
hauptsächlich auf Grund der Bearbeitung von
Buche, Eiche, Esche oder anderer Holzarten gemäß
Kundenwünschen.
Odmah potom pristupilo se sanaciji i rekonstrukciji, kao
i nabavci nove opreme, tako da je za kratko vrijeme
sektor, pored primarne prerade (linije za prorez trupaca
kapaciteta 25.000 m³ godišnje, parioničkih i kapaciteta za
vještačko sušenje drvene građe i decimirnice za krojenje
suhe građe) pokrenuo i proizvodnju masivnih podova i
parketa, masivnih lijepljenih ploča (širinski i dužinskoširinski spoj), elemenata za namještaj, a od 2014. godine
i proizvodnju namještaja na bazi masiva. Proizvodnja je
zasnovana dominantno na bazi prerade bukve, hrasta,
jasena, ali i drugih vrsta drveta po zahtjevu kupca.
Cilj kompanije, sažet u sloganu Korak ispred..., je da
postane jedan od vodećih drvoprerađivača u regionu, sa
posebnim akcentom na kvalitetu proizvoda.

The company currently has 74 employees and has a
tendency to increase the number of its workforce. Its main
products are various types of beech boards (steamed
and dried) with widths ranging from 25mm to 80mm
and lengths from 0.3 – 0.9m, 1.0 – 2.0m and 2.1m. The
company also manufactures various types of beech
panels used in the production of solid boards, parquet
and furniture parts. The panels are mildly steamed and
dried at a humidity level of 8%. The dimensions are as
follows: 46x46mm, 43x43mm, 46x33mm, 46x28mm,
43x28mm, 46x23mm and 42x23mm with length of 170450mm.

U proizvodni program firme trenutno ulazi paleta drvenih
stolica i stolova sa prepoznatljivim dizajnom i kvalitetom.
Posebnost firme je izrada stolica od punog drveta na bazi
kvalitetnih materijala i domaćih sirovina – hrasta i bukve.

range of wooden chairs and tables distinguished through
their quality and design. The company specializes in
the manufacture of solid wood chairs, using quality and

Bearbeitungsindustrie von Massivholz. Die Mission der

The company’s modern production facilities and high
level of human resources enable the production of
between1,500 and 2,000 chairs per month. These chairs
are exported to the markets of France, Germany, Slovenia
and Macedonia with delivery deadlines from 3 to 4 weeks.
Zur Zeit beinhaltet das Herstellungsprogramm eine
Palette von Holzstühlen und Tischen mit einem
erkennbaren Design und Qualität. Die Besonderheit der
Firma ist die Ausarbeitung von Massivholzstühlen auf
der Basis von qualitativen Stoffen und einheimischen
Rohstoffen – Eiche und Buche.
Die moderne Herstellungsanlage und qualitative
menschliche Potenziale ermöglichen eine
Herstellungskapazität von 1.500 – 2.000 Stühlen im
Monat, die nach Frankreich, Deutschland, Slowenien und
Mazedonien exportiert werden. Die Lieferungsfrist beträgt
zwischen 3-4 Wochen.

godine. Pored proizvodnje namještaja po mjeri za

kreiranje vlastitog brenda pločastog namještaja sljedećih
grupa: kuhinje, spavaće i dječije sobe, ugradni plakari,
TV kompozicije, kancelarijski namještaj, namještaj za
kafiće i hotele, kao i njihova prezentacija u maloprodajnim
objektima firme.
Established in 1983, Imako Joint stock co. Banja Luka has
manufactured composite furniture since 2011. In addition
to the manufacture of tailor made furniture for businesses,
residential and catering facilities, the company is
developing its own brand of tailor made composite
furniture. The latter includes the following categories:
kitchens, bedrooms and children rooms, fitted wall units,
TV furniture sets, office furniture, coffee shop and hotel
furniture displayed in the company’s retail outlets.

The composite furniture portfolio includes a wide range
of attractive products of contemporary design made

manufacture of furniture and furnishings for spaces
intended for various purposes.
Imako AG Banja Luka wurde im Jahr 1983 gegründet.
Seit 2011 beschäftigt sich die Firma mit der Herstellung
von Plattenmöbeln. Neben der maßgefertigten
Möbelherstellung für Geschäfts-, Wohn- und
Speiseräume, hat die Firma mit der Schaffung der
eigenen Plattenmöbelmarke für folgende Möbelgruppen
angefangen: Küchen, Schlaf- und Kinderzimmer,
Einbauschränke, Fernsehen-Sideboards, Büromöbel,
Möbel für Speiseräume und Hotels. Diese werden in den
Einzelhandelsobjekten der Firma ausgestellt.
Do kraja 2014. godine planira se uvesti ISO standard,
proširiti proizvodni pogon, povećati broj zaposlenih i
orijentisati se ka izvozu sopstvenog brenda.

number of employees and direct its activities towards the

Das Programm der Plattenmöbel beinhaltet eine
breite Auswahl an attraktiven Modellen mit einem
modernen Design, wettbewerbsfähigen Preisen
und qualitativen Stoffen. Die Herstellung läuft mit
Hilfe moderner Maschinen und unter Anwendung
modernster Technologien und Know-How ab. Es werden
ausgebildete, ehrgeizige Arbeiter mit neuen Ideen
und langjähriger Erfahrung in der Möbelherstellung
und Raumausstattung mit verschiedenen
Verwendungszwecken angestellt.
Die Pläne der Firma beziehen sich darauf, die ISONorm bis zum Ende des Jahres 2014 einzuführen, die
Herstellungsanlage zu erweitern, die Angestelltenanzahl
zu erhöhen und sich stärker dem Export der eigenen
Marke zu widmen.

Osim izrade tapaciranog, komadnog i pločastog
namještaja rađenog po narudžbi od punog drveta MDFa,

panel solid wood furniture, which is custom made. In
addition to wood veneer panels (veneered chipboard), we
also use geflecht as a raw material (eco-friendly wicker
work suitable for painting, modelling and combining
with other materials such as solid wood, MDF, veneered
plywood, glass...).
Minalli furniture is recognised for its unorthodox design,
functionality and the use of high-quality raw materials.

suitable for large-span structures and highly resistant
to earthquake, snow and wind loads. Promo uses prime
quality pine and J/S timber sourced from Bosnian forests
and produced at its own sawmill in the manufacture of
glued laminated timber of large diameters and lengths
that are visually very effective. Promo manufactures
beech veneer and beech veneer molded products
(panels, seats, backrests and chairs) as well as
component parts for furniture. The manufacturing process
ranges from pressing to lacquering, all done at the
company’s modern semi-automatic coating unit. Nearly

Rukotvorine d.o.o. još od 1927. godine proizvode
namještaj poznat kao bosansko-konjički stil. Danas
je nekoliko komada namještaja pod zaštitom države
kao dio bosanskohercegovačke nacionalne kulturne
baštine. Proizvodi i tehnika drvorezbarstva, koji su se
usavršavali kroz četiri generacije drvorezbara, objavljeni
su u UNESCO-voj publikaciji o rijetkim zanatima u Bosni i
Hercegovini. Sada su u toku napori da se konjička tehnika
drvorezbarstva uvrsti na UNESCO-vu listu nematerijalne
kulturne baštine.
The company Rukotvorine Ltd. has been producing
furniture in the style known as the Bosnian-Konjic style
ever since 1927. Today, several pieces of the company’s
furniture are under state protection as part of the
national cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Its furniture and woodcarving techniques, perfected
through four generations of carvers, featured in a
UNESCO publication on rare craftsmanship in Bosnia and
Herzegovina. Currently, efforts are underway to have the
Konjic woodcarving technique included in the UNESCO
intangible cultural heritage list.
Rukotvorine GmbH stellen schon seit 1927 die Möbel,
und zwar in einem als bosnisch-konjicer bekannten Stil
her. Heutzutage stehen einige dieser Möbelstücke unter
dem Schutz des Staates als Bestandteil des bosnichherzegowinischen nationalen Kulturerbes. Die während
der vier Generationen verbesserten Holzschnitzprodukte
und -techniken sind auch in der UNESCO-Publikation
zu seltenen Handwerksberufen in Bosnien-Herzegowina
veröffentlicht worden. Zur Zeit versucht man die für Konjic
typische Holzschnitzarbeit in die UNESCO-Liste des
immateriellen Kulturerbes einzuschließen.

Durch die Zusammenarbeit mit einigen der größten
Talente für professionelles Design am Balkan-Gebiet,
die Anregungen in unserem traditionellen Design finden,
entwickelt Rukotvorine neue Linien charakteristischer und

čuvenom MOW sajmu koji se održava u njemačkom
