The course is designed to help pathologists:
Update current knowledge of pathology of special subtype tumors of the
Breast with particular attention to Immunohistochemistry in differential
diagnosis.
Review pathological features of Columnar cell lesions, Papillary and
Fibroepithelial tumors of the Breast.
Describe criteria for diagnosis in Core Needle Biopsy in order to compare
different entities which may pose relevant difficulties in today’s practice.
Utilize practical slide seminar sessions to discuss and compare
morphological criteria applied to Diagnostic Breast Pathology.
