The Sewerage System Symposium on Countermeasures against Earthquake is one of the activities which aim to communicate information about earthquakes from the stricken area of Kobe to other countries and related administrative bodies. This symposium aims to be useful for future safe urban planning by introducing the damage and the process of restoration and reconstruction of the sewer system based on our experiences in the earthquake.
