ショッピングの中心地パリ
パリは年 2900 万人の観光客がおとずれる世界有数の観光都市です。そして 60％の人々
が、ショッピングを旅行のおもな目的としてあげています。ヨーロッパにおける商業、
モード、クリエーションの中心地であるパリには、17 000 の商店があり、プレタポルテ
のショップだけでも 5 500 を数えます。デパート、立ちよらずにはいられない伝統の高
級ブランド、有名な商業地区が、1 年 365 日を通じてパリならではのショッピングの世
界を作り上げているのです...
以前からファッションと高級品の世界では、パリは決してさけて通ることのできないレ
ファレンスでした。世界的な有名ブランドはすべてパリに旗艦店を開いています。ヨー
ロッパの中心部という地理的条件、きわめて質の高い観光インフラと宿泊施設によって、
パリには非常に魅力的な商業ネットワークができあがったのです。パリ市内には、住人
1000 人あたり 29 の店舗があり、世界でも店舗がもっとも多い街の１つなのです。

パリでは毎週のように大胆なデザインの流行のお店が新しく開店しています。有名ブラ
ンドもそのことをわかっていて、パリは大変魅力的なショッピングの街となっているの
です。サンドロ Sandro、ザ・クープルズ The Kooples､マヌーシュ Manoush､クローディ
ー・ピエルロ Claudie Pierlot といったファッションのフレンチサクセスストーリーを体
現するブランドはつぎつぎと新店舗を展開しています。Sandro は 2012 年 9 月にボーマ
ルシェ大通り boulevard Beaumarchais に、 The Kooples Sport はシャンゼリゼに新店舗
を開きました。世界一美しい通りであるシャンゼリゼには、アメリカの有名ジーンズブ
ランドのリーヴァイス Levi's が春にフランスでの旗艦店をオープン、マークス＆スペン
サーMarks & Spencer も昨年リニューアルオープンしました。近くのヴィクトル・ユゴー
大通り avenue Victor Hugo では、女性クリエーターのイザベル・マラン Isabel Maran が
秋に新しい店を開きました。壮麗な邸宅内にある 3 フロアーのお店です。
２つの新しい高級ブティックがパリでオープンします。サン−トノレ通り rue SaintHonoré のバランシアガ Balenciaga とヴァンドーム広場 place Vendôme のルイ・ヴィト
ン Louis Vuitton 初の宝飾品店です。いま流行のクリエーターたちのお店もつぎつぎと開
店しています。ステラ・カデンテ Stella Cadente、マキシム・シモアンス Maxime
Simöens、ジェローム・ドレフュス Jérôme Dreyfuss の新店舗や、パレ・ロワイヤル
Palais-Royal のマーク・ジェイコブスによるキッズ専門店など。イタリアの香水メーカ
ーアクア・ディ・パルマ Acqua di Parma は 2012 年秋に、フラン−ブルジョワ通り rue
des Francs-Bourgeois にフランス第 1 号店を開きました。マレもにぎやかで新店舗の開店
が続いています。アリス・ア・パリ Alice à Paris はキッズ専門店。コンセプトショップ
の Suite341 には、マージュ Maje、サンドロ Sandro、クローディ・ピエルロ Claudie
Pierlot といったブランドが集まっています。たくさんの店が並ぶレンヌ通り rue de
Rennes にも、ブラジルのビーチサンダルの有名ブランド、ハワイアナス Havaïnas のパ
リ第 2 号店、流行の腕時計店アイスウォッチ Ice Watch など新しいお店が開店しました。
サン−ラザール駅に新しくできたショッピングセンターに、日本の無印良品 Muji が旅行
に特化した新しいコンセプトで Muji to Go をオープンしました。

区には、オートクチュール、プレタポルテ、などの高級店がこれでもか、とばかりに並
んでいて、ルイ・ヴィトン Louis Vuitton、ディオール Dior、ヒューゴ・ボス Hugo Boss、
シャネル Chanel、ケンゾーKenzo、ラルフ・ローレン Ralph Lauren などが軒を連ねます。
2012 年にはシャンゼリゼにアメリカからバナナ・リパプリック Banana Republic、リー
ヴァイス Levi's といったブランドが旗艦店をオープン。マークス＆スペンサーMarks &
Spencer は閉店から 10 年を経てフランスに戻ってきました。シャンゼリゼの 100 番地で
婦人服、ランジェリー、食品を販売します。そのほかの新規開店としては、メイクアッ
プのブランド MAC がプロのメイクアップアーティスト約 40 人をそろえたお店をオープ
ンしました（2012 年末）。またアクセサリーのティファニーズ Tiffany's が近いうちに開
店します。それからオリエント風のプリント生地で知られるマヌーシュ Manoush がモン
テーニュ大通りにお店を出しました。

要デパートや新店舗が軒を連ねています。1912 年創業のギャルリー・ラファイエット
Galeries Lafayette は、3 フロアーにわたって最新流行のファッション、有名高級ブラン
ド、メンズの売り場を展開し、5 階はキッズ専用スペースとなります。歴史香るこの建
物の向かいには、装飾用品を専門に扱うラファイエット・メゾン Lafayette Maison が
あり、テーブルアート関連商品、家具、照明器具、タオルなどの布製品がみつかります。
そのすぐ近くにはプランタン Le Printemps が、アレキサンダー・マックイーン
Alexander McQueen、プラダ Prada、ルイ・ヴィトン Louis Vuitton、レッド・ヴァレン
ティノ Red Valentino といった高級品をそろえています。2012 年にプランタン・ドゥ・
ロム Printemps de l'homme の 1 階に高級時計売り場ができ、ベル＆ロス Bell & Ross、ジ
ャガー−ルクルト Jaeger-LeCoultre、ロンジン Longines など、最高級品が売られていま
す。
スクリーブ通り rue Scribe もファッションファンにとって素通りできない場所です。日

流行のファッションが集まるマレ地区 Marais
流行の店、デザインやクリエーターの店が建ち並ぶマレ地区は、アバンギャルドな場所
として知られています。この地区を歩くのは快適ですが、とくにロジエ通り rue des
Rosiers など多くの通りが歩行者専用で、日曜日にはフラン・ブルジョワ通り rue des
Francs-Bourgeois とタンプル通り rue du Temple が車両通行止めになりますから、快適
さがさらに増しています。マレにはコス COS、エロトクリトス Erotokritos、マチエー
ル・ア・レフレクション Matières à réflexion と言ったたくさんのファッション関連のシ
ョップがあります。流行のロックスタイルの衣料品ブランド、ザ・クープルズ The
Kooples はヴォージュ広場 place des Vosges の近くに新しいコンセプトショップ The
Kooples Sport をオープン。その他の新規開店ショップを挙げましょう。Suite.341 はロ
ジエ通り rue des Rosiers にオープンしたコンセプトストア。マージュ Maje、サンドロ
Sandro 、クローディ・ピエルロ Claudie Pierlot のコレクションを扱います。数ヶ月前か
ら、マレ地区にはボディーケアや香水の店がつぎつぎと開店しています。コスメブラン
ド Kiehl's 、メイクアップブランド MAC に続いて、イタリアの香水メーカーアクア・デ
ィ・パルマ Acqua di Parma が 2012 年秋にフランス唯一のショップをフラン−ブルジョワ
通り rue des Francs-Bourgeois に開きました。この通りには、ほかにも Diptyque、ゲラ
ン Guerlain、ジョー・マローン Jo Malone などの香水店があります。
とりわけオーマレ Haut Marais には、ボーマルシェ大通り boulevard Beaumarchais のサ

タポルテの大型店の進出が目立ちます。フェアトレードのコンセプトストアであるメル

ジショップが軒を連ねます。シューズとハンドバッグのクリエーターであるカリン・ア
ラビアン Karine Arabian はこの地区に歴史的な店を開きました。ルフ L’Œuf はファンタ
ジックなアクセサリー、女性服、South Pigalle ブランドの商品を販売しています。2012
年 10 月、眼鏡のクリエーターであるマルク・ル・ビアン Marc Le Bihan とアクセサリー
のクリエーター、ジャン−フランソワ・ミミラ Jean-François Mimilla が共同で新しいシ
ョップをオープン。眼鏡、アクセサリーが販売され、彼らが選んだ衣類を展示する衣装
室も。そこから数百メートル、マドレーヌ Madeleine の近くにあるラ・シェーズ・ロン
グ La Chaise Longue はプレゼントのアイデアを見つけるのにピッタリの店。マルティー

パリではヴィンテージの流行が続いています。セカンドハンドの衣類やアクセサリーを
扱う古着店は宝の山です。カトリックの救済（Secours Catholique 貧困の改善などを目
的に設立された団体）が 2012 年にマレ地区にあたらしい連帯の店（ブティック・ソリデ
ール Boutique Solidaire）を開き、寄付された衣類を再活用しています。エマウス会
association Emmaüs はパリに 7 軒の古着店を開いていますが、もっとも規模の大きい店
舗はシャロンヌ通り rue de Charonne にあります。エチエンヌ−マルセル Étienne-Marcel
のキリワッチ Kiliwatch は、パリで最も有名な古着店のひとつ。その近くにあるエピゾー
ド Episode では、1960-1970 年代のレザーバッグ、アクセサリー、ジャケット、ワンピー
スなど多岐にわたる商品が魅力です。マレ Marais にはほかに Free 'P' Star、Noir

> パリのパサージュの下で
パリには 18 世紀から屋根に覆われ商店が建ち並ぶパサージュ（アーケード）が作られ始
めましたが、多くはそれから 100 年ほどあとに作られ、パリでも重要な 19 世紀の遺産と
なっています。パサージュのほとんどはセーヌ右岸の大通りの近くにあります。建設当
時、この近辺に裕福な人々が集まっていたのです。
建物を貫くかたちでアーケードを作るのが典型的なスタイルですが、建物の建設と同時
に作られたものもあります。パサージュは屋根がガラスなので、上から光が入り、独特
の雰囲気を作り出します。人混みをさけたい、待ち合わせをする、天気を気にせず買い
物をしたい、そんな希望をかなえるパサージュは発展を続けました。
さびれた時期もありましたが、20 世紀にふたたび人気を集め、いまでは約 20 カ所を数
えます。パリジャンからも旅行者からもとても愛されているパサージュにはたくさんの
お店だけでなく、レストラン、アートギャラリー、サロン・ドゥ・テがあり、それぞれ
豊かな個性を主張しています。
