D AV I D W E I C H Vernon, B.C. | [email protected] | 250.515.0404 I have run heavy equipment for the past 20 years in civil construction. Roads, sewers, basements, etc. as well as deconstruction of buildings/homes and other construction duties. I now want to pursue a career in the logging sector. I have always wanted to work in the bush and working for a logging contractor operating a processor, loader/decker, skidder, etc. gives me that opportunity. Working in the construction industry has provided me with operator experience on steep hills, uneven ground and extremely tight areas. Safety is another key component that I bring with me from the construction industry. I am John Deere control proficient and have through this course had the opportunity to learn CAT controls as well. My previous equipment experience is operating rubber and track loaders, rubber and track excavators including articulating attachments, all skid steers and other machines as well. I still have a learning curve to go on logging equipment and I look forward to being fine tuned by, and working with, the right logging contractor for the next 15-20 years.
