カメラの設定
このたびは、COOLPIX P1/P2専用カメラブラケットをお買い上げいただきまして、まこ
とにありがとうございます。フィールドスコープとの組み合わせにより、超望遠でのデジタ
ル写真撮影が可能となります。
＊P（プログラム）
、A（絞り優先）撮影モードにセットします。
オート撮影モードでは設定できない項目があります。
カメラの設定は下記の設定をお勧めします。その他の設定は初期設定のままです。

撮影時のご注意

●フォーカス
シングルフォーカスに設定します。フィールドスコープで仮のピントを合わせ、最終ピント
はカメラのオートフォーカスで行います。
●モード
P（プログラム）またはA（絞り優先）撮影モードにセットします。
●撮影
ケーブルレリーズで行います。静かに押してください。
●カメラのズーム広角側での撮影は、接眼レンズの種類により画面の四隅に影が出ます。MC・MCⅡズーム接
眼レンズを使用の場合は、最望遠側でのご使用をお勧めします。
●AFランプが点灯しにくい時
ケーブルレリーズを半押しにしてAFが動かない状態で、クールピクスの液晶
モニターを見ながら再度フィールドスコープのピントリングでピントを合わせます。

撮影時のご注意
・超望遠での撮影となりますので、三脚は頑丈なものを使用してください。
・比較的像揺れが起こりやすいため、撮影には十分ご注意ください。
・超望遠での撮影となるため、カメラのオートフォーカスではピントが合いにくい場合があります。連写
モードでの複数枚の撮影をお勧めします。

COOLPIX P1あるいはP2のシャッターボタンに滑り止めパッドを貼り付けます。滑り止めパッドの裏紙を
はがして貼り付けます。
カメラのレンズ部を、カメラレンズ部挿入口に差込み、カメラ本体を挿入口に押し付けた状態で、カメラの
三脚ネジ穴にカメラ固定ネジをねじ込んで固定します。
注）カメラ着脱は、カメラの電源を切ってから、おこなってください。
ケーブルレリーズ取付座にケーブルレリーズをねじ込みます。
接眼レンズが16x/24x/30x Wide DSレンズの場合は、ブラケットリングFSBR-3をFSB-3本体に装着し
てください。黒いゴムリング側を本体にパシッと音がするまで押し込みます。
その他のレンズのときは、ブラケットリングFSBR-3は外してください。リングの内側に指を引っ掛けて引
くと外れます。ゴムリングによる抵抗がありますので、外れにくいこともあります。
フィールドスコープに取り付けられた接眼レンズに、接眼レンズ挿入口を合わせて差込み、押しつけながら
固定ネジで固定します。
別売のFSB照準器用ステーFSBS-1が取り付けられます。
運搬時のご注意
・持ち運びや移動の際は、接眼レンズからブラケットを取り外した状態で行なうことをお勧めします。
取り付け方
1： AあるいはBのどちらかの組み合わせで接眼レンズを

グFSBR-3をFSB-3本体に組み込みます。
･黒いゴムリングが本体奥の溝に落ち込み、パシッと音がするま
で、確実に押し込んでください。
･押し込みが不十分なときまたは未装着のときは、条件により画
像の四隅に影が出るようになります。
：その他のレンズのときは、ブラケットリングFSBR-3は外します。
･装着したまま使用したときは、画像の四隅により多くの影が出

P1/P2. Use of your digital camera in combination with a Fieldscope enables you to take
super-telephoto digital pictures.

Camera setting

Setting for shooting
• Focusing
Set for single focusing. Focus first using the controls on the Fieldscope, then make fine
adjustments with the camera's AF function.
• Shooting mode
Set for "P" (Programmed) or "A" (Aperture-Priority) mode.
• Shooting
Use cable release. Depress the cable release gently.
• Camera zoom setting
When shooting with the zoom at the wide-angle setting, shade will appear in the four corners
of the image depending on the type of eyepiece in use, giving it a rounded appearance. We
recommend the use of maximum telephoto setting when MC or MC II Zoom Eyepiece is used.
• When the AF lamp does not turn on
After locking the focus by pressing the shutter release button halfway, set the focus by
adjusting the focus ring on the Fieldscope while viewing the LCD monitor. This turns on the AF
lamp.
Attaching the Fieldscope to the digital camera
Notes for shooting
• Use solid tripod during super-telephoto shooting for steady images.
• Beware of camera shake as small vibrations at high magnification can ruin a photograph.
• With super-telephoto shooting, it may be difficult to obtain a precise focus with the camera’s
AF function. We recommend that you take a series of pictures of the same subject in sequence,
to ensure that you capture the desired image.
1. Remove the sheet from the adhesive side of the non-skid pad, and affix the pad to the shutter
release button of the COOLPIX P1/P2.
2. Put the lens of the camera into the camera lens socket, and while keeping the camera body pressed
against the socket, tighten the camera fixing screw to secure it in place.
Note: Before attaching/detaching camera, turn the camera's power off.
3. Screw the cable release into the cable release socket.
4. With the 16x/24x/30x Wide DS Eyepiece, attach the bracket ring FSBR-3 to the bracket FSB-3 by
pressing the bracket ring, with the black rubber side facing the bracket, until it snaps into place.
With other eyepieces, remove the bracket ring. The bracket ring can be removed by inserting a
finger in the ring and pulling. (It may be a little difficult due to resistance from the rubber.)
5. Put the eyepiece attached to the Fieldscope into the eyepiece socket and tighten the fixing screw to
secure it in place while pressing the bracket against the eyepiece.
6. Optional Fieldscope Digital Camera Bracket Sight-Stay FSBS-1 can be attached.
Note for carrying
• When carrying or transporting, we recommend removing the bracket from the lens.
Attachment
1 Screw the eyepiece (either A or B) into the
eyepiece socket.
2 Attach the assembly in C to the eyepiece.
* Keep the bracket pressed against the eyepiece while
fixing it in place.
With the 16x/24x/30x Wide DS Eyepiece, attach the
bracket ring FSBR-3 to the bracket FSB-3.

• Press the bracket ring against the bracket until
the black rubber ring snaps into the groove on
the bracket.
• When the bracket ring is not attached or if it is
not attached securely, shade may appear in the
four corners of the image.
With other eyepieces, remove the bracket ring FSBR-3.
• If the bracket ring is not removed, the four
corners of the image will appear more shaded.
