「日本外科感染症学会雑誌」投稿規定
（平成19年7月）
本誌に投稿，掲載を希望する論文は，外科感染学に関する内容を有するもので，しかも他誌に発表，または投稿して
いないものに限る。さらに二重投稿および同時投稿でない旨を明記し，著者全員が署名した誓約書を添付すること。著
者は原則として連名者も含め日本外科感染症学会員であることが必要である。入会手続きは，日本外科感染症学会事務
局（株式会社メディカルトリビューン内：Tel.03-3239-7264）まで問い合わせのこと。論文は，原則として，和文また
は英文とする。
和文投稿規定
1．原著，症例報告の投稿形式は，論文題名，著者名，所属施設名（和，英併記のこと），和文要旨，英文抄録，索引
用語（4語以内），本文，文献とし，図表の説明は日本語とする。原著の論文形式は，はじめに，対象および方法，
成績（結果），考察，結論の順に記載する。
2．用語は新仮名遣いを用い，本文中の外国人名は原語で，薬品については一般名で掲載する。細菌名は学名を用いイ
タリック体とする。また，論文中にしばしば繰り返し登場する用語については略語を用いて差し支えないが，とく
に慣用されているものを除き，初出の際は完全な用語を記載し，以後，略語を使用する旨記述する。（例）surgical
site infection（術野感染：以下，SSI）
3．英文抄録は，論文タイトル，著者名，所属施設名を含めて，A4用紙に 12ポイント文字ダブルスペース 1枚（200 words
程度）とする。
4．文献の記載方法：
a）記載順序は引用順とし，本文中に肩付番号を付すこと。
b）欧文誌は Index Medicusにならい，著者名，題名，雑誌名，西暦年号，巻数，頁数（始-終）の順に記載する。
c）和文誌についても欧文誌に準ずる。
d）誌名略記は，邦文文献は医学中央雑誌刊行会の略とし，外国文献については国際略語規約に準じたIndex Medicus
所載のものとする。

5．投稿要領について：
a）原稿は横書き400字詰B5またはA4判の原稿用紙様式とし，投稿形式を明記する。ワードプロセッサー使用の場合，
1頁 400字とし，活字も B5版原稿用紙大のものを使用，またはA4判，MS明朝，14ポイント，行間 1.5行とする。
b）図（写真も含む），表は B5または A4判大の用紙に貼付し，そのまま印刷可能な明瞭なものが望ましい。トレー
スを必要とする場合は実費を徴収する。写真は原則的にはモノクロとし，すべて手札版大以上にプリントするこ
と。図表は 1枚につき原稿用紙 1枚分とする。
c）著者校正は 1回限りとし，返送期日を厳守すること。
d）論文の枚数の制限，その他の規定を次に示す。

6 ．掲載ならびに別刷料金は，原著，総説，トピックスは刷り上がり 8 頁，症例報告は 4 頁まで無料とし，
それ以上は印刷実費を徴収する。別冊についても実費（依頼論文は 30 部まで無料とする）とし，料金
徴収後に送付する。希望別冊数は 50 部単位で校正刷に明記の上，申し込むこと。
7 ．投稿論文の採否は編集委員会の審査により決定し，可及的速やかに筆頭論文筆者に通知する。
8 ．投稿規定は，改正することがある。
9 ．論文の送付先：
投稿論文に連絡先を明記し，原本 1 部とコピー 2 部（写真はコピー不可）および原稿ファイル（FD，
MO，CD）を下記宛に書留郵便にて送付すること。

10．原稿ファイルの作成について：
著者は，本文，文献，和文要旨，英文抄録を以下の規定に従って入力し，提出するものとする。
・欧文，数字，小数点，斜線（/）などは半角を使用
・句読点はピリオド（．
）とコンマ（，）を使用
・データファイルに氏名，入力機種，システム名，Version を明記する。

Japan Society for Surgical Infection will accept original manuscripts which contain material that has not
been reported elsewhere. Authors and coauthors should be a member of this society.
Manuscript Submission and Copyright Agreement Form
The Copyright Agreement form should be submitted once your paper has been accepted for publication.
Manuscripts cannot be published without this form. The corresponding author is responsible for obtaining signatures of coauthors and affirming that the manuscript is original, that all statements asserted as
facts are based on author

not, in whole or in part, infringe any copyright or violate any law of privacy or other personal or property
right whatsoever ; that it has not been published in total or in part ; is not being submitted and/or considered for publication in total or in part elsewhere ; and that the author

into this copyright agreement and to make the grants contained herein.
Preparation of Manuscript
Type the manuscript on white bond paper 216 × 279 mm（8 × 11 in）or ISO A4（212 × 297 mm）
, with
margins of at least 25 mm（1 in）. Type only on one side of the paper. Use double spacing throughout
with 12 points font, including title page, abstract, text, acknowledgements, references, tables, and legends
for illustrations. Begin each of the following sections on separate pages : title page, abstract and key
words, text, acknowledgements, references, individual tables, and legends.
Be prepared to submit :
･ The manuscript title
･ All author（s）names, valid email address and affiliations.
･ Corresponding author information, including name, address, phone and fax numbers, and email address
･ a structured abstract of approximately 200 words, which should be self-explanatory without reference
to the text. The structured abstract should consist of Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
･ At the end of the paper, give the name and address of the individual to whom reprint requests should
be directed.
Key words
Less than 4 key words should be listed below the abstract for indexing purposes.
Tables and Illustrations
Prepare each table with its title as a separate file. Use Arabic numerals to number tables. Each table
must stand alone -i.e., contain all necessary information in the caption, and the table itself must be understood independently of the text. Details of experimental conditions should be included in the table footnotes. Information that appears in the text should not be repeated in a table, and tables should not contain data that can be given in the text in one or two sentences. In principle, color photographs are not be
acceptable.
References
The Vancouver system of referencing should be used（examples are given below）.In the text, references
should be cited using superscript Arabic numerals in the order in which they appear. If cited in tables or
figure legends, number according to the first identification of the table or figure in the text.
Names of journals should be abbreviated in the style used in Index Medicus .
Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the references.

When a citation has more than four authors, list the first three and use“et al.”If it is necessary to cite an
abstract, this should be designated. Abbreviations of journal titles should follow MEDLINE. Authors are
responsible for the accuracy of the reference, and are reminded that inaccurate references are highly
frustrating to the reader, the cited author, and indexing services. Within the text, citations should be
identified by numbers in brackets, and the list of references at the end of the paper should be numbered
by order of citation. Ensure that issue numbers are omitted from the reference citation. Only works referred to in the text and already accepted for publication can be included.
