In other words, the unique culture of Kanazawa has been created on the basis of various natural environments in and around the city. In order to understand the cultural background of the city, this course provides a sound knowledge of natural environment from various scientific fields. Topics related to human activities will be explained. Finally, culture and characteristics of the people of Kanazawa will be offered to help students grasp the cultural background of the city. 授業の目標 / Objective この授業の目標を「金沢をとりまく自然をさまざまな視点から紹介し，金沢の文化をはぐくんだ風土の理解を求める」とする． The main aim of this course is to enable students to gain a basic knowledge of the natural environment of the area of Kanazawa and Hokuriku on the basis of various scientific topics. It aims also to help students obtain a sound knowledge of background of the culture and characteristics of the people of Kanazawa. 学生の学習目標 / Learning Outcomes この授業における学生の学習目標を「自分たちの生活の基盤といえる金沢の風土について，自然科学のさまざまな視点から学び考える」とする． At the end of this course, students should have a sound knowledge of natural environment of Kanazawa on the basis of various scientific topics and information.
