All IB math courses at SVHS are offered as SL courses only – there are no HL math options at SVHS. – see Math RT if guidance is needed. Students should plan a test option (HL, SL or ab initio) with teacher recommendation. - see World Languages RT if guidance is needed. MCPS offers (for a fee that families would be responsible for) the Health class and the Foundations of Technology class on-line. These courses fulfill the state requirement. Please see the MCPS Website for more information. This would potentially free up space in the regular daily schedule for other required courses and offer flexibility to the student. The state of Maryland might adopt new Health Professions pathway courses and requirements as part of the National Academy Foundation. – see the Science RT for more information. SVHS course offerings depend on a minimum enrollment in each course being met. Updated 10/23/2013
