Spaces are limited and will be given out using a priority selection process. Priority for parking spaces will be in the following order: 1. Seniors and Juniors that have been NEAT (Never Ever Absent or Tardy) for the entire Spring 2015 semester will receive first priority for parking. Seniors and then Juniors. 2. Seniors and Juniors with 3 or fewer absences from the previous (Spring 2015) semester. Garrett Soileau started playing rugby his freshman year. Like most individuals who start playing rugby, he quickly fell in love and learned to play the game well. He was selected for Texas High Performance teams every year and his senior year he played for the Rocky Mountain Challenge AllTournament Team and USA Rugby Stars and Stripes, reserved for the top 50 Boys and top 50 Girls selected from Regional All Star Tournaments. In response to the question of what he loves most about rugby, Garrett explains, "The fact that everyone has the chance to prove themselves. In rugby everyone has the chance to take the ball in for the score and feel what itвЂ™s like to put points on the board for your team. Forwards have to be able to pass just as good as backs and backs have to be able to go blow up a ruck if needed. You basically have to be able to play any position which isn't like any other sport out there. "To me rugby means opportunity. This sport has given me so many opportunities that I would have never gotten if it weren't for rugby. Because of rugby I've had the privilege to represent my state and even represent my country. I've made friends with people all over the United States and even overseas because of all the opportunities rugby has presented me with." Garrett is perfect example of everyone getting a chance to prove themselves in rugby. He most recently was invited to the U20 Junior Men's All American World Trophy team. CPHS Talking Points (Commitment, Pride, Honor, Success) TWCP CLUB INFORMATION BEST BUDDIES: Meeting in the Library: Wednesday, December 3rd, 2014 FISHING CLUB: TWCP fishing club is a student run club. With parent and teacher sponsor help, we participate in high school bass fishing tournaments. We have approximately 18 members and we currently need members with access to a bass boat. The door is always open to every CP high school student interested in pitching their fishing skills against other high schools in local bass fishing leagues. We travel at least once a month to lakes such as Conroe, Livingston, Lake Houston, Sam Rayburn and LBJ. We currently hold the 2014 Texas State Champions title for bass fishing. 3 of our teams placed in the top 5 on Conroe last month. In December we will compete against over 200 boats from over 30 schools in the SETX fishing league on Sam Rayburn reservoir. LGI fishbowl, at 2:45 pm. Please encourage all students to come and become a member, especially those freshmen that haven't become involved in any extracurricular activity. This club is a cross-cultural group where students will be learning to dance everything from the Texas 2 step to the Salsa, to Flamenco, to Tango, etc. WRITERS CLUB: Writers Club meets on Mondays @ 2:45-3:45, in room 1610. Students can share their own writing including fiction, nonfiction or poetry. Students will be able to get ideas and constructive feedback from fellow writers, contests and meet other aspiring writers. Here are the details: This quarter, we are focusing on donating warm blankets, jackets, and articles of clothing to the local people of Houston as the days begin to get shorter and cooler. Thanksgiving and Christmas are characterized as times of joy, comfort and family, but their also times of great struggle. We want to make it easier for those who don't have the means to buy basic necessities. Our goal is to be able to provide them. Our goal is to collect 15-30 blankets and 50 articles of clothing by December 5th. All of the supplies are going to Star of Hope, an organization that primarily works with the homeless of Houston.
