Dear Students, by the decision made by the faculty council, starting this semester, the official textbook of the Phys 1001 class will be the electronic copy of Young&Freedman’s “University Physics 13edition”. When you purchase the access rights to Mastering Physics (masteringphysics.com), then the online system will allow you to access the electronic version of the textbook. Also, by the decision made by the faculty council, 10% of your semester grade in Phys 1001 will be given from the online homeworks given through this online system. Please direct any questions regarding to the purchasing of the e-book to BAU Bookstore and any questions regarding the online system (such as how to access and join) to Mr. Ahmet Aktepe ([email protected]; +90 212 381 5786) at the Distant Education Department located in the first floor of D Block.
