It is one of the basic elements of human connective tissues. It takes care of
keeping the right level of hydration, turgidity, plasticity and viscosity as it

E’ il principale costituente dei capelli. È una proteina filamentosa ricca
di aminoacidi contenuta in prevalenza nella corteccia. La solidità della
cheratina può essere minata dall’utilizzo prolungato di sostanze chimiche
(come quelle contenute nelle tinture per capelli o negli shampoo
particolarmente aggressivi), dall’esposizione agli inquinanti atmosferici,
dai trattamenti fisici (permanente, piastra, phon), dallo stress e da altre
patologie che possono portare al degrado del capello.
