● Welcome back! We hope you all enjoyed your holiday. We are
looking forward to a wonderful 2015 with our students!
● Wednesday, 1/7 – もちつき (Mochitsuki) for all Japanese
Immersion students, grades K-5. This is traditionally celebrated in
Japan during the New Year’s celebration. “Mochitsuki” is pounding
sticky rice into “mochi,” a sticky rice cake. Volunteers needed –
please let us know if you are available that morning. Time TBA.
