Coming Activities of Youth Group
Youth Group organizes BBQ party for Junior high –
high school students and JFY members on Sunday,
August 4 after 10:00 AM Mass
There will also be Retreat for Youth Group
members on September 23 to be led by Fr. Jess.

今日の福音ルカによる福音（10：25‐37）
〔そのとき、
〕ある律法の専門家が立ち上がり、イエスを試そうとして言った。
「先生、何をした
ら、永遠の命を受け継ぐことができるでしょうか。
」イエスが、
「律法には何と書いてあるか。あな
たはそれをどう読んでいるか」と言われると、彼は答えた。
「
『心を尽くし、精神を尽くし、力を尽
くし、思いを尽くして、あなたの神である主を愛しなさい、また、隣人を自分のように愛しなさい』
とあります。
」イエスは言われた。
「正しい答えだ。それを実行しなさい。そうすれば命が得られる。
」
しかし、彼は自分を正当化しようとして、
「では、わたしの隣人とはだれですか」と言った。イエス
はお答えになった。
「ある人がエルサレムからエリコへ下って行く途中、追いはぎに襲われた。追い
はぎはその人の服をはぎ取り、殴りつけ、半殺しにしたまま立ち去った。ある祭司がたまたまその
道を下って来たが、その人を見ると、道の向こう側を通って行った。同じように、レビ人もその場
所にやって来たが、その人を見ると、道の向こう側を通って行った。ところが、旅をしていたある
サマリア人は、そばに来ると、その人を見て憐れに思い、近寄って傷に油とぶどう酒を注ぎ、包帯
をして、自分のろばに乗せ、宿屋に連れて行って介抱した。そして、翌日になると、デナリオン銀
貨二枚を取り出し、宿屋の主人に渡して言った。
『この人を介抱してください。費用がもっとかかっ
たら、帰りがけに払います。
』さて、あなたはこの三人の中で、だれが追いはぎに襲われた人の隣人
になったと思うか。
」律法の専門家は言った。
「その人を助けた人です。
」そこで、イエスは言われた。
「行って、あなたも同じようにしなさい。
」

A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke（10：25-37）
Everyone in need is my neighbor
There was a lawyer who, to disconcert Jesus, stood up and said to him, “Master, what must I
do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the law? What do you read there?”
He replied, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all
your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” “You have answered
right” said Jesus, “do this and life is yours.”
But the man was anxious to justify himself and said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
Jesus replied, “A man was once on his way down from Jerusalem to Jericho and fell into the
hands of brigands; they took all he had, beat him and then made off, leaving him half dead. Now
a priest happened to be travelling down the same road, but when he saw the man, he passed by
on the other side. In the same way a Levite who came to the place saw him, and passed by on
the other side. But a Samaritan traveler who came upon him was moved with compassion when
he saw him. He went up and bandaged his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them. He then lifted
him on to his mount, carried him to the inn and looked after him. Next day, he took out two
denarii and handed them to the innkeeper. “Look after him,” he said, “and on my way back I will
make good any extra expense you have.” Which of these three, do you think, proved himself a
neighbor to the man who fell into the brigands’ hands? “The one, who took pity on him” he
replied. Jesus said to him, “Go, and do the same yourself.”

【福音朗読】
わたしの隣人とはだれですか
〔ルカ福音書だけが伝える有名なたとえ話。ルカ福音書の中で、
この話は、9：51 から始まるエルサレムへ向かう旅の途中に置かれている〕
心を尽くし、精神を尽くし……
申命記 6：5 の引用。このことばをユダヤ人は毎朝唱えていた。
隣人を自分のように……
レビ 19：18 の引用。マルコは 12：30－31 とマタイ 22：37－39 では、イエス自身がこ
の二つの掟を述べている。
エリコ
ヨルダン川の下流に位置する古い町。エルサレムよりずっと低く、
海面下にある。
祭司
エルサレムの神殿で宗教儀式を司る者。
レビ人
神殿で奉仕にあたるが、祭司よりも低い階級の人。
サマリア人
ユダヤ人からは異端者のように考えられ軽蔑されていた。律法学者の考えでは、
「隣人」
ではありえない種類の人間である。
憐れに思い
目の前の人間の苦しみを見て、自分のはらわたがゆさぶられること。非常に深い共感
を表すことばである。ルカ 7：13、15：20 参照。
デナリオン銀貨
一デナリオンは一日の日当にあたる。
信仰年の祈り
「信仰年」を過ごす私たちを聖霊によって強め、導き、新たにして下さい。救
いの道具として選ばれ、地の塩・世の光として派遣されている教会共同体が、
現代の荒れ野において悩み苦しむ多くの人々のいやし、慰め、励まし、希望
となることができますように。

望を見いだし、あなたに感謝と賛美をささげることができますように。主よ、私たちの祈り
を聞き入れてください。
