Shimming instructions would apply for bolted machinery. The bolt head should be isolated from the machine base or feet by using a metal washer over a piece of ISO-PAD. The body of the bolt must also be isolated. (2.4 mm) increments. If metal shims are required, use ISO-PAD SHIM to isolate them from the machine base and eliminate metal-to-metal contact. It is especially useful in assuring level machine installations on unlevel floors. ISO-PAD SHIM has a composition similiar to ISO-PAD Standard.
