The John Day/Snake Resource Advisory Council (JDSRAC) will meet November 29, 2011, in the conference room at the Umatilla National Forest Supervisor office located at 2517 SW Hailey Avenue, Pendleton Oregon 97801. Topics to be discussed at the meetings include: Welcome/Orientation of new members, elections of officers, a presentation on a more efficient way of transmitting power/energy to minimize the impacts of disturbance on public lands, identification of sub-committee members, report by the Federal managers on litigation, energy projects, and other issues affecting their districts; and other matters as may reasonably come before the Council
The John Day/Snake Resource Advisory Council (JDSRAC) will meet Feb. 16 in the conference room at the Umatilla National Forest Supervisor office located at 2517 SW Hailey Avenue, Pendleton, Ore. 97801. Topics to be discussed at the meetings include: An update on the John Day Final Resource Management Plan, an update on the BLM Baker Resource Management Plan, a decision by the JDSRAC on comments to the Baker Draft Resource Management Plan, an update by Oregon State Parks on Cottonwood Park, update on litigation, energy projects and other issues affecting the Federal Managers Districts, and other matters as may reasonably come before the council.
The John Day/Snake Resource Advisory Council (JDSRAC) will meet at 10:00 a.m. on September 23 at the Wallowa-Whitman Mountain Visitor Center located at State Highway 82, Enterprise, Oregon to depart on a field trip to look at issues related to the management at Zumwalt Prairie and the utilization of biomass at the Post and Pole Factory.
