Roseburg, Ore. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Roseburg District has proposed improvements to the West Entrance trailhead at the North Bank Habitat Management Area (NBHMA). The BLM would like to invite members of the public to a presentation on the proposed improvements and to take a field tour to the site location in May 2016.
Roseburg, Ore. Over 60 volunteers this year turned out to support the 11th annual Cow Creek Byway cleanup effort, in conjunction with National Public Lands Day. Volunteers removed over 500 pounds of garbage, eight tires, three TVs, and six mattresses. Materials were collected south of Riddle, Oregon, along the Cow Creek Back Country Byway, managed by the Roseburg District Bureau of Land Management.

Roseburg, Ore. -- The Umpqua Basin Cleanup partners would like to thank the over 65 dedicated volunteers from throughout Douglas County who came together during the last two weeks in September to support the 29th annual Umpqua Basin Cleanup. Volunteers collected trash in over 20 sites in Douglas County ranging from The Narrows to Gaddis Park and from Canyonville to Elkton. Along Cow Creek alone, over 500 pounds of trash was removed.
Roseburg, Ore. -- The Roseburg District, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has begun an environmental assessment (EA) for the Roseburg District Secretarial Demonstration Pilot Project. The South River Field Office will be seeking public scoping comments on the project from June 15, 2011 to July 15, 2011.
