ST. CLARE’S LADIES GROUP is inviting women of our Parish to join them on their annual retreat
to the St. Francis Centre located in the peaceful woods of Caledon, on Saturday, May 31/14. Fr.
Pierre Farrugia, OFM will facilitate. Time: 9:00am-4:00 pm. Cost $50.00, bus transportation and

Lenten Food Drive – Thank You The Reach Out Group would like to thank everyone for their
donations to the annual Lenten Food Drive last weekend. In this season of Lent we are called to
works of charity and through your generous donations we were able to deliver a large truck load of
food to the Missionary Sisters of Charity. The Sisters were overwhelmed by the response we had
and very grateful for the food which will help them in their weekly Food Kitchen. Some of the
food will also be distributed to families in need. The Sisters of Charity is an order which was
started by Mother Teresa with a mandate of “wholehearted and free service to the poorest of
the poor”.
Thanks to the volunteers who helped with the collection inside the church and to
those who help us load the truck. A special Thank You to Joe Genoa who supplied the truck and
drove it downtown for us.
Consolata Missionaries will be holding their 8th Annual Fashion show on Wednesday, June 4th, 2014
at Da Vinci Banquet Hall, 5732 Highway 7, Woodbridge starting at 11:00am with browsing of
vendors’ stalls and sit down luncheon to be served at 12:30pm. All proceeds from this event go
towards the Consolata Missions of Puerto Ospina – Colombia, Loiyangallani – Kenya and Brazil. For

Italian Pastoral Commission – al santuario del Martiti di Midland domenica 29 giugno 2014 – ore
10:30am – processione con la statua della Santa Famiglia dalla sua cappella sulla collina all’altare,
