新規 ETF 向けに 3 件のインデックス・ライセンスをバンガードに供与
2014年6月16日香港発：世界的なインデックス・プロバイダーであるFTSEグループ
（「FTSE」）は本日、香港証券取引所に上場される新規上場投資信託（ETF）のベースになるも
のとして、3件のインデックスのライセンスをバンガード（Vanguard）に供与したと発表しまし
た。これにより、FTSEのインデックスをベースとするETFの本数は、バンガードが発行する29本
を含めて、世界で325本以上となりました。
世界最大の投資信託会社1であるバンガードは、香港で新たなETFを立ち上げるためにFTSEグロー
バル株式インデックス・シリーズから次のインデックスを採用しました。
• FTSEアジア太平洋（日本、オーストラリア、ニュージーランドを除く）高配当利回りインデッ
クス
• FTSE欧州先進国インデックス
• FTSE日本インデックス
FTSEアジアのマネージング・ディレクター、ジェシー・パックは次のように述べています。「バ

スを測定し、世界の投資可能時価総額の 98％をカバーしています。FTSE アジア太平洋（日本、
オーストラリア、ニュージーランドを除く）高配当利回りインデックス、FTSE 欧州先進国イン
デックスおよび FTSE 日本インデックスは、FTSE グローバル株式インデックス・シリーズの一部
です。FTSE アジア太平洋（日本、オーストラリア、ニュージーランドを除く）高配当利回りイ
ンデックスは、日本、オーストラリアおよびニュージーランドの普通株式を除いた、平均を上回
る配当利回りの株式で構成されています。
