Volume 12, Issue 2 ♥ ♥ ♥ Jody and I are anxiously awaiting May 15 to roll around—that’s the day we board a plane for Kansas City, Missouri, the location of Spring 2012 International Quilt Market! We’ll spend 4 days taking classes, networking with shop owners from all over the world, playing with our friends Robin & Diane from Tater Patch Quilts in Oregon, and seeing all the latest and greatest new fabrics, books, patterns, notions and techniques related to the wonderful world of quilting! Although the show doesn’t start till Thursday, we like to go a couple of days early and do our own “shop hop” to find new and different ideas that are successful in quilt shops outside our own area. Stay tuned for an announcement about the “unveiling” of our Market purchases near the end of May/beginning of June! ♥ May—August 2012 ♥ I will also be busy this Summer helping my daughter, Erin, plan a very important event—her wedding!! You may remember that she became engaged on our family vacation in Hawaii last July. Erin and Rich will be tying the knot in Chico, CA, on September 22! Thanks for all your inquiries and get well wishes following my little rotary cutting accident last December and subsequent surgery.
