Therefore, my beloved, as you have always
obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but
much more in my absence, work out your own
salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who
works in you, both to will and to work for His good

あったように、私がいるときだけでなく、私のいない

✓We can become “pure and blameless”! 純真で非難される
ところがない者となることができる！(1:10)
✓We can be assured of final salvation, not destruction! 滅
びではなく救いの確信が持てる！(1:28)
✓We are enabled to worship God rightly! 創造主を正しく礼
拝できる者になること (3:3)
✓We gain Christ Himself and live in fellowship with Him! キ
リストご自身を得て、彼と交わりをもって生きること (3:8-11)
✓We will be raised from the dead! 死者の中からの復活にあず
かる！ (3:11)
✓Jesus will change our weak, sinful bodies into glorious
ones like His own! 「キリストが…私たちの卑しいからだを、

. . . let us run with endurance the race that is
set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder
and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that
was set before Him endured the cross,
despising the shame, and is seated at the
right hand of the throne of God.

続けようではありませんか。信仰の創始者であり、
完成者であるイエスから目を離さないでいなさい。
イエスは、ご自分の前に置かれた喜びのゆえに、は

trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to

Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that
you may be blameless and innocent, children of
God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and
twisted generation, among whom you shine as
lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life,
so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did
not run in vain or labor in vain. Even if I am to be
poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrificial
offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you
all. Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice
with me.
