Hi! my name is Tiziana, I'm 18 years old and I live in Catania. I attend “Carlo Gemmellaro” secondary school.
I study three foreign languages : English, Spanish and French. I enjoy travelling and learning new cultures
and people. I like going shopping, listening to music, going to the seaside and going out with my friends. I
usually spend my Saturday nights going to the disco. I would like to become a hostess. I hope my dreams
will come true!
2 CUSMANO ELISA
Hi! My name is Elisa and I'm 17years old. I have been a student at” Gemmellaro” high school for two years
and my favourite subject is art. I'm working at two school projects : "Comenius" and "Writers in the
school".This year my schoolmates and I have visited some important places in our town as the
municipality of Catania and we probably we will visit some important political places in Rome. In the past I
practiced synchronized swimming and for many years I have practiced Caribbean dance such as cuban
salsa, bachata and guaguancò. I like listening to music, going to the disco, going out with my friends and my
boyfriend. I'm excited to do a new experience with “Comenius project” and meet new people and culture.
3 DE LUCA VERONICA
Hello ,I’am Veronica and I'm eighteen years old. I live in Catania and I attend Carlo Gemmellaro secondary
school. I study three foreign languages : English, Spanish and French . I have had working experience as a
waitress in some hotels. I enjoy travelling and learning about new cultures and people. I like going to the
seaside in Summer and going out with my friends. I love reading books and listening to music. I would like
to be the head of a pub in a foreign country. I hope my dreams will come true !
4 DI VENUTO GRAZIANA
Hello, My name is Graziana Di Venuto .. I'm 18 ... I am a very nice and available girl... I love travelling and
studying .. I visited several cities ... like Paris, Milan, Rome and Venice ... Traveling has always been
important for me and I have just chosen to study “tourism” at my school for this reason. I wish I could
become a hostess in future. I also got a certificate in first aid and I’d like to work in a hospital too ! I am
very happy to participate in “ Comenius “ project and I hope to live a wonderful experience together
with you ! I CANNOT WAIT to meet you soon !

I have taken part in several projects at school " Writers at school", "To become entrepreneurs " e
"Comenius". I am a very sociable and cheerful girl. I love food and going out with my friends.
6 GENNARO SIMONA
Hi! I’m Simona and I’m 17 years old. I have attended “Carlo Gemmellaro” high school for four years and my
favorite subjects are English and Spanish. I’m working at some school projects such as “Writers at school”
(where we are working for two school newspapers), “Becoming entrepreneurs”, “Dele” ( a Spanish course)
and “Comenius” the most interesting and beautiful in my opinion. In the past, I practiced rhythmic dance
for four years but now I have been playing volleyball for six years. Every Saturday I play the official matches
and then after the end of the match I usually go out with my friends.
I’m so excited to take part in the ‘Comenius’ project, I can’t wait to meet new friends! My motto is “Travel
for learning”.

Hello, my name is Maria Concetta but my friends usually call me MaryCò. I am 18 years old and I am from
Catania a beautiful city in Sicily.
I attend the fourth class of tourism sector at the high school " Carlo Gemmellaro" and I have chosen
this school because I have always been interested in learning foreign languages so I hope to find a job in
this field. I have immediately taken the opportunity to participate in the “Comenius “ project because I want
to try this new experience.
8 AGATA MAZZEO
"My name is Agata Mazzeo . I was born in Catania , I’m 17 and attend the secondary school “Carlo
Gemmellaro” in Catania. I’m a nice chatterbox and very moody girl. I am interested in learning new
cultures and traditions and I love foreign languages, so now I am trying to learn English, French and
Spanish. I really like hanging out with my friends, they are nice sweet and sensible. I like travelling a lot so
I'm glad to participate in this project and I hope to live a wonderful experience to share with you.
9 MUGAVERO ANTHONY
Hi, my name's Anthony Mugavero and I am 17 years old and study computer science at the institute Carlo
Gemmellaro. I live in Catania. I have many passions, but the ones I like more are: singing, playing football
and being with my friends. I’m very sensible,tolerant, calm and balanced and I have got lots of friends.
I’m very happy to participate in this project “ Comenius “ because it gives me the possibility to meet foreign
people and to make new friends.
10 PAPA LORENA
Hello, my name is Lorena Papa, I am 18 years old and I attend the fourth class at ”Carlo Gemmellaro”
secondary school in Catania. I really like travelling, studying, but my biggest passion is dancing. I got
various certificates in this sector and I have participated to several dance championships. I am a very
cheerful friendly outgoing girl. I love spending my free time together with funny nice and friendly people. I
visited lots of places like Milan, Bologna, Naples, but I've never been outside of Italy. I am very happy to
participate in this project and I cannot wait to meet foreign students and to live this new experience.
11 PRIVITERA GRAZIELLA
Hi! My name is Graziella,I'm a student at Carlo Gemmellaro Secondary school (Tourism Sector)
In my class 4C there are friendly people, among these people there is my best friend! I study
English, French and Spanish. I really like studying and learning new things so I have always
excellent marks. I'm attending several school projects such as “ the school newspaper” “Becoming
an entrepreneur” and DELE.
I like listening to music, singing and dancing. I'm outgoing and available, I'm tolerant, calm and
balanced. I'm not conceited and I like working in groups. I'm a too much sensitive and shy girl.
My motto is: “A winner is a dreamer who never stopped dreaming!”

My name is Giorgia Santonocito, I'm 17 years old and I am a nice, outgoing and friendly girl. I like listening
to music and traveling. I love London one of my favourite cities and I think I will go there one day in
future. I love meeting new people from different countries so I'm very happy to participate in the “Comenius
project” and to travel abroad. I can't wait to meet new foreign students and make new friends.

14 SEMINARA FABIANA
My name is Fabiana, I'm eighteen and I attend the fourth year in high school. My favorite subject is English
and I don't really like math. I love travelling, I went on a cruise a few years ago and last year I went to
Verona, a beautiful city in Italy. I love music (I would listen to music all day), I like reading and I like
meeting people from different countries. Sicily is a beautiful place. I can't wait to travel and meet new
friends.

My name is Ezio Zappalà, I'm 17 and I attend the fourth class of Carlo Gemmellaro
school. I'm very outgoing boy and I love speaking with different people.I love dance, theatre and music. I
study in a school dance and I play some musical instruments such as the clarinet, the saxophone, the piano
and the guitar. In short a day is not enough for me to do everything I want to, but I do not care.

Hi, my name's Angelo Ursino , I am 17 years old and I live in Catania (Sicily). I study computer science at
the secondary school “ Carlo Gemmellaro” in my town. I have many passions, but in particular I like so
much singing, playing football, listening to music and hanging out with my friends especially on Saturdays
evenings. My favourite football team is Juventus , the best one in Italy and not only !!!! I’m very happy to
take part in the “ Comenius” project and I hope to travel abroad , meet foreign students and make new
friends. I love to learn new people, cultures and habits.

Hi everybody ! My name is Morgana, I’m 18 years old and I attend the fourth class of Carlo Gemmellaro
school n Catania and study computer science. I like meeting new people from all over the world, I’m
interested in new cultures so my dream is travelling. Thanks to this project “Comenius” I hope to go abroad
and visit some foreign country. I like practising sport and listening to music in my free time.
