Više puta nagrađivan za uređenost i raznovrsnost
turističke ponude, nekadašnja rimska kolonija Poreč
danas je prava turistička oaza s prekrasnim plažama,
širokom sportsko-rekreativnom i gastronomskom
ponudom, atraktivnim noćnim životom te brojnim
kulturno -zabavnim manifestacijama... Primjer
je to grada razvijenog u romaničkoj arhitekturi
s venecijanskim gotičkim palačama, a njegov
ortogonalni urbanistički sustav ulica potpuno je
sačuvan sve do danas. Kulturnoj baštini krunu daje
Eufrazijeva bazilika iz 6. stoljeća stavljena pod zaštitu
UNESCO-a 1997. godine, a čiji mozaici spadaju među
najljepša sačuvana djela bizantske umjetnosti.
U neposrednoj blizini nalaze se dva šarmantna
naselja, Tar i Vabriga, znamenita po maslinovom ulju
i tradiciji ribarstva. Prema stručnjacima FAO-a (Food
and Agriculture Organization), upravo se podno Tara
uzgajaju masline od kojih se dobiva najbolje ulje u
Europi.

Die Krönung des Kulturerbes ist die EuphrasiusBasilica aus dem 6. Jh., die seit 1997 als UNESCO
Kulturerbe gilt, mit Mosaiken der byzantinischen
Kunst. Ganz in der Nähe befinden sich die zwei
sympathischen Dörfer Tar und Vabriga die durch
den Olivenanbau und die Fischerei bekannt sind.
Nahrungsexperten zufolge sollen die Oliven, die am
Fuße von Tar wachsen, das beste Olivenöl in Europa
liefern.

l’eterogeneità dell’offerta turistica, l’antica colonia
romana, Parenzo, è oggi un’autentica oasi turistica

Tanto tempo fa qui scorreva un fiume e il livello del
mare era molto più basso. Poi il mare inghiottì il fiume
e nacque il Canale di Leme, area protetta e fenomeno
geomorfologico con rocce scoscese tipiche dei
canyon che s’innalzano fino a centocinquanta metri
sopra il livello del mare. Gli undici chilometri che si
spingono nella terraferma ci donano un’immagine
mozzafiato. Vi si allevano pesci, cozze e ostriche
da assaporare in loco. Non lontano due località di
pescatori, oggi note destinazioni turistiche: Orsera
e Fontane. La tradizione peschereccia prende forma
nelle ottime specialità gastronomiche, ricche e
apprezzate, connubio di prodotti freschi, di ricette
antiche e di cordiali padroni di casa...La bellezza di
questi luoghi con la costa più frastagliata dell’Istria,
