5. ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΤΙΚΗ ΔΡΑΣΤΗΡΙΟΤΗΤΑ
Συνεχής εκπαιδευτική δραστηριότητα από το 1970 έως το 1977 ως βοηθός και επιμελητής
σε διαφορά μαθήματα της τότε έδρας Γεωλογίας και άλλων Τμημάτων (Βιολογίας,
Φυσικής, Χημείας) της Φυσικομαθηματικής Σχολής του Παν/μίου Πατρών.
Από την ίδρυση του τμήματος Γεωλογίας (1978) δίδαξα συνεχώς κυρίως τα μαθήματα
«Πετρολογία μεταμορφωμένων πετρωμάτων», «Πειραματική μελέτη μεταμορφικών
συστημάτων», «Μεταμόρφωση στον Ελληνικό χώρο», «Μεταμορφικές Διεργασίες»,
«Βιομηχανικά Ορυκτά και Πετρώματα», «Πετρολογία», «Μέθοδοι Έρευνας Ορυκτών και
Πετρωμάτων» με τα αντίστοιχα εργαστήρια και κατά περιόδους έχω διδάξει τα μαθήματα
Ορυκτολογία Ι και ΙΙ. Δίδαξα επίσης στο τμήμα Επιστήμης Υλικών τα μαθήματα
«Γεωλογία» και «Υλικά της Γης».
Διετέλεσα υπεύθυνος για την κατεύθυνση «Ορυκτές Πρώτες Ύλες και Περιβάλλον» του
μεταπτυχιακού προγράμματος ειδ/κευσης «Γεωεπιστήμες και Περιβάλλον» του τμήματος
Γεωλογίας. Στο πρόγραμμα αυτό δίδαξα μόνος ή σε συνδιδασκαλία τα μαθήματα:
«Χρήσεις ορυκτών πρώτων υλών για την αντιμετώπιση περιβαλλοντικών προβλημάτων»,
«Ενόργανες Μέθοδοι Ορυκτολογικής ανάλυσης» και «Περιβάλλον και Αειφόρος
ανάπτυξη».
Υπό την καθοδήγησή μου έχουν εκπονηθεί τρεις διδακτορικές διατριβές ενώ τέταρτη,
βρίσκεται στο στάδιο της συγγραφής. Συμμετείχα σε πολλές τριμελείς συμβουλευτικές
επιτροπές εκπόνησης διδακτορικών διατριβών από υποψηφίους άλλων γεωλογικών και
μη τμημάτων.

Επιστημονικός υπεύθυνος στο πρόγραμμα «Υδροθερμικός μετασχηματισμός αδιόγκωτων
και διογκωμένων περλιτών της Νήσου Μήλου σε χαμηλές συνθήκες πίεσης και
θερμοκρασίας». Συγχρηματοδοτούμενο από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση (Ευρωπαϊκό
Κοινωνικό Ταμείο - ΕΚΤ) και από εθνικούς πόρους μέσω του Επιχειρησιακού
Προγράμματος «Εκπαίδευση και Δια Βίου Μάθηση» του Εθνικού Στρατηγικού Πλαισίου
