Public speaking contest
It’s that time of the year again. Yes, warm up those vocal pipes for maximum efficiency.
Every year Royal Canadian Legions across Canada sponsor a Public Speaking Contest for
students to provide them with the opportunity to express their thoughts. All schools will
have 8 entries picked. These contestants will be presenting their own speeches at the
Angus Legion. Go to www.on.legion.ca (Youth Programs, Public Speaking) for more
information. The Legion, once again, will be judging the speeches on Sunday, January 26
at 1p.m. Parents and teachers wishing to attend and lend your support are more than welcome. Prize money for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners of each category.
The contests are: (A) Junior Grades 4 - 6 (B) Intermediate Grades 7 - 9
(C) Seniors Grades 10 - 12.
The 1st place winning submissions will go on to be judged at the next level
(Zone, District, etc).

‘Soup’s On’
fundraising event
The Angus District Lions Club will be hosting a “Soup’s On” fundraising event,
February 8, at the Angus Lions Hall, 380 Mill St., Angus.
10 a.m - 3 p.m.
In support of the Simcoe County Sliders Sledge Hockey Team.
This team is a first of its kind in Simcoe County and involves individuals from ages 6-21
with or without disabilities. The Sliders are a newly established Sledge Hockey Team
formed by the Simcoe County Sliders Parents Council. The Parents Council was formed
to further develop a team after the Children’s Treatment Network organized three skills
building sessions for area youth in March of 2012. Their mission is to establish and
expand the sport of Sledge Hockey.
Passports will be sold to the event for $10. Passport holders will come and taste all the
available soups, then vote for their favourite. At the end of the event a tally will be done
and the winner will be awarded bragging rights to the best soup!
Trophies will be awarded.
Lasagna dinner at the Legion
Friday, January 17, we will be serving lasagna, caesar salad and garlic bread.
Served from 5-7 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 499, 15 Fraser Street, Angus.

At this time I would like to thank all of the students who took time out of their busy
lives to participate in the annual Royal Canadian Legion's Remembrance Literary
Composition and Poster Contest. Congratulations!

member.
If you have had a haircut at the Circle
Pines Barbershop, chances are you have run
into Mr. George Newkirk. For the last 50
years, Mr. Newkirk has been sharing smiles
and conversations while making our soldiers look good.
“It’s quite an honour, I never expected

anything like this,” commented Mr.
Newkirk after being presented with a plaque
to commemorate the moment. “You just do
your job and have a good time. 50 years
seems like a long time, but it’s not,” says
Mr. Newkirk with a grin.
“I have been visiting the base and met
thousands of people, but I have not met one
like George,” commented Col Doyon, CFB
Borden Commander. “50 years of serving
the community, and the men and women of
this base is unbelievable. This is just a small
token to thank him.”

RCEME School ‘Bring Your Kids To Work Day’ 2013

n 6 November, 2013, 14 Grade 9 students participated in the Royal Canadian
Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RCEME) School 2013 ‘Bring your Kids to
Work’ event with great success.
Students were involved in an array of activities and tours which showcased the various
work environments of RCEME soldier-technicians in a school setting. The day started with
a tour of Vehicle Platoon and Materials Platoon. Afterwards, the students visited Weapons
Platoon where they saw the learning aid cut outs of different guns and rifles. For lunch, students dined on an Individual Meal Packs (IMP), with mixed reviews. The remainder of the

e 6 novembre, 2013, 14 étudiants de la neuvième année ont participé avec beaucoup d’enthousiasme à l’activité « Invitons nos jeunes au travail » organisée en
2013 par l’École du Génie électrique et mécanique royal canadien (EGEMC).
Ces étudiants ont pris part à un éventail d’activités et de visites guidées qui leur ont permis de voir les divers aspects des fonctions qu’exercent les techniciens militaires de
l’EGEMRC, dans un milieu d’enseignement. La journée a commencé par une visite dans
les locaux du peloton des véhicules et du peloton responsable du matériel. Les visiteurs se
sont ensuite rendus dans les locaux du peloton des armes, où ils ont pu voir les formes
découpées de différents modèles de canons et de fusils servant de matériel d’apprentissage.
Au dîner, ils se sont fait servir des rations individuelles de campagne, à propos desquelles
les avis étaient partagés. Les étudiants ont terminé leur visite par une excursion interactive
dans les ateliers du peloton des techniciens en électronique et optronique, où ils ont la
chance de s’amuser avec des jumelles au laser et de raccorder une épissure sur un cordon
de rallonge.
La journée a connu un succès fulgurant, et les étudiants ont eu l’occasion de voir dans
un milieu sûr et stimulant ce que leurs parents et collègues font durant leurs journées de travail. Nous remercions tous les participants du fond du cœur.

at 16 Wing Borden, held a
change of appointment ceremony
between outgoing Honorary Colonel,
HCol R.E. (Bob) McIntyre, and incoming Honorary Colonel, HCol J.G. (Jim)
Williams). The Commander 16 Wing,
Lieutenant-Colonel Marc Rodgers was
the presiding officer for the event.
HCol McIntyre, a well known and
respected TV personality, was appointed as ACA Honorary Colonel in April,
2010 and was in fact the first Honorary
Colonel for the Air Command
Academy.
HCol Williams is the President of
Jim Williams Leasing Limited and dedicated to the local community, through
his involvement in the Rotary Club of
L
Barrie. He has served on the Board of
Directors numerous times, as well as
being District Governor in 2001-02. He
has also been an active member of several national committees. Most notably
he was fully engaged in the planning
and delivering of 1500 wheelchairs to
underdeveloped countries.
During his remarks LCol Rodgers,
stated that Honorary Colonels provide a
much needed connection between the
community and the Canadian Armed
Forces (CAF). He thanked HCol
McIntyre for “his very vocal support
for the Canadian Armed Forces”. He
also welcomed HCol Williams stating
that the “advice and experience that he
will bring to the table will greatly assist
the ACA Commandant in meeting his
objectives”.
The tradition of honouring regional
or local dignitaries with an honorary
rank in the military goes back to 1857.

the need for change, with
many resolutions made it
can be hard to commit to a new
routine. This is why Health
Promotions is bringing you the
Borden’s
Biggest
Winner
Challenge! In order to help our
community with its health and fitness goals, Biggest Winner will
see 40 participants work hard over
12 weeks to meet their objective.
This year’s program has
jumped up in numbers as the program encourages a lifestyle or
behavioral change rather than a
diet. Participants will spend one
session a week with Instructor,
Nathaniel Smith of Health
Promotions, who will teach them
about nutrition, good habits and
positive thinking through a series
of practical skills, tips and tricks.
Here’s one to get you started: To
help you get your day off on the
right foot it’s important to have a
good breakfast, as this will get
your metabolism going and start
burning calories right away!
“I am very excited, it’s different
than just a diet,” commented par-
ticipant, Sebastian Sauvé. “We are
going to learn a lifestyle so its very
motivating, changing how you eat
and do stuff so you can keep the
good style.”
The course will also have 2
hands-on sections that will see
participants either doing some
cooking themselves or watching a
demonstration by a real chef,
learning some healthy recipes, and
even taking a grocery tour to learn
healthy shopping tricks. “What we
do at Health Promotions is to try to
make healthy changes in behavior.
So this program focuses on physical activity, healthy eating,” says
Nathaniel Smith. “If you make
changes in those two areas, you
will start the new year off on a
good note.”
Then it’s on to the gym for 2
weekly sessions of varying physical activity with Fitness Instructor,
Jeff Moyle. Not only does Jeff
help the participants push their
limits during his workouts, he also
encourages them to get involved in
PSP programs, take advantage of
the Buell Fitness Centre and get
moving everyday. “It’s awesome!
Jeff does great workouts. I participated last year, so this is another
goal for me,” commented participant, Carrie Topping. “I am not

healthier lifestyle, some workout
techniques that I can use at home,
which I know Jeff is great at.”
“One of the big reasons why
this is important is the group
aspect of it,” says Moyle. “Not
only are you going through this
whole lifestyle change and
revamping your personal goals,
you are doing this with a group of
people who are like minded, who
have other things to bring to the
table, who can motivate you and
hold you accountable, because
accountability is one of the things
that get everyone out the door and
moving. Having 40 peers to work
with makes it a lot less scary to get
to the goal.”

a nouvelle année entraîne souvent un désir de
changement, mais les nombreuses résolutions que
nous prenons peuvent être difficiles à intégrer à
notre routine. C’est pourquoi la Promotion de la santé ainsi
que les Programmes de soutien du personnel (PSP) vous
présentent le défi Grand gagnant de la BFC Borden.
Afin d’aider les membres de notre communauté à atteindre leurs objectifs de santé et de conditionnement physique,
le défi Grand gagnant réunira 40 participants qui travailleront fort durant 12 semaines afin d’atteindre leurs
buts.
Cette année, le nombre de participants au programme a
grimpé de façon importante. Ce dernier encourage un
changement de style de vie ou de comportement, plutôt que
le suivi d’un régime. Chaque semaine, les participants assisteront à une séance dirigée par Nathaniel Smith, instructeur
de la Promotion de la santé, qui abordera la nutrition, les
bonnes habitudes et la pensée positive, tout en leur
enseignant une foule de connaissances pratiques, de trucs et
d’astuces. En voici une qui vous mettra sur la bonne voie :
pour commencer la journée du bon pied, il est important de
bien déjeuner, car votre métabolisme se met alors en marche
et vous fait brûler des calories sur-le-champ!
« Je suis très content parce que ce n’est pas seulement un
régime », affirme Sebastian Sauvé. « Nous allons apprendre
à adopter un style de vie précis. C’est très motivant. Nous
devrons changer notre façon de manger et de faire nos tâches, pour conserver de bonnes habitudes. »
Le programme comprend également deux séances pratiques, au cours desquelles les participants cuisineront euxmêmes ou assisteront à une démonstration donnée par un

« Notre travail à la Promotion de la santé est d’essayer
d’apporter des changements sains au comportement. Le programme met donc l’accent sur l’activité physique et sur l’alimentation saine », explique Nathaniel Smith. « Si vous
apportez des changements à ces deux aspects, vous commencerez l’année du bon pied. »
Par la suite, les séances se poursuivent au gymnase à raison de deux fois par semaine. Elles comprennent diverses
activités physiques supervisées par Jeff Moyle, instructeur
de conditionnement physique. Jeff n’aide pas seulement les
participants à repousser leurs limites pendant l’entraînement, il les encourage aussi à participer aux programmes
des PSP, à tirer profit du Centre de conditionnement
physique Buell et à faire de l’exercice tous les jours. « C’est
super! Jeff prépare d’excellents exercices. J’ai participé
l’année dernière, alors il s’agit d’un nouvel objectif pour
moi », affirme la participante Carrie Topping. « Je ne
cherche pas à perdre du poids, mais plutôt à adopter un
meilleur style de vie et à acquérir des techniques d’entraînement que je peux mettre en pratique à la maison, ce que Jeff
peut très bien nous montrer ».
« Une des principales raisons qui explique l’efficacité du
programme est le fait qu’il se déroule en groupe. En plus
d’apporter un grand changement à votre style de vie et de
revoir vos objectifs personnels, vous le faites au sein d’un
groupe qui a les mêmes buts, qui peut vous motiver et qui
peut vous tenir responsable », explique Moyle. « Cette
responsabilité est entre autres ce qui pousse les gens à sortir
pour bouger. Lorsqu’on suit un programme avec 40 autres
camarades, les objectifs paraissent moins difficiles à atteindre. »

Triple P – Tantrums
The Borden Family Resource Centre hosts monthly Triple P (Positive Parenting
Program) workshops with Jennifer Reynolds from the Ontario Early Years Centre for
Simcoe-Grey.
The third workshop scheduled on January 31 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. will be on the
topic of “Tantrums”. The first time your toddler throws a tantrum may be a real surprise. You may be stunned into embarrassed silence - especially if the tantrum occurs
in public. It is best to deal with tantrums as soon as they start. This workshop will give
some suggestions to help you manage tantrums and help teach your toddler how to
calm down quickly.

e have a unique
role
in
the
forces, generally
we are by ourselves. We are very
few and far between so you have
to be able to think on your feet,
react appropriately, and realize
that you are going to need an extra
set of hands,” says MCpl Anstey,
Instructor of the QL5 Medical
Technician course, field portion.
A Medical Technician is a sort
of medical assistant, whose duties
can be similar to a nurse, but the
Med Tech does not attend medical
or nursing school. In fact, their
training (QL3) actually qualifies
them to be a primary care paramedic, though most do not hold
the license. The Medical
Technician can work independently in the field, often finding themselves in a first-responder situation
or attending to a Unit’s medical
needs in the field. Although alone,
the Med Tech always has radio
contact with a supervisor in case
they need recommendations or
help. In a medical clinic, the Med
Tech works semi-independently
and is the first person to see a
patient in the clinic (often sick
parade), screening them, taking
the initial history, performing the
initial exam and making recommendations based on their findings. The Med Tech can assist with
some minor surgery, usually prepping patients and aftercare (dressing changes, etc) and they can perform some on their own such as
suturing, though this is almost
always done under supervision.
Med Techs can also recommend
diagnostic tests, bloodwork, or
draw blood, sterilize equipment
and set up IV’s.
With all the duties they have,
Med Techs go through some very
involved training, with four sections of material to cover, taught in
different locations across the
country. The course has a trauma
portion, a clinical portion, a
CBRN portion and a field portion.
The trauma portion of the QL5
Medical Technician course is
taught in Moncton, NB focusing
on advanced emergent care. Med
Techs never know what they are
going to encounter in the field as
they are often first on a scene, thus
they must be prepared. They learn
how to open or create an airway,
different forms of decompression,
and other advanced skills that will
help stabilize a patient until a doctor can see them.
The clinical portion of the
course builds on the anatomy and
physiology knowledge the students get in QL3. In this course,
the students learn about the physiological reactions of each body
system during a medical condition,
as well as how to do a physical
exam for each system. “One of the
most important things that I like to
see students take away is the ability to critically think…its key. Also
to take the knowledge that they
have learned and incorporate it
into their thought process, because
if you can’t turn it into actual
action, figure out what is wrong
with the patient accurately, you are
going to be disservice to that
patient,”

our primary job.” Although Med
Techs are not allowed to prescribe
medications, a pharmacist teaches
students about the different types
of pharmaceuticals and how and
when to use them.

Nuclear) portion teaches the students about the different characteristics of each category of substance (nerve, blister, etc.) so that
they can understand the chemical
process of the substance and recognize the signs and symptoms
associated with it. The students
also learn to setup and use a
decontamination unit, practicing
their treatment skills. “Even the
threat of it is enough for us to
make sure that our soldiers are
trained up as medics to be the best
that we can…to treat and recognize the signs and symptoms of
these different agents,” commented MCpl Anstey. “I hope we never
see any, it’s an extremely vicious
type of warfare that I hope never
sees the light of day.”

Medical Technician’s field activities. “This is very big stepping
stone in their career. It classifies
them as an independent medic, and
they will be put in charge of a lot
of people’s lives,” commented
MCpl Anstey. “That’s why we
make sure they receive the best
training we can possibly give
them.”

affirme le Cplc Anstey, instructeur du cours de technicien médical de niveau de qualification (NQ) 5, pour la partie se déroulant sur le terrain.
Les techniciens médicaux sont une sorte d’assistants médicaux qui exécutent des tâches
similaires à celles du personnel infirmier, mais sans avoir fréquenté une école de médecine
ou de sciences infirmières. En fait, leur formation de NQ 3 les prépare à agir en tant que
paramédicaux en soins primaires, bien que la plupart ne détiennent pas de permis à cet effet.
Sur le terrain, ils sont capables de travailler de façon autonome en remplissant souvent des
fonctions de premiers intervenants ou en prodiguant des soins médicaux au sein d’une unité
en campagne. Bien qu’ils agissent seuls, les techniciens médicaux peuvent toujours communiquer par radio avec leur superviseur dans le cas où ils auraient besoin de conseils ou
d’assistance. Dans une clinique, ils travaillent de façon partiellement indépendante et sont
les premiers à voir les patients (souvent dans le cadre de visites médicales). Ils établissent
alors les priorités de traitement, vérifient les antécédents, effectuent le premier examen et
formulent des recommandations fondées sur leurs observations. Ils peuvent en outre prêter
assistance lors de chirurgie mineure, ce qui comprend normalement la préparation des
patients et le suivi (changement des pansements, etc.), et sont en mesure d’en effectuer euxmêmes, telles que des points de suture, quoique ce soit presque toujours sous supervision.
Ils sont également appelés à recommander des tests diagnostiques ou des prises de sang, ou
encore à effectuer eux mêmes des prises de sang, à stériliser l’équipement et à préparer des
injections intraveineuses.
Afin de pouvoir remplir toutes leurs tâches, les techniciens médicaux suivent une formation très complexe, dont la matière est divisée en quatre parties, enseignées à différents
endroits au pays. Ces parties portent sur le traitement des traumas, les soins cliniques, la
défense CBRN et le travail sur le terrain.
La partie du cours de NQ 5 traitant des traumas est donnée à Moncton, au Nouveau
Brunswick, et met l’accent sur les soins très urgents avancés. Étant donné qu’ils sont souvent les premiers arrivés sur la scène, les techniciens médicaux ne savent jamais à quoi s’attendre et doivent donc se préparer. Ils apprennent à ouvrir ou à créer des voies respiratoires,
à maîtriser différentes formes de décompression et à perfectionner d’autres techniques
avancées qui les aideront à stabiliser les patients en attendant le médecin.
La partie du cours qui porte sur les soins cliniques vient renforcer les connaissances en
anatomie et en physiologie que les stagiaires ont acquises durant le cours de NQ 3. Ces
derniers apprennent à comprendre les réactions physiologiques qui se produisent dans chacun des systèmes et des appareils de l’organisme lorsqu’un patient est dans un état médical
particulier, ainsi qu’à effectuer l’examen physique de chacun de ces systèmes et appareils.
« Parmi les éléments importants que j’aimerais que les stagiaires retiennent, la capacité à
faire preuve d’esprit critique est essentiel. J’aimerais aussi qu’ils intègrent les connaissances qu’ils ont apprises dans leur processus mental, parce que s'ils ne peuvent pas s'en
servir sur le terrain pour déterminer le problème du patient correctement, ils lui rendront un
mauvais service », affirme le Cplc Maclean, instructeur des techniciens médicaux pour les
soins cliniques. « Notre rôle est de prodiguer des soins, c’est notre principal travail. » Les
techniciens médicaux ne sont pas autorisés à prescrire des médicaments, mais ils bénéficient tout de même d’une formation de la part d’un pharmacien sur les différents produits
pharmaceutiques, ainsi que sur la manière et le moment de les utiliser.
Quant à la partie sur la défense CBRN (chimique, biologique, radiologique et nucléaire),
elle vise à enseigner aux stagiaires les caractéristiques des différents agents (neurotoxiques,
vésicants, etc.), afin qu’ils puissent en comprendre le processus chimique et reconnaître les
signes et les symptômes qui y sont associés. Ils apprennent également à monter et à utiliser une unité de décontamination, pour y exercer leurs techniques de traitement. « La menace à elle seule nous pousse à former nos militaires paramédicaux du mieux que nous le
pouvons, afin qu’ils puissent reconnaître les signes et les symptômes de ces différents
agents et donner les traitements nécessaires », explique le Cplc Anstey. « J’espère ne jamais
voir de cas de ce genre. Ce type de guerre est extrêmement brutal et j’espère qu’il ne verra
jamais le jour. »
Restez à l’affût de la prochaine édition du Citoyen afin de connaître la fin de la formation des techniciens médicaux sur le terrain. « Il s’agit d’une étape très importante de leur
carrière. Ils sont maintenant qualifiés comme techniciens médicaux indépendants et auront
à préserver la vie de nombreux soldats », explique le Cplc Anstey. « C’est pourquoi nous
veillons à ce qu’ils reçoivent la meilleure formation que nous puissions leur offrir ».

A couple of 16 Wing members started the new year off
in a way that most people wish, namely with a promotion.
On the afternoon of January 9 Maj Leon Hachey, 16
Wing HQ Commanding Officer, gathered the HQ staff
together in the lobby of Croil Hall to promote MCpl Ashley
Hielema, and MWO Gaetan Boily in front of their peers.
Both individuals are members of the 16 Wing Air Reserve
Flight.
The Taize service will be held on Sunday, 2 February at
1900 hrs at Trinity Chapel.
A focus on healing with spiritual music, prayers, meditation, readings, and optional anointing/ laying on of hands.
The service is recommended for anyone desiring a closer
connection with God in Christ.

couple of recent cases where a
husband is charged with murdering his wife raise a quandary
of legal, moral and humanist issues.
Surprisingly, being convicted of murdering a spouse has implications in real estate
law.
Assuming the unhappy couple owned
their house as joint tenants , what happens
to the property if one spouse is convicted
of murdering the other? As joint tenants,
since one spouse died, the murdering
spouse should own the entire property. Is
this fair?
Ontario courts are clear. A joint tenants
"right of survivorship" is a rule of law and
does apply where one joint tenant murders
his or her co-tenant.
Ontario courts also uphold the principle
that a person may not gain from their own
wrongful act. For example, you cannot
collect on a life insurance policy if you
have murdered the policy holder. Would

property from automatically transferring
to the spouse convicted of murder?
No, but the courts have not allowed
murderers to gain from their wrongful
acts. To reconcile the conflict between the
two principles, the courts impose a trust on
the interest transferred by the right of survivorship.
The convicted spouse would hold one
half of the property in trust for the estate of
murdered spouse and the other half of the
property on his or her own account (criminals do no forfeit their property rights).
In this way, the courts have been able to
uphold the right of survivorship without
allowing a murderer to benefit from the
crime.

CHILD CARE PROGRAM CLEANER
The Centre is currently recruiting a highly motivated individual for fifteen (15) hours
per week. The position will be responsible for maintaining required standards of sanitation within the licensed Child Care Program.
Qualified applicants will possess the following:
• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Relevant experience;
• Awareness of local Department of Health and Day Nurseries Act of Ontario
regulations and guidelines;
• Ability to work flexible hours;
• Ability to work independently;
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Parent Support Facilitator
The Centre is currently recruiting a highly motivated individual who will be
responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating Parent/Care Provider Education
and support services. These are designed to promote positive parenting and healthy
parent-child relationships that support family cohesion and resiliency.
Qualified applicants will possess the following:
• Completed Post Secondary studies (minimum 2 year program) in social science,
human services, Child and Youth development or related field;
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in parenting and family support service
delivery;
• Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English;
• Proven knowledge, skills and experience in parenting programs, family life and
child and youth development;
• Experience developing and facilitating community based programming and services
for a wide demographic base specifically children and families;
• Understanding and sensitivity to the unique challenges experienced by individuals
and families affiliated to the Canadian Forces;
• Ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast paced multi-disciplinary team
environment;
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certificates;
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office ;and
• Prepared to work flexible hours.
Assets:
Experience working within a non-profit organization; and
Familiarity with local resources available to support families with special needs.

NETTOYEUR/NETTOYEUSE DU PROGRAMME DE GARDERIE
Le Centre est actuellement à la recherche d'une personne très motivée qui travaillera
quinze (15) heures par semaine. Le candidat ou la candidate retenue devra maintenir
les normes sanitaires exigées sur les lieux du Programme de garderie autorisé.
Les candidats doivent posséder les compétences et les atouts suivants :
• Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalent;
• Expérience pertinente;
• Connaissance des lignes directrices et des règlements adoptés par le ministère de la
Santé de la région et des dispositions de la Loi sur les garderies de l’Ontario;

pour but de promouvoir les pratiques parentales positives et de favoriser
l’établissement de rapports parents-enfants sains pour renforcer la cohésion et la
capacité d’adaptation des familles.
Les candidats doivent satisfaire aux critères suivants :
• Être titulaire d'un diplôme d'études postsecondaires (d'un programme d'une durée
d'au moins deux ans) en sciences sociales, en ressources humaines, en
développement des enfants et des jeunes ou dans un domaine connexe;
• Posséder au moins deux années d'expérience pertinente en prestation de services de
soutien parental et familial;
• Être apte à communiquer efficacement en français et en anglais;
• Posséder des connaissances, des compétences et de l’expérience confirmées en
matière de programmes à l’intention des parents, de vie familiale et de
développement des enfants et des jeunes;
• Avoir l’expérience de l’élaboration et de l’animation de programmes et de la
prestation de services communautaires destinés à un vaste éventail de groupes
démographiques, et plus spécialement aux enfants et aux familles;
• Faire preuve de compréhension et de sensibilité à l’égard des défis uniques que
vivent les personnes et les familles de la communauté des Forces canadiennes;
• Être capable de travailler avec un minimum de supervision au sein d’une équipe
multidisciplinaire, dans un milieu où les activités se déroulent à un rythme rapide;
• Posséder des certificats valides de secourisme général et de compétence en
réanimation cardiorespiratoire;
• Être apte à communiquer efficacement de vive voix et par écrit;
• Être capable d'utiliser Microsoft Office;
• Consentir à travailler selon un horaire variable.
