While a business entrepreneur typically measures performance in profit and return, a social entrepreneur focuses on creating social capital. 【社会起業家】福祉や環境問題等の社会課題を、事業を通じて解決しようとする起業家。利益より社会課題の解決を優先する。フェルナンダ・ボーンハウゼン・サ氏（ブラジル）ボランティア活動協会（IVA）創始者・会長 1998年NPO団体「ボランティア活動協会（Instituto Voluntários em Ação = IVA）」を設立し、ブラジルに初めて「ボランティアセンター」という考え方をもたらした。 2008年にユネスコ・国連ボランティア計画などと協力して、ボランティアマッチングのためのインターネットポータルサイトを立ち上げ、これまでに3万人以上のボランティアと400以上の NPO等を繋いでいる。 Fernanda Bornhausen Sá The founder and president of Instituto Voluntários em Ação (IVA) Ms. Sá founded and has been the major leader of IVA- Volunteers in Action Institute, a pioneer non-profit organization that introduced the concept of a volunteer center in Brazil. In partnership with several actors, including UNV and UNESCO, IVA launched an internet portal that introduced online volunteering opportunities in Brazil. Since its launch in 2008, there have been more than 30,000 new volunteers working for its more than 400 affiliated NGOs. Valentin Molisho Yombo-Djema Founder and CEO of Africa Foundation Stone（AFS） Charity Mr. Yombo-Djema is originally from Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and had managed several companies since the late 1980s. Among his achievements is successful management of US $ 1.2 million project to clean Kinshasa (capital city). Having moved to London in 2000, he founded AFS which aims to improve the quality of life of disadvantaged people and has been working for various charities and social enterprises. (Key Achievements) -Help to attract £3 million from DFID for Diaspora Volunteering Initiative project -Achieved the increase of AFS ‘income from £50,000 to £ 150,000 【コーディネーター】フィリーダ・パーヴィス氏 MBE （イギリス、大英勲章第五位）リンクス・ジャパン創始者・代表ダーラム大学神学部を卒業、ロンドン大学の東洋・アフリカ学科で日本語を学ぶ。英国外務省職員としてシンガポールで政治、在日英国大使館で経済を担当した。その後、東京大学大学院で日本の外交政策を研究し、1998年に日英のNGO・NPO交流の推進を目的に独自のNPO「リンクス・ジャパン」を設立。日英の障害者団体、国際協力 NGO、ホームレス支援団体間の交流に中心的な役割を果たし大英勲章（MBE）を受賞。近年は英国の社会起業家の活動を日本に積極的に紹介する役割を果たしている。ヴァレンティン・モリショ・ヨンボジェマ氏（コンゴ、イギリス）チャリティ団体「アフリカの礎」創始者・CEO コンゴ民主共和国（中部アフリカ）出身、 1980年代後半からリサイクル企業等の経営に関わり、首都キンシャサの廃棄物処理プロジェクト（120万ドル規模）を成功に導く等の実績を上げた。 2000年以降、ロンドンに拠点を移し、不利益な状況にある住民の生活向上を目指すチャリティ団体「アフリカの礎」を設立し経営にあたる。その傍ら、様々なチャリティ団体等に関わり、「ディアスポラ・ボランティア構想」プロジェクトに国際開発省から300万ポンドを獲得する等の実績を持つ。 Coordinator: Phillida Purvis MBE Founder and Director of Links Japan Ms. Purvis is Director of Links Japan which she founded in 1998 to promote non-profit and nongovernmental sector exchanges between the UK and Japan for the sharing of experiences, and joint projects, on ways to respond to common and comparable unmet social needs. Before that she did postgraduate research at Tokyo University on Japan‘s Foreign Policy after leaving HM Diplomatic Service where she served in Singapore, doing political work, and in Tokyo, doing economic work. She is a graduate of Durham University, in Theology, and studied Japanese at London University.
