ANNOUNCEMENTS
Jay Burke, MA Teaching
Easter Celebration Performance, Mar. 28 (Fri.) 9:45~11:15 a.m.
The Easter Celebration Performance is scheduled for Friday, March 29. Students are to be at school by
9:00 as usual. After the performance, students will return to their classrooms and stay at school until
regular dismissal time. Parents who are able to stay and help the PTA prepare for the Easter Fair are
requested to stay at school. School buses will operate as usual on this day.
イースター発表会３月２８日（金）
今年のイースター発表会は３月２８日(金)です。生徒たちは９時には登校させて下さい。発表会終了後、生徒は通常
通りのスケジュールです。翌日のPTAイースターフェアをお手伝いいただける保護者はそのまま学校に残って下さっ
ても結構です。28日、スクールバスは通常通り運行致します。
PTA Easter Fair, Mar. 29 (Sat.) 10:30 a.m. ~ 3:30 p.m. The PTA is planning a day of fun for family and friends to come to AIS and enjoy celebrating Easter with
food, games, bazaar, and a raffle drawing. School staff will help run the games booths and serve food. We
ask parents to invite their friends to enjoy the fair. Students and guests will be performing on stage
throughout the day. AIS students are scheduled to perform around 2:30 p.m. Assistance to help prepare for
the fair after the performance on Friday is much appreciated.
PTAイースターフェア３月２９（土）
PTAの皆さんが、ご家族やお友達のためにフード、ゲーム、バザー、ラッフル等みんなが楽しめる内容を計画していま
す。当日、スタッフはゲームやフードのブースの手伝いをします。保護者の皆様にはお友達を誘って、一緒に楽しんで
いただきたいと思ってます。AISの生徒と複数のゲスト出演者も歌やダンスの発表をします。
AISの生徒の発表は午後２時３０分頃の予定です。
Three Cherry Blossom Trees Received
The Foreign Schools Association of Hyogo Prefecture presented our school with three cherry blossom
trees to commemorate our 10th year. The trees have been planted on the north side of the school by the
grass play area. If all goes well, the flowers should be ready for viewing during our Easter Celebration.
３本の桜の木
兵庫県外国人学校協議会より学校の創立１０周年記念として３本の桜の木をいただきました。先月、学校北側の校庭
の横に植えられて、タイミングが良ければイースターフェアの時期には花見も出来るかもしれません。
Playground Use After School If you wish to use the playground after school, please consult the school office. Special usage permission
for about 30 minutes may be awarded if there is a responsible adult supervisor. Please use facilities at
your own risk, and do not let children play in the parking lot. The school does have the right to refuse due
to weather, ground condition or other program usage. Thank you for your understanding.
放課後の園庭の利用について
お子様のお迎え後、園庭を利用したい場合は、保護者責任者がオフィスで許可を得てからご利用下さい。自己責任に
て３０分間まで利用できます。それ以降は午後のプログラムでの使用や準備がありますので、隣の公園などを使用
して下さい。その際、車はスクールの駐車場にとめていただいても構いません。駐車場内でのお遊びはご遠慮下さ
い。園庭や駐車場は天候、園庭の状態、その他プログラムによって使用できない場合もありますのでご了承下さい。

Easter Celebration
We have entered the final month of the 2nd term, and our school will enter an Easter Celebration mode.
Easter is a Christian festival celebrating Jesus Christʼs resurrection on the third day after being being
crucified on the cross, as written in the New Testament. At AIS, we observe Easter on the final Saturday of
March each year. Globally, Easter is celebrated on the first Sunday after the full moon, following the spring
equinox falling between March 22 and April 25. This year, Easter Sunday falls on April 20.
Rabbits and eggs are symbols of Easter, as they symbolize fertility. We are preparing to provide children
an opportunity to decorate eggs and participate in an Easter Egg Hunt game during the PTA Easter Fair.
I thank all parents who have been generous in providing bazaar and raffle items. PTA representatives have
also been working hard to plan for the fair, and will need each parentʼs help this month to make the fair an
enjoyable one for all who participate! We have plenty of decorative Easter Fair fliers to help you invite your
friends. Thank you for helping distribute them.

復活祭
２学期の最終月が始まり、AISはイースターモードに入ります。日本語でイースターは「復活祭」と訳され、クリス
チャンのお祝いです。聖書に書かれているように、イエスキリストが十字架にかけられ亡くなられてから、三日目に
よみがえられたことをお祝いする日です。AISでは毎年３月の最終週末にイースターを祝うことにしています。
本来イースターは３月２２日から４月２５日の間、春分の後の最初の満月直後の日曜日で、時期は変動します。
今年のイースターは４月２０日(日)です。
うさぎや卵は多産や新しい命を意味するので、よくイースターのシンボルとして使われます。今年のPTA Easter Fair
では、参加する子供たちにはEgg Huntや卵をデコレートしたり楽しい企画を用意しています。
多くの方がバザーやラッフルの賞品を持って来て下さっていることに感謝します。PTAの代表の皆様は、フェアの準備
の為にお時間をさいていただきありがとうございます。参加するみなさまに喜んでいただけるフェアである為には、
保護者おひとりおひとりの手助けが必要となりますので、可能な限りのサポートをお願いします。皆様がお友達を
PTA Easter Fairにお誘いいただくために、案内をご用意しています。ご活用ください。
