The Giants team with the leader Shinnosuke Abe will hold a charity event this year, to assist the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake. On the day of the event, along with a talk show, items with autographs of Giants players will be presented by lottery in order to run a fund drive. All the money collected in the event will be brought to the afflicted areas in Tohoku by Mr. Abe himself.
