Το gr2014.eu είναι ο επίσημος ιστότοπος της Ελληνικής Προεδρίας του Συμβουλίου της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης. Πρόκειται
για τη βασική διαδικτυακή πύλη μέσω της οποίας τα ΜΜΕ,
το προσωπικό της Προεδρίας, διπλωμάτες, αξιωματούχοι, οι
Ευρωπαίοι πολίτες και το κοινό γενικότερα θα μπορούν να
έχουν πρόσβαση σε οποιεσδήποτε πληροφορίες και υπηρεσίες είναι διαθέσιμες σχετικά με την Ελληνική Προεδρία.
Ο ιστότοπος ενημερώνεται τακτικά με τις τελευταίες ειδήσεις, την αναγγελία γεγονότων και την πολυμεσική κάλυψη
των δράσεων της Ελληνικής Προεδρίας. Το περιεχόμενο του
ιστοτόπου παρέχεται στην ελληνική, στην αγγλική, στη γαλλική,
καθώς επίσης και στη γερμανική (χάρη στη συνεισφορά της
Γερμανικής Πρεσβείας στην Ελλάδα) γλώσσα.
Μπορείτε να εγγραφείτε στο εβδομαδιαίο δελτίο μας και
στην υπηρεσία RSS, να μας ακολουθήσετε στο Twitter, να
ανατρέξετε στο φωτογραφικό μας υλικό και στα βίντεο, να
παρακολουθήσετε ζωντανή αναμετάδοση εικόνας και να προσαρμόσετε τη μηχανή αναζήτησης στις δικές σας ανάγκες.

Προεδρία
Αναζητήστε πληροφορίες σχετικά με τις προτεραιότητες, το

Ελληνικής Προεδρίας. Υπάρχουν επίσης γενικές πληροφορίες

ΜΜΕ
Εάν είστε δημοσιογράφος ή εκπρόσωπος ΜΜΕ, μπορείτε να
ζητήσετε διαπίστευση, να βρείτε πληροφορίες για τον ραδιοτηλεοπτικό/φωτογραφικό φορέα υποδοχής και για το Κέντρο
Τύπου, να χρησιμοποιήσετε τις υπηρεσίες ειδήσεων και να κατεβάσετε και τον ειδικό οδηγό για τα ΜΜΕ.

ΔΙΑΠΊΣΤΕΥΣΗ ΕΚΠΡΟΣΏΠΩΝ ΜΜΕ
Μόνο διαπιστευμένοι δημοσιογράφοι και τεχνικό προσωπικό
θα έχουν πρόσβαση στους χώρους διεξαγωγής των άτυπων
υπουργικών συμβουλίων στην Αθήνα και στο Κέντρο Τύπου
Ζαππείου. Η διαπίστευση εξασφαλίζεται μέσω του συστήματος διαπίστευσης στον ιστότοπο της Προεδρίας gr2014.eu.
Είναι σημαντικό να τονιστεί ότι παρότι η γενική, εξάμηνης διάρκειας διαπίστευση για τους δημοσιογράφους με έδρα τις
Βρυξέλλες, ισχύει καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια της Ελληνικής Προεδρίας, οι εκπρόσωποι των ΜΜΕ που επιθυμούν να παρακολουθήσουν συγκεκριμένες συναντήσεις/εκδηλώσεις θα
πρέπει να επιβεβαιώσουν τη συμμετοχή τους σε καθεμιά από
αυτές χωριστά υποβάλλοντας τη σχετική αίτηση μέσω του συστήματος διαπίστευσης. (Πληροφορίες για την εξάμηνης διάρκειας διαπίστευση εδώ: www.european-council.europa.

Με την είσοδο στην πλατφόρμα ηλεκτρονικής διαπίστευσης
https://media.gr2014.eu/php/login.php ζητείται η καταχώριση διεύθυνσης ηλεκτρονικού ταχυδρομείου ώστε να δοθεί
κωδικός πρόσβασης στο σύστημα. Στη συνέχεια θα πρέπει να
γίνει ξανά είσοδος στη σελίδα διαπίστευσης προκειμένου να
ολοκληρωθεί η διαδικασία εγγραφής. Για την έγκαιρη ολοκλήρωση της διαδικασίας διαπίστευσης
για μια συγκεκριμένη συνάντηση/εκδήλωση, η εγγραφή θα
πρέπει να καταχωριστεί τουλάχιστον δέκα μέρες πριν από την
ημερομηνία διεξαγωγής του συγκεκριμένου γεγονότος.
Στη σελίδα διαπίστευσης θα ζητηθεί η καταχώριση προσωπικών δεδομένων (αριθμός αστυνομικής ταυτότητας/διαβατηρίου, αριθμός δημοσιογραφικής ταυτότητας), καθώς και η
επισύναψη αντιγράφου δημοσιογραφικής ταυτότητας ή συστατικής επιστολής από ΜΜΕ.
ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ: Παρακαλούμε στη συμπλήρωση των στοιχείων
σας να χρησιμοποιείτε ΜΟΝΟ λατινικούς χαρακτήρες.

ΔΙΑΠΊΣΤΕΥΣΗ ΕΚΠΡΟΣΏΠΩΝ ΜΜΕ
Για την ολοκλήρωση της εγγραφής θα πρέπει επίσης να αναρτηθεί μια φωτογραφία τύπου διαβατηρίου με την ακόλουθη
μορφή:
Τύπος: jpg, png, gif ή bmp
Μέγιστο μέγεθος αρχείου: 3Mb
Προτεινόμενο μέγεθος: 480 x 640 pixels
Το τελικό στάδιο αφορά την επιλογή των συναντήσεων/εκδηλώσεων τις οποίες επιθυμείτε να παρακολουθήσετε. Για
κάθε συνάντηση/εκδήλωση χρειάζεται ξεχωριστή αίτηση
διαπίστευσης. Η επιβεβαίωση της διαπίστευσής σας θα σας
σταλεί μέσω ηλεκτρονικού ταχυδρομείου εγκαίρως πριν από
τη συνάντηση/εκδήλωση. Επίσης θα λάβετε ένα ηλεκτρονικό
μήνυμα υπενθύμισης, προκειμένου να επιβεβαιώσετε ή να
ακυρώσετε τη συμμετοχή σας στη συγκεκριμένη συνάντηση/
εκδήλωση. Κάρτα διαπίστευσης
Μετά την επιβεβαίωση και τον έλεγχο των στοιχείων που
έχετε υποβάλει, θα εκδοθεί κάρτα δημοσιογραφικής διαπίστευσης, την οποία στη συνέχεια θα μπορείτε να παραλάβετε
σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες που ακολουθούν.
Παραλαβή κάρτας διαπίστευσης
Εκπρόσωποι ΜΜΕ που δεν έχουν έδρα την Ελλάδα: Οι δημοσιογράφοι που διαμένουν στο εξωτερικό θα μπορούν να
παραλαμβάνουν τις κάρτες διαπίστευσης από το Γραφείο
Διαπιστεύσεων του Κέντρου Τύπου Ζαππείου την παραμονή
(08:00-22:00) και τη μέρα της συνάντησης/εκδήλωσης (8:0016:00). Εκπρόσωποι ΜΜΕ με έδρα την Ελλάδα: Οι δημοσιογράφοι με
έδρα την Ελλάδα θα μπορούν να παραλαμβάνουν τις κάρτες
διαπίστευσης από το Γραφείο Διαπιστεύσεων του Κέντρου Τύπου Ζαππείου.
Η παραλαβή θα αρχίζει δύο μέρες πριν από τη συνάντηση/
εκδήλωση, καθημερινά από τις 08:00 ως τις 22:00.
Για την παραλαβή της κάρτας διαπίστευσης είναι απαραίτητη
η αυτοπρόσωπη παρουσία των ενδιαφερομένων στο Γραφείο
Διαπιστεύσεων του Κέντρου Τύπου Ζαππείου με την επίδειξη
διαβατηρίου ή αστυνομικής ταυτότητας σε ισχύ, καθώς και
δημοσιογραφικής ταυτότητας ή βεβαίωσης ΜΜΕ. 14
ΔΙΑΠΊΣΤΕΥΣΗ ΕΚΠΡΟΣΏΠΩΝ ΜΜΕ
Οι δημοσιογράφοι θα πρέπει να φέρουν σε εμφανές σημείο
την κάρτα διαπίστευσης καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια της συνάντησης/
εκδήλωσης προκειμένου να έχουν πρόσβαση στο Κέντρο Τύπου. Σημειώνεται ότι ενδέχεται επίσης, για λόγους ασφάλειας,
να ζητηθεί ανά πάσα στιγμή η επίδειξη στοιχείων ταυτότητας,
ως εκ τούτου οι δημοσιογράφοι θα πρέπει να έχουν πάντα τα
σχετικά έγγραφα μαζί τους.
Η κάρτα διαπίστευσης είναι έγκυρη για όλη τη διάρκεια της
συγκεκριμένης συνάντησης/εκδήλωσης για την οποία εκδόθηκε. Η απώλεια της κάρτας θα πρέπει να δηλώνεται αμέσως
στο προσωπικό του Κέντρου Τύπου, στο Γραφείο Διαπιστεύσεων ή στο πλησιέστερο Γραφείο Πληροφοριών.
Διαπίστευση τελευταίας στιγμής

Στις περιπτώσεις υπηκόων χωρών που χρειάζονται θεώρηση εισόδου (βίζα), οι δημοσιογράφοι φέρουν την απόλυτη

Η Ελληνική Προεδρία έχει οργανώσει ένα πλήρως
εξοπλισμένο Κέντρο Τύπου στο Ζάππειο Μέγαρο

Το Ζάππειο Μέγαρο αποτελεί ένα από τα λαμπρότερα κτίρια
της Αθήνας και ένα από τα σημαντικότερα δείγματα νεοκλασικής αρχιτεκτονικής.
Στο Ζάππειο Μέγαρο υπογράφηκε η Πράξη Προσχώρησης
της Ελλάδας στην ΕΟΚ, ενώ κατά τη διάρκεια της Ελληνικής
Προεδρίας της ΕΕ το 2003 το Ζάππειο φιλοξένησε τη συνάντηση του Ευρωπαϊκού Συμβουλίου για την υπογραφή της

To Aθηναϊκό-Μακεδονικό Πρακτορείο Ειδήσεων (ΑΠΕΜΠΕ, www.amna.gr) είναι ο Φωτοειδησεογραφικός Οργανισμός Υποδοχής της Ελληνικής Προεδρίας. Το ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ
θα καλύψει τις κύριες συναντήσεις/εκδηλώσεις της Ελληνικής
Προεδρίας που περιλαμβάνουν άτυπες υπουργικές και άλλες
υψηλού επιπέδου συνόδους, καθώς και ορισμένες πολιτιστικές
εκδηλώσεις.
Ο Φωτοειδησεογραφικός Οργανισμός Υποδοχής θα διαθέτει γραφείο στο Κέντρο Τύπου Ζαππείου, όπου θα είναι δυνατό να υποβάλλονται τυχόν ειδικότερα αιτήματα.
Ο ιστότοπος της Ελληνικής Προεδρίας (www.gr2014.eu)
περιλαμβάνει φωτογραφικό αρχείο, όπου οι ενδιαφερόμενοι
θα μπορούν να αναζητήσουν ψηφιακές φωτογραφίες υψηλής
ανάλυσης.
Οι διαπιστευμένοι δημοσιογράφοι καθώς και οι επίσημες
αντιπροσωπείες θα μπορούν να κατεβάσουν και να χρησιμοποιήσουν ελεύθερο δικαιωμάτων χρήσης το φωτογραφικό
υλικό που είναι διαθέσιμο μέσω του ιστοτόπου της Προεδρίας, εφόσον γίνεται ρητή αναφορά της πηγής (Ελληνική Προεδρία ή Συμβούλιο της ΕΕ, ανάλογα με την περίπτωση).
Παράλληλα, το ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ έχει δημιουργήσει ειδική ιστοσελίδα www.amna.gr/gr2014gallery για τις ανάγκες της Ελληνικής
Προεδρίας, όπου θα είναι διαθέσιμες φωτογραφίες υψηλής

Η ελληνική Δημόσια Τηλεόραση (ΔΤ) είναι ο επίσημος Ραδιοτηλεοπτικός Οργανισμός Υποδοχής για την Ελληνική Προεδρία του Συμβουλίου της ΕΕ. Η ΔΤ παρέχει στους διαπιστευμένους λειτουργούς ραδιοτηλεοπτικών οργανισμών δωρεάν
οπτικοακουστικό υλικό από τις άτυπες υπουργικές συνόδους
και άλλες συναντήσεις υψηλού επιπέδου που θα πραγματοποιηθούν στην Ελλάδα.
Η ΔΤ διαχειρίζεται τις κρατήσεις για τις εγκαταστάσεις της
ραδιοτηλεόρασης στο Κέντρο Τύπου Ζαππείου όπου διεξάγονται οι περισσότερες συναντήσεις. Στους ραδιοτηλεοπτικούς οργανισμούς προσφέρεται επίσης ένας περιορισμένος
αριθμός μη εξοπλισμένων θέσεων εργασίας, ανάλογα με τη
σειρά ζήτησης.
Όλες οι διευκολύνσεις παραχωρούνται ύστερα από αίτημα
προς τον Ραδιοτηλεοπτικό Οργανισμό Υποδοχής.

Τα κύρια σημεία διέλευσης των χερσαίων συνόρων με τις γειτονικές χώρες είναι: Εξοχή Δράμας και Προμαχώνας Σερρών
για την Βουλγαρία, Εύζωνες Κιλκίς για την πΓΔΜ, Κακαβιά Ιωαννίνων για την Αλβανία και Κήποι Έβρου για την Τουρκία.

Πηγαίνοντας στους χώρους της Προεδρίας
Κατά τη διάρκεια της Ελληνικής Προεδρίας του Συμβουλίου
της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης οι περισσότερες συνεδριάσεις και
συναντήσεις λαμβάνουν χώρα στο κέντρο της Αθήνας και
στα περίχωρα της πόλης.

Διευθετήσεις για τη διαμονή των εκπροσώπων των ΜΜΕ
Στο πλαίσιο της εξυπηρέτησης των δημοσιογράφων, σε συνεργασία με το Ξενοδοχειακό Επιμελητήριο της Ελλάδας,
προτείνονται ξενοδοχεία διαφορετικών κατηγοριών για όλες
τις άτυπες υπουργικές συναντήσεις που θα πραγματοποιηθούν στην Αθήνα. Τα προτεινόμενα ξενοδοχεία βρίσκονται
στο κέντρο της Αθήνας (σε απόσταση 2-3 χλμ. από το Κέντρο
Τύπου Ζαππείου) και προσφέρουν μειωμένες τιμές στους διαπιστευμένους δημοσιογράφους/εκπροσώπους ΜΜΕ. Σας
επισημαίνουμε ότι η κράτηση των δωματίων εξαρτάται από
τη διαθεσιμότητα των ξενοδοχειων τη συγκεκριμένη περίοδο.
Ως εκ τούτου, προτείνουμε να προβείτε εγκαίρως στις σχετικές διευθετήσεις. Οι κρατήσεις, οι πληρωμές και οι ακυρώσεις
εναπόκεινται στην αποκλειστική ευθύνη των εκπροσώπων των
ΜΜΕ, οι οποίοι θα πρέπει να έρθουν σε απευθείας συνεννόηση με τα ξενοδοχεία στα οποία προτίθενται να διαμείνουν.
Η Ελληνική Προεδρία δεν καλύπτει κανένα κόστος σχετικό
με τη διαμονή.

Γλώσσα
Η ελληνική είναι η επίσημη γλώσσα της Ελλάδας. Τα αγγλικά

Η ώρα στην Ελλάδα εντάσσεται στη ζώνη GMT+2 (από τα
τέλη Μαρτίου έως τα τέλη Οκτωβρίου η Ελλάδα συμμετέχει
στο θερινό ωράριο: GMT+3)
Κλίμα και Καιρός
Η Ελλάδα έχει μεσογειακό κλίμα με αρκετή λιακάδα, ήπιες
θερμοκρασίες και περιορισμένη βροχόπτωση. Στις παραλιακές περιοχές, μεταξύ των οποίων και η Αττική, οι καλοκαιρινές
θερμοκρασίες κυμαίνονται γύρω στους 27° C και οι χειμερινές σπάνια πέφτουν κάτω από τους 10° C.
Ωράριο λειτουργίας
Οι τράπεζες είναι ανοικτές από 8.00-14.30 (από Δευτέρα έως
Πέμπτη) και από 8.00-14.00 (Παρασκευή). Μερικά καταστήματα τραπεζών παραμένουν ανοικτά μέχρι αργά το απόγευμα
τις εργάσιμες μέρες ή λειτουργούν και το Σάββατο.
Το ωράριο λειτουργίας των καφέ και των εστιατορίων ποικίλλει. Υπάρχουν πολλές επιλογές από νωρίς το πρωί μέχρι αργά
το βράδυ.
Τα εμπορικά καταστήματα είναι κανονικά ανοικτά Δευτέρα και
Τετάρτη 9.00-15.00, Τρίτη, Πέμπτη και Παρασκευή 9.00-14.00
και 17.30-21.00 και Σάββατο 9.00-15.00 ή 17.00. Πολυκαταστήματα και εμπορικά κέντρα είναι ανοικτά κάθε μέρα 9.00-21.00
και το Σάββατο 9.00-20.00. Σε ορισμένες τουριστικές περιοχές τα εμπορικά καταστήματα παραμένουν ανοικτά και την
Κυριακή και τις αργίες.
Νόμισμα
Το νόμισμα της Ελλάδας είναι το ευρώ.
Συνάλλαγμα
Μπορείτε να ανταλλάξετε ξένο συνάλλαγμα με ευρώ στις περισσότερες ελληνικές και ξένες τράπεζες και στα ανταλλακτήρια που βρίσκονται στο κέντρο της πόλης και στο αεροδρόμιο.

gr2014.eu is the official website of the Greek Presidency of
the Council of the European Union. It is the main portal for
media, presidency staff, diplomats, officials, European citizens
and the public in general to access any kind of information
and services available with regards to the Greek Presidency.
The site is regularly updated with the latest news, events and
multimedia coverage concerning the Presidency’s activity in
Greek, English and French, as well as in German (thanks to the
contribution of the German Embassy in Greece).

MEDIA ACCREDITATION
Only accredited journalists and technical staff may access the
venues of informal ministerial meetings and Zappeion Media
Centre. Accreditation is obtained via the accreditation system
on the Presidency website gr2014.eu.
It is important to note that while the general six-month media
accreditation for Brussels based journalists is valid for the entire six-month period of the Greek Presidency, media representatives wishing to attend specific meetings/events must
still register for each individual meeting by filling in a registration form on the accreditation platform. (Information on

When accessing the online accreditation platform https://
media.gr2014.eu/php/login.php for the first time you will be
asked to provide your email address in order to receive
your personal access code. You will then need to access the
system again and start your registration from the login page.
To guarantee accreditation confirmation for a specific meeting, registration must be completed at least 10 days prior to
the meeting/event.
On the accreditation page you will be requested to enter
your personal data, your press card number and attach either a scanned copy of your press card or a letter of reference from the commissioning media.
You will also need to upload a passport photograph respecting the following format:
Type: jpg, png, gif or bmp
Maximum file size: 3Mb
Recommended size: 480 x 640 pixels.
The final step involves selecting the meetings/events you
would like to attend. A separate application is required for
each meeting/event. Confirmation of your accreditation will
be sent to you by email in good time before the meeting/
event.You will also receive an email reminding you to confirm
your attendance or to cancel your participation if you are
unable to attend.

Accreditation badge
On the basis of the information you have provided and its
subsequent validation, an accreditation badge will be issued
and made available for collection.
Badge collection
Non Greece based media representatives: Badges will be
available from the Accreditation Office at the Zappeion Press
Centre in Athens the day before (from 08:00-22:00) or on
the day of the event (from 8:00-16:00).
Greece based media representatives: Badges will be available
from the Αccreditation Office of Zappeion Press Centre in
Athens, as early as two (2) days prior to the meeting (from
08:00 - 22:00 daily).
To collect your badge, you will be asked to present a
valid identification document (passport or identity card)
with a photo as well as your press card or a letter of
reference from the commissioning media.
Please note that you must collect your badge in person and
wear it in a clearly visible way throughout the meeting/event
in order to have access to the Media Centre.You may also be
requested to present your personal identification at any time,
so please make sure you always carry it with you.
Each badge is valid for the duration of the specific meeting/
event it is issued for. Loss of the accreditation badge must be
reported immediately either to the Media Centre personnel
or the Accreditation Office.
Last minute accreditation
Please take note that last minute accreditation entails lengthy
and time consuming procedures and we strongly advise
against it. Last minute accreditation will not be available at any
venue other than the Zappeion Press Centre.
Nationals of some third countries require a visa. It is your
sole responsibility to take care of visa requirements. Journalists, who require an entry visa, must allow sufficient time for
the visa application procedure.

ZAPPEION PRESS CENTRE
The Greek Presidency has set up a fully equipped Press Centre
at Zappeion Conference & Exhibition Centre (Zappeion
Megaron, www.zappeion.gr/en/index.asp).
Zappeion Megaron is one of the most splendid buildings in
Athens and an important example of neoclassical architecture.
It was in Zappeion that the Treaty on Greece’s accession
to the European Community was signed in 1979, and it was
Zappeion that also hosted the European Council that signed
the Act of Accession of ten new Member States to the EU,
during the Greek Presidency of the EU in 2003.

The Athens-Macedonian News Agency (AMNA, www.amna.
gr/english) is the Host Photographer of the Greek Presidency,
covering all main events during its term. These include
informal ministerial and other high-level meetings taking place
in Greece, as well as certain cultural events.
The Host Photographer has a desk in situ at the Zappeion
Media Centre where specific requests may be forwarded.

HOST BROADCASTER
Greek Public Television (DT) is the Host Broadcaster for
the Greek Presidency of the Council of the European
Union. DT provides accredited television and radio
broadcasters with free of charge audio-visual material
from the informal ministerial meetings and other highlevel events taking place in Greece. DT manages reservations for broadcasting facilities at
Zappeion Press Centre, where most meetings will be
held. A limited number of non-equipped workspaces will
also be offered to Broadcasters on a first-come, firstserved basis. All facilities become available upon request to the Host
Broadcaster.

Accommodation for Media Representatives
As part of accommodation arrangements for Media
representatives, and in cooperation with the Hellenic
Chamber of Hotels, a number of various star-rating hotels
for the informal ministerial meetings to be held in Athens is
suggested.
The hotels in question are located in central Athens (within
a 2-3 km distance from Zappeion Press Centre) and offer
reduced rates to accredited media representatives.
Please note that rooms are subject to availability. It is,
therefore, advisable to make accommodation requests in
good time.
Reservations, payments or cancellations are strictly the
responsibility of media representatives. The Greek Presidency
does not cover any accommodation-related costs.

Language
Greek is the official languages of Greece. English is widely
spoken.

Greece Time is GMT+2 (from late March till late October
Greece participates in the Western European summer time
scheme: GMT+3).
Climate and Weather
Greece has a Mediterranean climate with plenty of sunshine,
mild temperatures and a limited amount of rainfall. In the
coastal regions, including Attica, summer temperatures
average around 27° C, and winter temperatures rarely drop
below 10° C.
Opening hours
Banks are open 8.00 – 14.30 Monday to Thursday and 8.00
– 14.00 on Friday. Some branches are open until late in the
afternoon on working days as well as on Saturdays.
Opening hours for Cafes and restaurants vary. There are
many options from early morning till late at night.
Shops are normally open on Mondays and Wednesdays
9.00 – 15.00, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9.00 – 14.00
and 17.30 – 21.00, and on Saturdays 9.00 – 15.00 or 17.00.
Department stores and shopping centres are open daily 9.00
– 21.00 and on Saturdays 9.00 – 20.00. In some tourist areas
shops remain open on Sundays and public holidays as well.

ACCRÉDITATION DES MÉDIAS
Seuls les journalistes et le personnel technique accrédités
ont accès aux lieux des réunions ministérielles informelles
à Athènes et au Zappeion Centre de presse. L’accréditation
s’obtient via le système d’accréditation sur le site web de la
Présidence gr2014.eu.
Veuillez noter que même si l’accréditation semestriel pour
les journalistes basés à Bruxelles sera valable pendant les six
mois de la Présidence, les représentants des médias souhaitant suivre les rencontres de la Présidence grecque doivent
confirmer leur participation à chaque événement précis en
s’inscrivant sur le système d’accréditation en ligne. (Informations sur l’accréditation semestriel ici: www.european-council.

Pour accéder à la plate-forme d’accréditation en ligne, il vous
sera demandé d’indiquer votre adresse e-mail afin de recevoir votre code d’accès. Il vous faudra ensuite accéder à nouveau au système et commencer votre inscription à partir de
la page d’ouverture de session.
L’inscription pour les réunions/événements de la Présidence
peut commencer à partir de la date de mise en service du
système en décembre.
Afin de garantir la confirmation de l’accréditation pour une
réunion spécifique, l’inscription doit se faire au moins dix
jours avant la réunion/l’événement.
Sur la page d’accréditation, il vous sera demandé de saisir vos
données personnelles ainsi que le numéro de votre carte
de presse et de joindre soit une copie scannée de votre carte
de presse soit une lettre de recommandation du média que
vous représentez.
Il vous faudra également télécharger une photo d’identité respectant le format suivant:

L’étape finale consiste à sélectionner les réunions/
événements auxquels vous souhaitez assister. Une demande distincte est requise pour chaque réunion/événement. Une confirmation de votre accréditation vous sera envoyée par e-mail en temps utile avant la réunion/l’événement.
Vous recevrez également un e-mail vous rappelant de
confirmer votre présence ou d’annuler votre participation en cas d’empêchement.
Badge d’accréditation
Un badge d’accréditation vous sera délivré sur la base
des informations fournies et de leur validation ultérieure.
Retrait du badge
Représentants des médias non établis en Grèce: Les badges
peuvent être retirés auprès du Bureau d’accréditation au Zappeion Centre de presse à Athènes la veille (de 08:00 à 22h00)
ou le jour-même de la réunion (de 08h00 à16h00).
Représentants des médias établis en Grèce: Les badges
peuvent être retirés auprès du Centre d’Accréditation au
Zappeion Centre de presse à Athènes, deux (2) jours avant
la réunion, de 08h00 à 22h00.
Pour retirer votre badge, il vous sera demandé de présenter une pièce d’identité (passeport ou carte d’identité) et aussi votre carte de presse ou une lettre de
recommandation du média que vous représentez.
Veuillez noter que vous devez retirer votre badge en personne et le porter visiblement, tout au long de la réunion/
l’événement, afin d’avoir accès au Centre de presse. Veillez
toujours à vous munir d’un document d’identité, il peut vous
être demandé à tout moment.
Chaque badge est valide pour toute la durée de la réunion/
l’événement spécifique pour laquelle/lequel il est délivré. La
perte du badge doit être déclarée immédiatement au personnel du Centre de presse, du Bureau d’accréditation ou
auprès du point info.

Accréditation de dernière minute
Nous vous avertissons qu’une accréditation de dernière minute implique des procédures longues et fastidieuses et
nous vous le déconseillons vivement. Les accréditations de
dernière minute ne pourront être obtenues qu’au Zappeion
Centre de presse.
Les ressortissants de certains pays ont besoin d’un visa
d’entrée. Il est de leur responsabilité de prendre soin de
l’obligation de visa. Les journalistes qui ont besoin d’un visa,
doivent prévoir suffisamment de temps pour la procédure de
demande de visa.
Accréditation des médias pour les événements à
Bruxelles et au Luxembourg
Si vous souhaitez assister à des réunions à Bruxelles et à
Luxembourg durant la Présidence grecque de l’UE, l’accès et
l’accréditation sont accordés selon les conditions existantes

ZAPPEION CENTRE DE PRESSE
La Présidence grecque a mis en place un Centre de Presse
entièrement équipé afin de répondre aux besoins de toute
sorte des médias. Le Centre de Presse est situé à Zappeion Centre de
conférences et d’expositions (Zappeion Megaron www.
zappeion.gr/en/index.asp), l’un des bâtiments historiques
les plus beaux d’Athènes et l’un des exemples les plus
représentatifs de l’architecture néoclassique. La signature du traité d’adhésion de la Grèce à la Communauté
européenne a été effectuée à Zappeion. Ici, lors de la
Présidence grecque de l’UE en 2003, le Conseil européen a
procédé à la signature de l’acte d’adhésion des dix nouveaux
États membres à l’UE.

L’Agence de presse athénienne macédonienne (ANA-MPA,

officiel de la Présidence grecque. Il couvrira tous les principaux

DIFFUSEUR HÔTE
La télévision publique grecque (DT) est le diffuseur hôte
officiel de la Présidence grecque du Conseil de l’UE. La DT
fournira gracieusement aux radiodiffuseurs et télédiffuseurs
accrédités du matériel audiovisuel, provenant des réunions
informelles et autres réunions de haut niveau en Grèce.
La DT gérera la réservation d’installations de diffusion au
Centre de Radiotélévision du Zappeion Centre de presse,
où se dérouleront les réunions. Des espaces de travail non
équipés, en nombre limité, seront offerts aux diffuseurs selon
le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi.
Toutes les installations seront attribuées sur demande effectuée auprès du Diffuseur hôte.

Au cours de la présidence grecque du Conseil de l’Union
européenne, la plupart des réunions et événements se
déroulent dans la ville d’Athènes et ses environs.
Zappeion Centre de presse
Situé dans le centre historique d’Athènes, Zappeion Centre
de presse se trouve à distance de marche d’environ 5’ de
la place Syntagma et du Parlement grecque. Zappeion est

Taxi: Les taxis à Athènes sont abondants et peu coûteux.Vous
pouvez normalement les héler n’importe où et à n’importe
quel moment de la journée, mais vous pouvez aussi appeler
un taxi radio à un tarif un peu plus cher qu’un taxi ordinaire
(numéro de taxis radio: www.xo.gr/search/?what=Radio+Taxi

Hébergement des médias
Un nombre d’hôtels de différentes catégories est proposé, en
collaboration avec la Chambre hellénique des hôtels, afin de
mieux servir les journalistes lors des réunions ministérielles
informelles prévues à Athènes pendant le semestre.
Les hôtels proposés sont situés en plein centre-ville d’Athènes
(à une distance de 2 à 3 km de Zappeion Centre de presse)
et fournissent un meilleur prix aux représentants des médias
accrédités.
Veuillez noter qu’une chambre ne peut être réservée qu’en
fonction des disponibilités. Il est donc recommandé d’effectuer
vos réservations bien à l’avance.
Les représentants des médias sont invités à réserver directement une chambre dans l’hôtel de leur choix. La Présidence
grecque ne couvre pas de frais liés aux services hôteliers.

Langue
Le grec est la langue officielle du pays. L’anglais est largement
parlé.
Heure locale
L’heure de Grèce est GMT/UTC+2 (+ 3, du dernier dimanche
de mars au dernier dimanche d’octobre).
Climat et températures
Le climat est de type méditerranéen et l’hiver est relativement
sec et ensoleillé avec des températures douces, sauf dans les
régions montagneuses où le froid et la neige sont bien présents.
Dans les régions côtières, y compris l’Attique, les températures
estivales sont en moyenne autour de 27 ° C, et les températures
hivernales descendent rarement en dessous de 10° C.
Heures d’ouverture
Les banques sont ouvertes de 8:00 à 14:30 du lundi au jeudi
et de 8:00 à 14:00 le vendredi. Certaines branches sont
ouvertes jusqu’à tard dans l’après-midi les jours de la semaine
ainsi que le samedi.
Les heures d’ouverture pour les cafés et les restaurants
varient et il y a beaucoup d’options à partir de tôt le matin
jusqu’à tard dans la nuit de boire ou de manger.
Les magasins sont généralement ouverts les lundis et
mercredis de 9:00 à 15:00, les mardis, jeudis et vendredis de
9:00 à 14:00 et de 17:30 à 21:00, et le samedi de 9:00 à 15:00
ou 17:00 . Les grands magasins et les centres commerciaux
sont ouverts tous les jours 9:00 – 21:00 et le samedi de
9:00 à 20:00 . Dans certaines régions touristiques les magasins
restent ouverts le dimanche et les jours fériés ainsi.
Monnaie
La monnaie nationale est l’euro.
Change de devises
Les devises étrangères peuvent être échangés contre des euros
dans la plupart des banques grecques et étrangères et au sein
des bureaux de change situés dans le centre-ville et à l’aéroport.
Distributeurs automatiques de billets et cartes de crédit
Toutes les banques en Grèce disposent de guichets automatiques bancaires (ATMs). Toutes les cartes de crédit et les
chèques de voyage sont acceptés presque partout.

AKKREDITIERUNG VON MEDIENVERTRETERN
Nur akkreditierte Journalisten und technisches Personal dürfen
das Zappeion-Pressezentrum sowie andere Räumlichkeiten in
Athen betreten, wo die informellen Ministertreffen stattfinden.
Die Akkreditierung erfolgt über das Akkreditierungssystem auf
der Website der Ratspräsidentschaft gr2014.eu.
Die allgemeine sechsmonatige Dauer der Akkreditierung
während der griechischen Präsidentschaft wird für die in Brüssel ansässigen Journalisten gültig sein. Diejenigen Medienvertreter, die an spezifischen Tagungen/ Veranstaltungen teilnehmen möchten, müssen sich jedoch anmelden und das entsprechende Anmeldungsformular im Akkreditierungssystem

Beim Betreten der elektronischen Plattform http://gr2014.
eu/de/press/accreditation für die Akkreditierung werden Sie
gebeten, Ihre E-Mail-Adresse anzugeben, damit Sie den Zugangscode erhalten. Anschließend müssen Sie erneut die Akkreditierungsseite besuchen, damit die Prozedur abgeschlossen wird.
Auf der Akkreditierungsseite werden Sie gebeten, Ihre persönlichen Daten (Personalausweis-/Reisepassnummer und
Presseausweisnummer) einzugeben. Sie müssen außerdem
eine Kopie Ihres Presseausweises oder eines Empfehlungsschreibens Ihrer Redaktion anhängen. Für den Abschluß der Registrierung müssen Sie auch ein
Passfoto in folgendem Format hochladen: Dateiformat: jpg, png, gif oder bmp
Maximale Dateigröße: 3Mb
Empfohlene Dateigröße: 480 x 640 pixels
Der letzte Schritt betrifft die Auswahl der Treffen/ Veranstaltungen, an denen Sie teilnehmen möchten. Für jedes Treffen/
Veranstaltung ist ein gesonderter Antrag erforderlich. Die Bestätigung für Ihre Akkreditierung wird Ihnen per E-Mail rechtzeitig vor dem Treffen/ Veranstaltung zugeschickt. Sie erhalten
auch eine E- Mail, die Sie daran erinnert, dass Sie Ihre Teilnahme

bestätigen oder im Falle einer Verhinderung absagen müssen.
Die Registrierungsprozedur für die Treffen bzw Veranstaltungen des Vorsitzes kann seit der Inbetriebnahme des Akkreditierungssystems vorgenommen werden.
Für den rechtzeitigen Abschluß der Akkreditierung für ein bestimmtes Treffen /Veranstaltung sollte die Registrierung mindestens zehn Tage vor dem jeweiligen Termin vorgenommen
werden.
Auf der Grundlage der von Ihnen gemachten Angaben und
der anschließenden Bestätigung wird ein Akkreditierungsausweis ausgestellt, den Sie gemäß folgender Anweisungen in
Empfang nehmen können.

Abholung des Akkreditierungsausweises:
Medienvertreter, die nicht in Griechenland ansässig sind können die Akkreditierungsausweise vom Akkreditierungszentrum des Zappeion-Pressezentrums am Vortag (08:00-22:00)
oder am Tag des Treffens/Veranstaltung (8:00-16:00) abholen.
Medienvertreter mit Sitz in Griechenland können die Akkreditierungsausweise vom Akkreditierungszentrum des Zappeion-Pressezentrum abholen.
Das Abholen wird zwei Tage vor dem Treffen bzw Veranstaltung, täglich von 08:00 bis 22:00 beginnen.
Beim Abholen der Akkreditierungskarte ist die physische Präsenz der Interessenten im Akkreditierungsbüro des ZappeionPressezentrums sowie die Vorlage eines gültigen Reisepasses
oder Personalausweises und eines Presseausweises oder eines
Schreibens der Redaktion, für die Sie arbeiten, erforderlich.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass Sie Ihren Akkreditierungsausweis so
tragen müssen, dass er während der gesamten Veranstaltung
deutlich zu sehen ist. Es ist auch jederzeit aus Sicherheitsgrün81

den möglich, dass Sie Ihre Identität nachweisen müssen. Deshalb sollten Sie immer die entsprechenden Dokumente bei
sich haben.
Jeder Akkreditierungsausweis ist für die gesamte Dauer des
Treffens bzw Veranstaltung, für die er ausgestellt wurde, gültig.
Der Verlust des Akkreditierungsausweises muss unverzüglich
dem Personal des Pressezentrums, des Akkreditierungszentrums oder des nächsten Informationszentrums am Ort des
Treffens mitgeteilt werden.
Last-Minute-Akkreditierungen
Wir machen Sie darauf aufmerksam, dass Last-Minute-Akkreditierungen zeitraubende Prozeduren mit sich bringen und
raten Ihnen, davon Abstand zu nehmen. Last-Minute-Akkreditierungen sind ausschließlich im Zappeion-Pressezentrum am
Vortag und am Tag der Veranstaltung möglich. Staatsangehörige von Ländern, die ein Visum benötigen, tragen die volle Verantwortung für die entsprechende Prozedur
und müssen auch selbst abschätzen, ob sie genügend Zeit zur
Erstellung eines Visums haben.
Akkreditierung von Medienvertretern für Veranstaltungen in Brüssel oder Luxemburg
Wenn Sie während der griechischen Ratspräsidentschaft Veranstaltungen in Brüssel oder Luxemburg besuchen möchten,
erfolgen der Zugang und die Akkreditierung in Einklang mit
den geltenden Regelungen des Generalsekretariats des Rates
derEuropäischen Union.

es ist zudem ein wertvolles Zeugniss neoklassizistischer
Architektur. In Zappeion wurde der Vertrag für den Beitritt

Die Athener-Mazedonische Nachrichtenagentur (ANA-MPA,
www.amna.gr/english) ist von der griechischen Präsidentschaft
beauftragt, über die wichtigsten Ereignisse während ihrer
Amtszeit zu informieren. Dazu gehören informelle Ministerund andere hochrangige Treffen in Griechenland sowie kulturelle Veranstaltungen. Dem Host Fotografen steht am Zappeion Pressezentrum für

HOST BROADCASTER
Das griechische öffentliche Fernsehen (DT) ist der Host
Broadcaster der griechischen Ratspräsidentschaft. Es vergibt
akkreditierten Fernseh- und Hörfunkveranstaltern kostenlos
audio-visuelles Material aus in Bezug auf informellen Ministertreffen und anderen hochrangigen Veranstaltungen, die in
Griechenland stattfinden.
Das DT verwaltet Reservierungen für Sendeanstalten im
Zappeion Pressezentrum, in wo die meisten Treffen stattfinden werden. Eine beschränkte Anzahl von nicht ausgestatteten Arbeitsräumen werden Veranstaltern nach „Windhundverfahren“ angeboten.
Alle Einrichtungen werden auf Anfrage vom Host Broadcaster
vergeben.

im historischen Zentrum von Athen und ist daher leicht zu

Unterkunft für Medienvertreter
Für die Unterkunft der Medienvertreter werden in Zusammenarbeit mit dem griechischen Hotelverband für die in
Athen stattfindenden informellen Ministertreffen Hotels unterschiedlicher Kategorien empfohlen.
In den betreffenden Hotels, die sich im Athener Zentrum
(2 – 3 Km vom Zappeion-Pressezentrum entfernt) befinden,
gelten für akkreditierte Medienvertreter reduzierte Preise.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Zimmer nur begrenzt verfügbar
sind; es empfiehlt sich daher Ihr Zimmer rechtzeitig zu buchen.
Für Reservierungen, Zahlungen und Stornierungen kommen
die Medienvertreter auf. Unterkunftskosten werden von der
griechischen Präsidentschaft nicht gedeckt.

Griechisch ist die offizielle Amtssprache. Englisch ist weit verbreitet

Klima und Wetter
In Griechenland herrscht ein gemäßigtes Mittelmeerklima
mit vielen Sonnentagen, milden Temperaturen und geringen
Niederschläge. In den Küstenregionen, inklusive Athen, beträgt
die durchschnittliche Sommertemperatur etwa 27° C. Wintertemperaturen fallen selten unter 10° C.
Öffnungszeiten
Die Banken sind montags bis donnerstags von 8.00 bis 14.30,
freitags von 8.00 bis 14.00 Uhr geöffnet. Einzelne Filialen sind
sowohl an Arbeitstagen als auch an Samstagen bis spät am
Nachmittag geöffnet.
Die Öffnungszeiten für Cafes und Restaurants können abweichen.
Die Geschäfte sind in der Regel montags und mittwochs von
9:00 bis 15:00 Uhr, dienstags, donnerstags und freitags von
9.00 bis 14.00 und von 17.30 bis 21.00 Uhr, samstags von
9:00 bis 20:00 Uhr geöffnet. In manchen touristischen Bezirken Athen sind die Geschäfte auch sonntags sowie an Feiertagen geöffnet.

Die Währung Griechenlands ist der Euro
Geldwechsel
Umtausch anderer Währungen in Euro erfolgt in den meisten
griechischen und ausländischen Banken sowie in Wechselstuben im Athener Zentrum und im Flughafen.
